This made it easy to know who was next and ensured that everyone was prepared when it was their turn to be assisted. Once I arrived at my window, Shelley Green was an absolute pleasure. She was kind, informative, patient, and offered a warm helping hand during what has been a difficult time. Her compassion and willingness to assist made the experience feel much less overwhelming, and I truly appreciated the level of care and professionalism she provided. It opened at 9:00 am and we were in a line of maybe 8 people and other folks trickled in as we waited. When you go into the office there is a kiosk for you to sign in and to indicate why you are there. You can make an appt prior to your visit for many things but not enrolling in Medicare. You are issued a number that pops out of the kiosk and you wait to be called. Apparently your number correlates with the type of service you require. We probably waited 15-18 minutes and then were called up to a booth. The young man assisting us was very professional and polite. It all went very smoothly . I would recommend this location.

I had an awful experience today in the post office. My mail was delayed and because I had informed…read moredelivery, there was a letter from the Department of Treasury. I was waiting for 5 days and decided to come to talk to the supervisor. Also, I wanted finally complain about other people's mail delivered for some reason in my mailbox, I kind tried to say that it could be a problem that my mail was delivered somewhere else. She listened and in a moment came a guy, young athletic. He never introduced himself, started to tell me that I should not talk to him about this issue, rudely interrupted me a several times. I asked for his name and why he does not wear a tag or badge, he said he is going to call police. I think he heard my accent and decided to get rid of a Karen who came to complain. Well, I left and I filed a complaint..not about my missing mail but just attitude. I just wonder is it a new normal to yell and treat someone with police when someone came and ask to do his/her job. Still confused about what happened, it feels surreal, go to ask for mail and suddenly be arrested by police because a tall athletic guy got scared of an Ukrainian girl. Also, wonder if I were a man or not Ukrainian would it still happen?

I came prepared with all documents and waited a long time for a supervisor to decide how to handle my case. I was sent away without being helped properly. I did call Nashville and they confirmed I had done it right and assured me that they'd speak with the Bonny Oaks people. I didn't hold my breath. Lo and behold, 2 hours later, I received a call from Nashville saying they reversed the Bonny Oaks employees and approved my case. I was grateful, but it shouldn't have had to end like that. I want our government offices to be friendly AND competent. They must know what they're doing or be retrained. Sometimes, being friendly just doesn't cut it...especially in government work. I was able to get my application completed and explore man job opportunities by using their computer and one of the staff members assisting me . They had plenty of seating , bathrooms and security. Kids are allowed so that's no excuse for not looking for a job. They help with resume and also offer classes to assist you as well into looking for employment.
