    Great shirt!

I met Marc and Tina the way hundreds of others have met them. I was on a long bike tour and my bike had issues that needed the attention of a professional. Like other reviewers, I was (at first) taken aback by the brusk communication I received. I felt like I walked right into an Elizabeth Strout novel. As I waited for Marc to finish working on a bike, I figured it out. If Tina and Marc would have greeted me with a smile and asked me about my bike tour, I would have talked their ears off. I would have told Marc all about my new Schwalbe tires with their $40.00 tubes etc. etc. Long distance bike tourists can be a lonely sort. When treated with any kindness and curiosity, we can talk for hours about the highs and lows of our trip. Marc & Tina would not get ANY work done. So, as Marc ripped my $40.00 tube out of my 100.00 tire and chucked it in the bin to replace it with a trusty butyl tube, I felt nothing but respect. I was soon on my way. Other customers were being served and served well. Just like the infamous soup guy in NY and Bob of Bob's Well Bred in Los Alamos, Marc and Tina are great at what they do. I, for one, am glad they don't waste energy on congeniality and small talk. They got me rolling. Thank you!

Excellent mechanic. Solid local business despite imperfections. They are good at what they do.

So disappointed. The condescending, rude attitude as others have mentioned was in full view today. No way will we patronize this business.

Apparently it was an inconvenience to have to talk to us. A terrible place for equipment or info. Go to Mendocino.

Do they deliver bicycles? We are planning a trip there and are wondering if they operate bike rentals with a shuttle service to deliver bikes start of coastal trail and pick them up from the end of it or any other good bike trails in the area?

When we arrived the owner, Mark, said he would take a look at our SUV to see if a fit was possible.

i didn't see eye-to-eye with Gravy on some minor points, but have to say after 5 years of riding…read morethem that the wheels Gravy built for me are still perfectly in true and in round and the absolute best riding set i have ever had. i'm no featherweight, and i've had many other wheels built by professional wheel-builders, Tour de France mechanics, and wizards of all kinds. even compared to other wheels i have using the same hubs and rims as my Gravy set, my Gravy wheels stand above the rest, deserving of all those over-used superlatives you always hear; they are laterally rigid and still seemingly magically more supple through road surface irregularities than any i have experienced. i don't know if it's because of the spoke tension, or his practice of truing again a final time after letting them sit at tension overnight or something else, but whatever it is he's doing, it works. the things that i thought odd (aligning the valve hole opposite the hub label instead of so the hub label is viewable through the valve hole, lacing the rear hub outer-pull with the front hub mismatched as inner-pull, and using a contrasting-color nipple next to the valve) all don't seem to have detracted from the primary function of the wheels at all. Gravy's not the quickest or the least expensive, but seemed to be honest about everything we discussed and in my mind was worth every penny. GravyWheels will be my first choice for my next wheel build, and gets my highest recommendation.

Great place to park and walk; dog friendly (dogs must be leashed). Great paved parking, restrooms,…read moredirt/gravel and paved bike trails, many places to take photos and be in nature. Lots of grass, some birds, wildlife plus an excellent place to watch the sun rise. Very clean grounds with trash receptacles throughout. The road that leads north from bathrooms parking area needs an overhaul, many large holes and road is a mix of paved with big dirt potholes. There may be a helicopter land section in the middle of this road/parking area as it's marked as though it is. **not reviewing the dog park** There is a basic dog park, very basic and little dogs could escape. Okay place for supervised, off leash potty breaks for large dogs and leashed little dogs.

I've been here more times than I can count, and it still brings me peace. My kids grew up playing here, climbing rocks, chasing waves, and turning every visit into a treasure hunt for sea glass. These days, the glass is much harder to find what's left is tucked between pebbles and seaweed, polished down by time and tide. But that's part of the fun now: it's not a guarantee, it's a quest. And even if you don't find much glass, the views alone are worth the trip. The walking trails stretch for miles with panoramic views of the Pacific, wildflowers in bloom, and seabirds gliding above the surf. It's accessible, beautiful, and full of moments that make you stop and just breathe. Whether you're a photographer, a hiker, or someone who just needs to reset, this place delivers. Glass Beach may no longer be a sparkling blanket of color, but it remains a symbol of transformation how nature turns damage into beauty. The peace here, the sound of the waves, and the memories it helps create are what really matter. Five stars from someone who keeps coming back. Bring your curiosity, your camera, and your respect for the land. Even without much glass, you'll find something special if you slow down and look.
