Cute little pumpkin patch. This was my second year coming and I was sad to find out they no longer have pick your own pumpkin from the patch. That was the thing I was most looking forward to. But they still do the tractor ride and you get a smaller tour around the property. While you ride you get to hear about the farm. Lots of cute head in the hole character pictures to take and an adorable little hay maze for the tots. The corn maze is pretty fun. I love that they have a hunt for the riddle contest. We were able to find it all in about 45 min with our group of four. It helps to split up haha! Team work! I did not like that some places had too much water, so there was lots of squishy mud and we all ruined our shoes. It was slippery and if you weren't walking carefully you could slip and get all muddy. I hope it's not like that all the time, but just in case please don't wear sandals. Wear shoes you don't mind getting ruined. I like that they have a fresh farm stand and sell what they grow fresh from the property. The produce was beautiful and fairly priced. I've never seen such beautiful onions. I know that's probably weird to say, but the quality of the produce is very nice! read more

Don't know where to start... first of all you had to pay $5.00 just to get into a piece of land with pumpkins in the ground... no photo ops but a run down tractor and cutout peanut characters ... there was a cool haystack that kids could climb and a cool little yard area but you had to purchase a different ticket which meant you had to get on the train or pay for a corn maze... being disabled I couldn't do either... paying $20 per person to take a picture on the hay stack was a bit much! We opted to take pictures of kids by the pumpkins... I felt like they just wanting money for every little thin...upon entering we were told our wristbands would go towards the cost of a pumpkin,,, they didn't tell us that we had to buy 3 in order for us to get our monies worth! I wish I could rated this place higher, but it's just difficult. We came on a Saturday late afternoon and there were plenty of parking. It cost $5 to get in and I thought not too bad, but the only thing to do for $5 is pick a pumpkin and take some pictures behind those boards with the head cut out. We went mainly for the corn maze and that was $15, fair enough. At least the path was cleared and not muddy/dirty. It did allow my kid to run around and kill some time. This review is for the produce sales-only. I haven't purchased any pumpkins, or come for any of the Fall-related activities mentioned in other reviews here. I stopped here the other day with my boyfriend's mother who likes to grab a large container of tomatoes for soups, salsas, sauces, sandwiches, and splitting among family nearby. She paid $25 for her tomatoes, and I spent $15 on 3 small baskets of strawberries, and $4 on a large avocado (pictured). I gave her 1 small basket of strawberries, and she gave me 5 or 6 large tomatoes. While I can appreciate the quality of the produce, and getting items directly from the source, the prices are little higher than I expected, and seems to make more sense for a wholesale buyer than someone like myself purchasing for individual or small household-use. I also didn't feel the two ladies working the produce station were particularly friendly (or egregious), although they did answer questions when asked. This place is cash only, so be sure to have some on hand if you intend to purchase anything. There's ample parking on site. I can't say for certain I'll be back - the prices just don't make sense for how I go through produce. I think before I venture on back, I'll be checking out Tapia Brother's Farm produce stall and corn maze nearby! read more

We came here a few months ago for the fall pumpkin patch hosted every year. We were excited to come. Unfortunately, we were a day late and we were not aware it was closed. The lady who worked there was not friendly and rude to us, because they were closed and according to her we should have "read the sign", which was not easily visible from the street because it was small and the sign was inside the market area. I believe her coworker notice that she was rude and aggressive in her tone when she abruptly stopped us from entering, but her coworker didn't intervene. It seemed as though he's notice her behavior before in her interactions with customers. I hope next time we can enjoy the farm and its activities again , and we receive better customer service, as we enjoy coming here. read more

We drove by today and I was intrigued to see a local farm experience in the valley. Most of these fun farm places are in Moorpark and Ventura, so how exciting to see one so close to the city. There was some Friday traffic so we were inching by the farm establishment. While we were there I went ahead and searched for the business on Yelp, to my surprise this place had such a low average review. So I put my phone down and started to look at the establishment more. All of a sudden I got a really bad feeling about the place, something just seemed off in the energy. What at first seemed like a decent establishment, suddenly looked quite out of place. After a while of looking, it seemed artificially welcoming and grand. Looking past the grand entrance I could see a shallow small place that was disproportionately smaller than the entrance and parking lot area. I'm in my 30's and I've been fortunate to patronize a lot of businesses and travel the world, let's just say I've developed a sixth sense for spotting out red flags for businesses. Sometimes there are obvious red flags, but some businesses can be more deceiving and subtle about their red flags which are all right in front of you. This would fall on the more deceiving end. After running errands and getting lunch, we came home, and I decided to revisit the Yelp page of this business and see what others experienced. To my disgust, one of the first photos I saw is that this farm has a racist, derogatory depiction of a Black scarecrow on their property. I then read horror stories of individuals, families and children being openly verbally assaulted by staff and the DJ. Price gouging. False advertising or misleading advertising. Racist and prejudice against guests. Rude towards guests who have already paid. Absolutely inappropriate and unacceptable behavior that is not professional in any way. So I cannot comment on the food or produce, however I am disgusted at their racist depiction of a scarecrow and that alone is enough reason enough for me to never patronize this place. Racism, sexism, etc is not acceptable. People it's not about being woke or democratic, it's just called being kind, respectful and living in peace with one another. Racism goes against peace. This is wildly inappropriate for any establishment to harbor this kind of racism, but I'd say it's a bigger faux pas on their end since the demographic seems to be family based. read more

