A quick Google search for a coffee stop (that wasn't my usual Union station stop) brought me to Found Coffee. This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk. They also had a banana bread latte that my companion really enjoyed too! Looking forward to my next visit! read more

Super cute little coffee shop located in the lobby of the InterContinental. Everything here is Instagram worthy and on brand. It's a tiny, cozy place with only a couple tables and tall chairs, so they can really only accommodate grab-and-go orders, other than a few people to sit or work. Perfect for a coffee before a Jays game or if you're here for a conference next door. I realized it was already late fall and I hadn't yet had my one and only PSL of the year, so that's what I ordered. It was decent as far as PSL's go and came with a lovely little foam pumpkin on top. Tres adorbs. The iced strawberry matcha latte also looked incredible and I had order envy. My friend ordered a pastry and said it was delicious. They also have a great little selection of food items, canned bevvies, coffee beans, teas, as well as souvenir gifts for purchase such as ceramic mugs. Another new coffee shop near Union Station! I'm glad Found Coffee opened up within walking distances, so it gives a lot of commuters more choices. It's located inside the Intercontinental Hotel, with an entrance from inside the hotel and outside facing Front Street. The cafe is cute - white/pink themed and super clean. The cafe was SUPER packed on a Friday, so service was definitely slower. They also ran out of brewed coffee. It took about 5-7 minutes to order and 10 minutes for the drinks to be ready. There was only one barista making drinks. Most of the drinks came in 6oz or 12oz, so prices were definitely a bit on the pricer side. I wish they had an 8oz option though. I ordered a flat white and it was perfectly balanced with a pretty latte art. I will come back to try their other drinks - pretty interesting names! read more

No stranger to Found Coffee, this new location is located along Front St. W. near Simcoe where it is connected to the Intercontinental Hotel (there is a hotel entrance as well as an outside entrance!). The cafe opened recently on May 16th where the owner is celebrating with free brewed coffee all week long. I stopped by Found Coffee on their opening day. The new space is small but does have a few tables to enjoy your beverages. The menu has your standard espresso and tea drinks as well as a few other unique offerings like the banana bread latte or the lavender matcha. There are coffee gear/supplies as well as beans to purchase as well. During my visit the staff were friendly and just like Found's other locations, once you receive your drink the staff let me know where my beans were from. The service was quick and efficient. Overall, a beautiful new location located in the heart of downtown Toronto near Union station. Love how it is also connected to the hotel lobby so visitors will get a chance to try great coffee in the city if they decide to stay at the hotel! read more

Great little coffee shop. The coffee is delicious, tastes really good. Prices are decent for what you get but it's not the cheapest cup out there. The staff are excellent: friendly, knowledgeable and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Have a cappuccino today and come back tomorrow! read more

Really liked the atmosphere here. The café has a modern, stylish look, but still feels warm and welcoming. It's the kind of place where you can sit for a while and enjoy a quiet meal or coffee. Service was pleasant, and overall it was a very enjoyable visit. read more
