Unfortunately, Mirror Lake Dentistry has been closed for quite some time like 6 months so my wife and I needed to find a new dentist. My life found this place. This place is like no other as it reminds me a mini mall but for dentist specialties. I went for a cleaning and x-rays. My appointment was around 7:30am and I was down out in 50 minutes which is not too bad. I wish I knew about the mini-arcade that they have in there, but then again I would be occupied and not want to have my appointment nor head to work. The only downside is they do make you fill out a lot of paperwork and it is on your phone which sometimes it makes it hard to fill out. I wish they have an option to send it through email and fill it on the computer as doing it over the phone can be tricky. Xrays was not too bad, they have this machine that does a 360 xray which was fun, they do the other x-rays which where they stick the film in your mouth and take a snapshot. It is not too bad, but that takes around 20 minutes. Then, they did my teeth cleaning which took around 15 minutes. I spent the other 10 minutes waiting to get my teeth clean and then 5 minutes for the dentist to come in and check out the teeth. Overall, I do not mind coming here for my future visit. This was my 1st & most likely last time here. They called me, didn't leave a voicemail and when I called back (they close at 3pm on Wednesday) no answer. And then they CANCELLED my appointment! The only saving grace was the technician who took my X-rays, she was very kind and the dentist who looked at everything. I had to go back the next day to get my cleaning done. And to top it off they have a coupon on Yelp & no one knows anything about it. read more

I met Dr. Graves when I went in for a tooth ache. I liked him well enough but unfortunately I needed a root canal and they don't do those here. He referred me to an Endodontic Dentist in Mesquite and she was awesome. After getting the root canal done, I made an appointment with Dr. Graves but couldn't get in for a couple months. As that appointment neared, I was called and rescheduled for a month or so later. As that appointment neared, I was once again was called and rescheduled for another month out. Finally, my appointment this morning. I've taken my pre meds required by my doctor and arrive on time. I am then informed that the hygienist is out today so they can't do my cleaning. I can have him look in my mouth but reschedule for the cleaning I've been trying to get for too many months. I'm DONE!! Plenty of Dentists to choose from I cant recommend this one. read more

Got teeth whitened and impression for mouth guard for the gym with dr Graves. Then had consultation with Dr Rice and blood draw. Doing a complete check of hormone levels and any potential allergies. Once results are back Dr Rice will go over all the details and recommend follow up. Then got hour message from Savanna. If your looking for a place that will work with you to stay well rather than trying to treat the problem with medications then you should give them a try. The staff is professional and caring and willing to spend time working with you. More than you standard dr office. My wife is scheduled for her appointment next month. I can't say enough about how much we love this dentist office! My kids have gone here for what seems like everything a broken tooth, cleanings, root canal and now braces. My son broke his tooth in half and Dr. Graves has been awesome from start to finish. A kid who is terrified of needles and didn't even realize when he had to get a shot in the mouth. Dr. Graves has done a great job with both my kids and their dental work that they look forward to going back each time!! The staff is very friendly also. Dr. Robertson does the braces and he is pretty great too. Very friendly!! He answered all our questions and always takes the time to understand any concerns we have. He has an assistant Chris who is awesome and my kids hope for him each time. As a parent I am thankful for dentists like these guys who make a scary thing like having dental work done into something not so scary! They genuinely care and take pride in what they do. I first started to come here about two years ago I believe, had regular check ups and did Invisalign. This is the friendliest staff you could possibly ask for, I wouldn't have done Invisalign if they didn't make me feel so comfortable doing it and explaining the process! I'm really thankful for that. I had a balance of ~$1,200 from my wisdom teeth removal when I had changed insurances and they realized it was the insurance's fault and got them to take care of it-- I really hate that I can't remember her name but she has been with them for so long, her and Chris have been so helpful the entire time I've been there, they're the best (: The facility is really clean, theres always HGTV playing in every room. The only issue I've encountered was being taken back late, I'd suggest booking with 30min. allotted as wait time. read more

I am always skeptical of trying new offices for medical and dental issues. This one is top notch! Not only was the staff friendly and the office modern and cozy, but Dr Graves is very knowledgeable and reassuring when it comes to what is best for me. I actually went in there for an orthodontic exam. The orthodontist was also very professional and did not try and sell me on braces and only gave me the facts. I had finally reached the point with so many broken teeth and years of recurring abcesses and toothaches that I was ready to consider dentures. I hadn't been to a dentist since moving to Texas, and this was the closest that accepted my insurance. The extractions were a breeze. With conscious sedation I didn't feel a thing. not even the numbing shots. I was done in about 2 hours. and that was extracting a mouthful of broken up teeth. The staff did a great job while I was under explaining to my husband how to care for me at home. Seriously I had no pain even after the drug and numbing wore off. But as good as the extraction process was, the after care has been fantastic. These are truly caring people. Dr. Graves has really done a super job making adjustments to correct every sore and rubbing spot. He really cares about your comfort and if you can point to where it rubs he can fix it. And if it rubs in a different spot next week he'll fix that. If you have been considering dentures but were afraid and putting it off like I did, I highly recommend Forney Wellness Dental. read more

