Not only were there so many hidden fees that were not discussed when signing the contract, but the costumer service was horrific. Each time I asked to speak to a manager each employee told me that they were the manager - that's a lot of managers! Once I spoke to the district manager, I was answered with " Listen, what you're going to do is pay and that's the end of conversation." I've never heard managers settle situations this way, but it's my guess this business is very lenient with managerial titles. The balances were never matching up after my payments and no one ever seemed to communicate within the business, because each person I spoke to seemed clueless about the situation. It was so bad I gave up on the very nice rims and tires, simply because I refused to give my money to these people any longer. Luckily, I was able to find new rims and tires at another, unaffiliated establishment, but to my surprise, they informed me that when my original rims were swapped for the rims given by RimTyme, they took my sensors! When I think back to the day I got the rims, I do remember the employees telling me that my tires didn't come with sensors - which should have been the major red flag. But, being that I was at a supposedly trustable establishment, I believed them and proceeded. I felt pretty naive when I was informed I had been robbed and fooled. I tell everyone to stay away from this place! - stars would be a better rating. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Made an appointment. At the appointment , the tires I selected were out of stock so they used a similar tire but better at no additional cost. They showed me the "upgrade" I was getting. They got the car in the bay at the time my appointment was set for. I watched them work and I know my way around a car and they did everything quickly and by the book. I knew, from taking the car to the dealer, the alloy lug nuts were "swollen". The Ford dealer want $200 to replace what should have been a recall. Discount tire had a little difficulty taking off these "swollen" lug nuts and brought them to my attention again. They replaced them all for less then $50. Discount tire had all 4 new tires on in 40 minutes. Superior work, Superior customer service! read more

Excellent customer service - second to none! Lamar was cordial, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Stopped in before our vehicle was towed in to see how long the wait would be. He assured me it would be an hour after arrival. While I was out to meet the van, and on my way back in, he took the initiative to follow up and call me back. I cannot even remember the last time I've had customer service like this. We opted to leave it overnight and pick it up in the morning. Chris called us before close because they were able to fix our tires at no cost (thanks to the certificates we purchased), and also provided great customer service. Today (Oct 19 2019), I brought in my lawn mower tires as a last ditch effort to get them mounted (couldn't do it myself). 1 Star -- Worst Experience Ever at Thomas Tire & Automotive (Southern Pines/Aberdeen)…read more This has been my third time coming back to this shop for the same problem, and I'm beyond done with their carelessness and lack of professionalism. First visit: I paid for an alignment and balance, but my truck still shook around 40 mph and the steering wheel was off-center. Second visit: I came back to have them redo it, but they said it was "too late in the day" and refused to do the alignment. Third visit (today): I brought it back again hoping they'd finally make it right. Instead, they took my truck for a drive without even asking my permission, and when they came back, there was a strong burnt brake smell. I quickly realized they had driven it with the parking brake still engaged. When I confronted the tech, he said my brakes were sticking -- which is completely false because the truck has brand new calipers and pads installed professionally. I told him the smell was clearly from the rear because the e-brake was left on, and he literally said, "It doesn't matter." That comment alone tells you everything about how little care they have for customers' vehicles. After all that, my alignment is still off, my truck still shakes at 40 mph, and my steering wheel is still crooked. I've now wasted three trips, time, and gas, and they still couldn't do the job right. I'll never bring my truck back here again, and I strongly recommend others avoid this location. Completely unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful.
