While it may seem like there's "not much to review" when it comes to gyms, I genuinely believe not all gyms are the same. Onelife clearly takes pride in their space. The facility is clean, the machines are well-maintained and up to date, and they pay attention to the little details (which I definitely notice). The personal training rates are also very reasonable, and overall, the vibe is exactly what I look for in a gym. You can tell most people are there to actually work out--not just hang around, socialize, or hold up equipment. I really appreciate being in an environment where people are focused, respectful, and using the gym for what it's meant for. If you're looking for a gym that feels welcoming, well-run, and truly built for people who want to move and improve, Onelife Fitness Perimeter is it. Lots of cardio machines on both floors and a designated stretching area and cross fit section. They sell protein shakes, energy drinks and snacks. They also offer amenities like massage chairs and saunas. This location does not have a pool. Only comment I can add is the guy working at the reception can be a little more lively. Just gave off the vibe he didn't want to be there.

Toilet paper is not always available, the place smells, and it's often either too hot in summer or too cold in winter. Much of the equipment is really old and when needed repairs are noted, they seem to take far too long to get fixed. They show no customer loyalty, even to customers who have been long-standing members.

We worked through the whole hour from warming up to exercises to actual kickboxing and it was FUN!! Would definitely recommend you dropping by to give one of their classes a try if you're looking to break out of your regular workout routine. Everything from the gym itself to the "ring" was clean as a whistle which is always a plus! Will definitely be returning for more classes soon.

Also there's no incentives for people that work in the concourse. I was hoping for a reason to switch to this gym but every dot they dotted and t they crossed didn't pass for me. I would've preferred more modern units, more benches and definitely more dumbbells. My local Y actually beat them on raw weight and benches. Oh and this gym is actually cheaper in NY. If that makes sense.

I usually go later at night or weekend afternoons, so I can't speak to other times. It's never too crowded to where you can't get something done. There's an abundance of cardio machines, and even with strength machines, there's often 2 of the same ones. The only area that may occasionally get packed is the dumbells rack if you need to fight for a bench. There's also a dedicated circuit area, as well as more ab-centric machines in the corner. Overall, a great value for basic gym needs. You may have to bite your tongue at how many of the people are doing things with poor form, but hey, just mind your own business, and move along, haha.

They have a lot of machines, and I can get everything I need done here. The problem I have is with the staff, the billing practices, the lack of communication and the dishonesty. These themes have become so ubiquitous at gyms, that I haven't joined one for years. I'm only here because I'm running a half marathon in a little over a year and I know that I will need to log some miles and build up my cardio, muscles on machines when it's freezing or boiling outside. All that being said, they had a promotion about a week and a half half ago for $25 initiation fee and 35 a mont. You pay your initiation fee and you pay the first two months, get one free - so about $95 for three months. Not bad. Two weeks after I sign up I get a $59 charge on my credit card. I called to find out why and after ringing 20 times I can hear a voice in the background and then a quick disconnection as the person hangs up on me. I called back and let it ring at least a dozen more times and the same girl/voice answers and I ask her to please not hang up. I let her know that it appears I'm being charged too soon and I'm being charged the wrong amount. She informs me this is the annual fee that they always charge two weeks after you sign up...I'm sorry come again?! Excuse me, what?! I let her know that first of all, I wish she would not hang up when a customer calls and second I wish they had been honest about the charge. When I signed up, no one mentioned it. Just do honest work guys - it's not that hard and you will feel better about yourself and your members will feel better about working out at your establishment.

I like how she made me feel comfortable about joining crunch fitness and explained the entire process with me. I wanted to wait to tour the gym first before I joined, but Elena was so phenomenal over the phone that I signed up immediately! I got the unlimited membership so I can have access to all of the classes and amenities. Elena is a true gem and a great asset to crunch fitness. Beside the gym having a sauna which was something that I wanted, I also joined due to the fantastic customer advice that I received from Elena. If you guys are looking for a good gym that has amazing customer service and who care about their members. Come to crunch fitness and ask for ELENA! :)

Will updating months later the steam room today on Easter day at around 7:30 was absolutely filthy…read moreand smelled like a sewer. It took probably 45 minutes for anybody to do anything which again didn't help me very much. I went into the sauna and it's similarly filthy. By looking through the spaces between the cedar planks you can see Band-Aids and other crap there. Just really dirty for something we pay so much for. There is also no direct way to contact corporate about this. The offer was to talk locally to the concierge but I guess that's really the problem isn't it. What we talking locally do if this is how they maintain the club anyway. It's just terrible that I have to do this every time you know every other month it's this way.