Excellent dental office! I was able to get a Saturday appointment, which made me extra happy that they have weekend appointments. The appointment started with X-rays, and they have awesome technology for digital X-rays which made it fast and very easy. Then continued with a cleaning, which was pain free and very thorough. TVs in each exam room and the rooms were very clean! Dentist was very nice and talked me through everything - had to have two small drillings and it was painless and quick. Overall the staff is extremely nice and very informative. The building is extremely clean and high-tech. I highly recommend! I'm already scheduled to go back in six months and for once I'm actually looking forward to going to the dentist! read more

Dental hygienist is insane. Gouged my gums to excess. It felt like she was stabbing my gums on purpose when checking them. Finally I moved away from her to communicate that it did indeed hurt and she said "if I were you I wouldn't move when someone had a sharp instrument in my mouth." Lady was seriously pissed off. Remainder of visit was awkward. I had asked the dentist about the possibility of having my retainers cleaned, but the orthodontist wasn't in and I was told to come back a different day. (I almost never wore my retainers and my teeth had shifted. I wanted them clean before I wore them again). The hygienist overheard and offered to do it. I was surprised since she was kind of nasty before. She asked me to remove them, then later came back and took the case, handing the closed case back to me awhile later. It felt light. Guess who gave me an empty case?! Yah, crazy, huh? At first I thought I had to be mistaken. Surely they would call me if they had been "misplaced" and didn't make it to the case. Surely no one would actually do such a thing. It was quite awhile later before I checked and they didn't have them. I KNOW what happened now, there's no other possible explanation. I literally took the case, which felt light, and took the case straight home. So guess who had to make appointments and drive back and forth to another orthodontist when they were later pregnant, to get retainers remade? Me! And they weren't nearly as good as the first set. Guess who had to shell out a thousand bucks? Me! Guess who is completely not happy with the insane hygienist because their teeth will forever be slightly off now? Me! Okay lady, I get your point, you weren't happy with me. Stop stabbing people's gums and they won't get mad at you! read more

The patient concierge had previously taken our insurance information and was able to tell us our benefits before beginning service. The staff were all kind and attentive. I took my son to see Dr Villanueva to get a cleaning and fill a cavity. i have nothing but the highest praises for Forney Wellness and Dr Chris Villanueva for their expertise and professionalism in their practice. The waitng time to see the dentist was very short and the treatment time went very well. The staff is very courteous and are very professional. The dentist and the staff put you totally at ease which helps with the anxiety some feel when going to the dentist. My kids and I are in love with Dr. Graves!!! He is so kind and loving to all of us he cares for my children like non other! He loves to hear about your family and will openly share his life with you. My kids love him because they say he is so funny! I also think the same. His style is like no other its like going to a top of the line restaurant! LOL With out the valet parking. He is very well aware of the economy today and still wants the best for your family! We moved here and it was just the luck of the draw that we got him! Now I will not see anyone else! Not saying that the other dentist isn't great we have only seen him once. I feel like family when we go there. His hands are like a fine piece of art...priceless! If your looking for someone who is kind, loving, and knows what they are doing and wont over charge you or say you need things done when in fact it doesn't! Then you have found your dentists. There are few people in the world that do what they want to do because they are passionate about it and he is one of them. My daughter was in there and he must have spent and hour on her for one tooth that she complained about! Not because it took an hour but because she is almost 13 and complains about everything! Even when we got in the car to leave she started to complain again!!!! Over nothing! But he stopped eating his lunch to make sure she was satisfied! And we all know its not easy to satisfy a pre-teen! It's like he read my mind and knew that she would go home and complain and drive me nuts so he he did everything he could do to keep me sane!!! I enjoy the service at Dental Family Circle, the Doctors are great! The staff is always friendly & kind. My children get both dental and orthodontic procedures at this office. They are affordable. My ONLY complaint is that they have their televisions tuned to Fox News all of the time. I am an educated person, and choose to get my news from a reputable source, NOT Fox News. Knowing the extreme bias that Fox news has towards the religious right, and how often they are called out on spreading lies and fear mongering; it seems irresponsible to me that such a savvy office would allow for such ignorance as a common practice. Tune it to CNN, NPR, or even BBC- something a little less biased, or even better yet; since most of the patients here are children, it would be wonderful if their choice of television stations reflected that. I am not sure if these dentists are trying to make a political point, or push an agenda; but I prefer that my children NOT learn to disrespect a sitting President at their dental office. (& some of the topics are outright vulgar!) I am seriously thinking of changing dentists once my children are out of braces because of this- there are just too many others to choose from to have to put up with this. read more
