Paying $5.00 to get into this area ...

Don't know where to start... first of all you had to pay $5.00 just to get into a piece of land with pumpkins in the ground... no photo ops but a run down tractor and cutout peanut characters ... there was a cool haystack that kids could climb and a cool little yard area but you had to purchase a different ticket which meant you had to get on the train or pay for a corn maze... being disabled I couldn't do either... paying $20 per person to take a picture on the hay stack was a bit much! We opted to take pictures of kids by the pumpkins... I felt like they just wanting money for every little thin...upon entering we were told our wristbands would go towards the cost of a pumpkin,,, they didn't tell us that we had to buy 3 in order for us to get our monies worth! We just wanted to find someplace where we could take the grandkids without breaking the bank!

Money hungry establishment. 1. Don't take credit cards cause they are probably hiding money. 2. You have to pay for an entry to see the pumpkins, if you want to ride the train it's a separate fee, corn maze separate, ok but if adults don't want to go on train ride they can't wait for their kids, have to stand behind a fence. We went to underwood before and it's a different experience. This place is cheap and money hungry. Wouldn't recommend.

This review is for the produce sales-only. I haven't purchased any pumpkins, or come for any of the Fall-related activities mentioned in other reviews here. I stopped here the other day with my boyfriend's mother who likes to grab a large container of tomatoes for soups, salsas, sauces, sandwiches, and splitting among family nearby. She paid $25 for her tomatoes, and I spent $15 on 3 small baskets of strawberries, and $4 on a large avocado (pictured). I gave her 1 small basket of strawberries, and she gave me 5 or 6 large tomatoes. While I can appreciate the quality of the produce, and getting items directly from the source, the prices are little higher than I expected, and seems to make more sense for a wholesale buyer than someone like myself purchasing for individual or small household-use. I also didn't feel the two ladies working the produce station were particularly friendly (or egregious), although they did answer questions when asked. This place is cash only, so be sure to have some on hand if you intend to purchase anything. There's ample parking on site. I can't say for certain I'll be back - the prices just don't make sense for how I go through produce. I think before I venture on back, I'll be checking out Tapia Brother's Farm produce stall and corn maze nearby!

The review is on just tomatoes. The tomatoes were juicy and tasty. The green tomatoes were perfect when oven fried. I paid $10 cash for a bag but the weighted about 4.5 lbs. i would buy again. Cashier was friendly.

I know there are sunflowers there. I even seem to remember they were selling them. You can look through the photos listed here or call them. Hope this helps.… Read more

Good food, much more reasonable priced pumpkins than in Hollywood, and the corn maze was tall and very tricky.

I have purchased my Christmas trees from Bennett's Christmas Tree Lot for the past three years, and…read morethere is a reason I return every season. The trees are consistently exceptional, fresh, fragrant, and noticeably higher quality than any I have found anywhere else in Southern California. This past year, I was unexpectedly abroad for nearly ten months tending to a family emergency. During that time, my tree remained in my home. While it naturally dried over those months, it did so beautifully and evenly, in a healthy, intentional way, reminiscent of the poetic, sculptural dried trees some boutiques curate deliberately for aesthetic presence. Even after many months, it retained its form, its grace, and its quiet beauty. That experience speaks volumes about the care, sourcing, and stewardship behind their trees. The lot itself always smells incredible, that unmistakable, grounding scent of real pine that instantly signals the season. I also deeply appreciate that they insist on cutting the tree immediately before you leave, ensuring the freshest possible cut and the longest life once it's home. Everyone who works at Bennett is welcoming, supportive, and kind, which already sets this place apart. But this year, I experienced something that clarified why character matters just as much as how people choose to show up. I arrived at the lot carrying more in my heart than I could easily articulate. It has been an exceptionally difficult year, and after returning from heart-wrenching months abroad, I found myself quietly in need of humanity. I approached Anthony with visible hesitation, unsure even how to begin the conversation. He immediately slowed down, gave me his full attention, and created a sense of safety through presence alone. There was no sense of being rushed along, no judgment, no transactional posture. He listened carefully, responded thoughtfully, and met me exactly where I was, with dignity and discernment. In that moment, shame dissolved and gratitude took its place. Anthony felt like a personal Christmas angel, not because of any grand gesture, but because he chose kindness, integrity, and humanity when it mattered. What I experienced was not an expectation, an arrangement, or a precedent. It was a singular moment of care, offered responsibly and with heart, guided by conscience and respect. This is not simply a place to purchase a Christmas tree. It is a place guided by people who understand that this season invites us to slow down, to truly see one another, and to lead with conscience, care, and humanity. I will continue to return year after year and recommend Bennett Christmas Tree Lot without hesitation.

They were so considerate, they worked with our budget and they even gave my daughter a star for the top of our tree. Staff was all friendly and the place was pretty clean! A huge bonus that it's in a parking lot so the dust is limited. Love that there is a ton of parking! Prices here are a little on the steep side, but kind of what you would expect from an urban pumpkin patch in Sherman Oaks. $4 per token, and most activities take two tokens. The train was two tokens and I think it did 3 or 4 small laps. There aren't a lot of food options, just funnel cakes and a broken cotton candy machine. Would be great if they had some other hot food! Pumpkins are good quality and priced pretty fairly. Some cute photo ops for the family and for kids. I would definitely recommend stopping by Tina's! It's fun for the whole family.

Parking is free, and entrance is free, which is very rare with patches, and all rides and activities cost 1 token, which is equal to $4. One token costs $4, so it can add up if you have more than 1 kid, and there are a few jumpers and games to play with. Easily spent 60 bucks here with 2 kids and doing all activities. There's not a lot, but there are about 2 jumpers, 2 games, a train ride, a horse ride, and a petting zoo. Simple but a good way to kill maybe 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes tops with your kiddo. My kids had a blast, which is the important thing. They enjoyed the small train ride and the petting zoo; you can feed them for just $1. The jumpers are timed, so if you go on the weekend when it is busy, they enforce it; however, if you go during the week and it is slow and there are no lines, they will not enforce this rule. Usually they let them jump for a good amount of minutes; sometimes they don't even stop them. I got my kids tired in one jumper, then they got to play in it for about 7 mins. So good to keep in mind. Overall it is fun for kids, but as adults, this one is not for you.
