My son had his wisdom teeth extracted today. I will say that I did not initially understand the need to pre-pay my deductible and co-pay in order to secure the appointment; however, taking into account the last minute cancellations and/or no shows I understand how this could have a negative impact on a business. The staff was truly amazing. They were professional, friendly and attentive. The Dr was also patient, relatable and had exceptional bed side manners. He even called to check in on said patient. I had to get my infected tooth beyond repair extracted and went to Dr. Parekh for this.  He was referred to me by my endodontist.  Like anyone, I was terrified of the procedure. Dr. Parekh explained everything to me in layman's terms before the procedure as well as during. Dr. Parekh even called after the extractions to check up on me personally which left a very lasting impression for me. He is so kind and does care for you.  Most importantly, it's very clear how experienced Dr. Parekh is.   I recommend this place for anyone who is in my position such as having to get their wisdom teeth removed/teeth extraction.  From the front desk to the assistants, everyone is so kind and professional. Dr. Parekh is the best! He makes sure you are comfortable throughout the procedure. He calls you that evening to check on you and to remind you to take your meds. He very personable and you feel like he is your friend. If there is a problem (I never had one) after hours he tells you to call the office and it goes right to his cell. i have been in excruciating pain from my botched oral surgery almost every day for the past two years. it's been an ongoing battle to receive my money back for a procedure paid in full that wasn't even halfway completed (2/5 teeth attended to) because Dr. Martinez threw a literal temper tantrum and yelled at me for HIS mistake of not numbing me before putting me to sleep, therefore my body kept jerking during the procedure. it's been admitted by the office billing agent that he was in the wrong, and instead of the refund the office promised me, i got a bill for $500 MORE dollars (other than what i had already paid in full) as Dr. Martinez and the office attempted to fraudulently bill me as if he had an Anesthetist in the room- which was untrue and there was no anesthetist even in the building that day. I consulted with an outside anesthetist and a separate medical billing office to confirm the illegality of these actions. I still have yet to receive a dime back from Pinnacle after TWO YEARS, and the extensive damage that only partially completing my surgery has left will cost astronomically more than the original procedure which Dr. Martinez willingly failed to complete, then acted completely out of turn and had the audacity to yell at me for HIS MISTAKE, while i was waking up and confused from being put under, literally in so much pain i was crying and begging him to please finish the surgery. Pinnacle has done absolutely nothing to rectify their negligence in billing and in care, but i would be afraid to ever return for care at all. at the very least, be weary of your bill, and get it checked by an outside source as i believe i am not the only person he has double charged procedures to insurance for people who he didn't think knew any better. read more

This is Review 1 or 2. It is 9/11/17 and I had my appointment to review my grill with the Dr. Super nice people from the reception to the nurses to the admin folks. We set up my surgery to have my wisdom teeth out, went over all the pre-op and post-op info, then all the costs and insurance information. All very routine and professional. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I was back before my appointment time of 8:40am and out before 9am. Thanks for taking good care of my. I'll post an addition below once surgery is over!! read more

I highly recommend Dr. Parekh and Pinnacle Oral Surgery for any of your oral surgical needs! He performed 3 oral surgeries for me a year ago, and last week he removed the wisdom teeth from my two sons. He is so personable, professional, and is very thorough in his work. He called that evening to check on my sons, and he reassured me that if there were any issues to call the office and that it would go directly to his cell. I travelled 40 miles in the pouring rain today with my high functioning autistic son for a wisdom teeth referral. The lady at the desk was unwelcoming and continued to talk to her colleague as I waited. She proceeded to take my Delta Dental insurance card and Id. She processed it, not a word, 'thank you Ma' am, please take a seat.' We waited for 40 minutes and was called to the back. A nurse spent 10 minutes trying to get a full head x-ray of my son while explaining it was a new machine and she had only learnt the instructions that day! We finally saw a Dr Parekh who was informative but then we were ushered into an insurance/money room with a lady who did not seem to know what she was doing. She was in, out apologetic etc. We finally get the estimated bill and she tells us Delta Dental is not supported, the dentist we saw is out of network and we have a $75 co-pay.Estimated bill, $3,000 plus. Thank you to the front office person who would not make eye contact with me or inform me that Delta Dental is not covered. Money grabbers. read more

I had a implant procedure done 2 weeks ago. During my consultation they told me I would need to pay for the procedure in advance since I was paying cash. Thought that was a little odd but went ahead and did it. The dentist told me that would probably not need to have a bone graft but he was going to put it on the estimate anyway. So when I paid in advance the $552.00 for the bone graft and $2200 for the implant. After the procedure was complete the doctor said the bone graft was not necessary. They said they would be refunding me for a bone graft. Well its been 2 weeks and I still have not received a refund for the bone graft. You might think well there were waiting for my check to clear. But that was not the case a check was cashed. There refund process is terrible. Overall had no problems with procedure just think they need to change their payment policies and procedures. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I refuse to use this office ever again. After being told by my dentist that this office would give me a free consultation to have my wisdom teeth removed, I decided to schedule an appointment. I called over a week ago and scheduled an appointment for Thursday, July 13 at 3:00PM. On that call, I talked to Lisa who confirmed that it would be a FREE consultation. Upon arrival, I checked in at the front counter. About 5 minutes later, I was called back up to the desk and told that I did not have an appointment scheduled. The lady at the front desk (who treats everyone like a 5 year old) told me there was a mix up and my mom had not called back with the insurance information. She then prompted to give me 3 pieces of paper to fill out (all of which contained information I already gave them over the phone when scheduling the appointment). She mentioned that she needed to see my ID and insurance card. I said I did not have my insurance card with me, but my mom already called and gave them the information. She looked on her computer and said "oh, yes, we do have you insurance information, so don't worry about that part on the form. I'll just need your ID". Now hang on... If you already have my insurance info, then why was my appointment not scheduled??? Whatever. I let that go and filled out the forms requested. I returned them, along with my photo ID, and proceeded to wait another 20 minutes to have my ID returned and be called back into a room. They immediately took X-rays and took me to the room. A few minutes later, Dr. Martinez walks in and starts going over my X-rays. No complaints about him. He was knowledgable and helpful, however, he only provided information that my dentist already gave me. After he finished, I was walked back up to the front counter and presented an estimate along with a bill for today's visit for $106. I thought it was a free consultation??? I asked what that was for, and was told, once again by the lady that treated me like a 5 year old, that bill was for the exam. They plan on sending me a bill. I refuse to ever use this office and plan to tell anyone and everyone I know. Very unprofessional, liars, and expect to be billed for every second of their time, even though I arrived at 2:45 and didn't leave until 4:15. I will be sending them a bill for my time as well, considering the time I was away from work. read more