You used to be able to walk around pick your pumpkins, take a few pics, buy your pumpkin and bounce or pay a couple bucks to sit on a horse. Cool, no problem. Now you need to pay 5/ person to walk around 3 rows of pumpkins? And if you want to do anything else you need to pay 20/ person in cash to go to the back of the farm and check out whatever they have back there. So a total of 25/person, $100 for a fam of 4 to... what? Walk around? It was so odd. At least if you got a pumpkin or snack or petting zoo or something it might make up for it... but this is gouging. read more

If you are expecting produce that tastes like homegrown, look elsewhere. The tomatoes and cucumbers had a distinct look and taste of the same stuff you buy at Ralph's. We love supporting small businesses, and especially farmers, but this price was 2-3 times the grocery store price, and there was nothing special provided in exchange. To boot, we bought a seedless watermelon that had a large batch of the hard brown seeds within. If you are going to charge premium price, at least provide a semi-premium product, not something we could find at any grocery importing food off trucks and ships. You're better off driving a bit further to Malibu or Studio City on Sundays for a proper farmer's market with produce that will delight your taste buds, or head toward Camarillo and visit the roadside stands there. read more

Forneris Farms has the freshest produce in the valley. Their tomatoes are huge and so sweet and juicy. I cannot find a tomato that can compare anywhere else. I love just stopping by and picking up whatever is in season. I know California is not kind to farmers (water is extremely expensive for them) so I feel good doing what I can to support our local farm. The pumpkin patch is a seasonal favorite for our family. The kids love it and of course, to support our local farm, we purchase all our Halloween pumpkins here for class projects and decoration. Finally, so far everyone I have ever interacted with on the farm has been very kind, helpful, and informative. I've even had the pleasure of meeting Farmer John who is a hard working, respectable man who is carrying on his family business even though it's a tough one. We love Forneris Farms!! read more

So excited to come by and buy some 'fresh strawberries' so I drove up parked and had an unpleasant customer service experience today around 4:40pm. Asked for price and I was told $15 for 3 baskets by the vendor. A lady with dark hair wearing a red shirt. I said ok can I look at them underneath because when I buy them like this I get home and the bottom is rotted. She got defensive and said you can see them from the top. How are you gonna check them? I said I want to take them out and inspect the bottoms of each basket. Then she told me I didn't have to do that there because they pick them from the farm. And she got defensive. So I told her I'm paying for them aren't I? I should be able to see them before buying them. And she said yes, I guess so. Pushed them to me and got more angry as I checked each. I thought they looked ok so I said I will take them and placed my cash gently on the table. She snatched it out of my hands and came back with my change with an attitude. I said thank you and walked away. This is why we don't support local business because supermarket customer service is better than this. I'm not coming back and want others to please check your produce before walking away and don't let them bully you in these situations when you're buying the food and they make you feel bad for being a conscious consumer. We used to love this place. We'd come for vegetables a couple times a year and walk through to look at and pick out pumpkins in the fall. We tell everyone about this place. They used to do a corn maze, petting zoo and other Halloween/fall activities but they aren't this year. We were so bummed to see that now they charge just to look at/shop for pumpkins!! What the what?! There's an entrance fee to shop?! We don't pay to walk into a farmer's market or grocery store, why would we pay to walk into a farm stand? It's $5 just to use your eyes. Sure if you buy a pumpkin over $10, they discount it from your entrance fee but how do I know if I want to buy if I can't even look first? I can buy pumpkins anywhere around town but we like to support smaller businesses even though their pumpkin prices are astronomical. We don't want to pay just to shop. For the pumpkin patch, you pay $5 admission and on top of that have to pay extra $20 to get to the other side of the gate (which is probably what everyone with kids does) to do the maze, train ride and their "pumpkin patch." Had so much fun picking pumpkins here. Not sure what everyone is complaining about. Yes they charge 5$ to get in to the pumpkin patch area but you get that credited back on your purchase and if you aren't planning to buy a pumpkin why are you coming to a pumpkin patch? The train ride is 10$ but it's super cute, very informative, they sanitize before each rider, and you get to pick your very own pie pumpkin right off the vine to take home with you. If my friend... aaaaaall the way from Claremont, didn't tell me about this farm, I wouldn't have known this decent-sized farm was here. There is a large dirt parking lot available for free. The actual retail portion of this farm is large and really nice. Not only did they have an impressive variety of pumpkins and squashes and gourds, they also had produce that we actually use and need like onions and apples... AND flowers! The "theme park" portion of this farm has an IMPRESSIVE SIZED MAZE. I mean, it was so big you could google map it to find out where you were. We totally failed trying to get all the scavenger hunt items. There is a little kids' sections with a playground, a couple of bouncies and a pyramid made of hay bales. There is also a TRACTOR RIDE and though it is short, it was sweet. There are picnic tables available, which is great coz they have nice snacks like kettle corn. It is kinda pricey though. read more

This location does not recognize any other disability even with the certified documentation showing that your dog is a service dog.
