Third time it's been two weeks transmission bad again! Each time I had to pay for transmission fluid out of pocket $275.00 second time he said warranty wouldn't pay all the labor so I had to pay $500 plus $275 for fluid! All because he said my maxima has spacers on rims. Total rip off because dealer ship quoted $6,000 for new transmission and I've spent that with this shop on used transmission. Total waste of money. Be careful because I think the transmission is not being replaced just fixed old bad transmission. Each time I took to Nissan dealership and it was in fact all three times another bad transmission each three times!!! Note: Joe said I had warranty but still car isn't working because he says the spacers on rims void warranty but those same spacers was on car when he first got the first transmission!! Here in NC I had to pay a bigger charge for my registration as well as an additional $30 for inspection. (And now for your giggle of the day... I moved to NC (from sales tax free DE & NJ with no sales tax on food & clothing) to NC where the only thing they have not yet found a way to tax is the air I breathe. Triple A called me a tow to come pick up the vehicle my plan originally was to tow my vehicle to my home off post. My husband called me and told me to call Firestone on post to see if they could help me seeing that my vehicle was located around the corner from the Butner Rd location. I reluctantly called Firestone on Butner Rd and spoke to someone named Mike and he told me that if I can get it over there, they would have to take a look at it to see if they can help me and it would be an extra charge if they had to use a different method to get the tire off by me not having the wheel lock key. I asked was it too late to get my car towed over and he said no. The tow truck came got me and my vehicle over to the Butner location at about 5:20pm the location closes at 7pm but now my plan was to drop the vehicle off and come back the next day to check the status. The tow truck driver was taking the vehicle off the back of the flatbed I went into Firestone and ask for Mike the man behind the cash register immediately replied wrong location he works at the Gruber location. My first reaction was what I know I called that location. I even ask so you can't help me here? he had no concern or care what my problem was because he said I was at the wrong location. I was like he could careless so by the time I returned outside the driver completely took my car from the flatbed. I had to tell him the guy on the inside could careless he said I was at the wrong location. The tow driver loaded my vehicle back on the tow truck and we drove over to the Firestone Gruber Rd location. My plan again was to leave the vehicle and return the next day. The tow driver takes the vehicle off while I go inside and ask for Mike again the young guy behind the cash register said Mike was some manager but he did ask what can I help you with ma'am. I tell him the wheel lock issue he goes to get another mechanic and long story short they did could not take the tire off without the factory wheel lock and I got it at this point. There was no we can take a look at the tire tomorrow to see if it needed to be plugged or does it really needed to be changed to a new tire. Long story short Triple A towed the vehicle to my home and I called them drop my vehicle off at a Tire shop in Raeford the shop called me right away and said ma'am we could not take the tire off without the wheel lock key but we did plug the tire for you so you can drive to the dealership to get the wheel lock issue taken care of which is all I needed. (No charge) As a retired service member customer service goes a long way with me. I am not sure what is going on here at Firestone on Fort Bragg, no care no concern for certain customers. THEY DO NOT CARE! I WILL NEVER GO TO EITHER FIRESTONE LOCATION ON FORT BRAGG. I WILL NEVER BUY A TIRE NOR RECOMMEND ANYONE I KNOW TO GO TO EITHER LOCATION. PLEASE BEWARE just because a business is located on a military installation DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL GET TREATED better to me it's worse. If I could give this place a negative star I would. One star is too much. Customer service 0, concern 0. I hope someone on Bragg is reading these reviews and I have read several negative ones.

However, I recently went there to have my alternator and tension belt replaced, and when I picked up my car, it wouldn't start. They told me the battery was just low and gave me a jump. The car ran fine for a day, but the next morning it wouldn't start again, and now the check engine light is on after I jumped it. So now I have to go back because something clearly wasn't done correctly. It's very unfortunate. I just hope they fix it properly this time and don't cause any more issues with my car.
