Beautiful park with lots of parking, shelters to eat under, and beach! Pretty low key beach with soft sands and clean water. We walked for a mile with uninterrupted views of the ocean. There are several bathroom options although the main ones were closed and they had temporary ones set up. These were pretty stinky so pack your mask and some spray if you must. $6 per car admission but they take cash or credit. We will definitely be back!

Fort Pierce Inlet State Park is small but beautiful State Park, it's unique in its offerings with a variety of things to do, a small beach is nestled along a man-made jetty that wasn't exactly installed to fish off of but there were a number of hardcore fishermen that crawled the uneven slippery surfaces to get that perfect spot to cast a line into the rushing waters of the Inlet while other challenge the Inlet on their jet skis, fishing and sail boats, I love these inlets that connect the Intracoastal Waterway to the ocean up and down the east coast of Florida and if you happen to be here when the tide changes its really something to see, the massive volume of water that pour through is phenomenal. This park offers recreational opportunities for the locals as well as for those of us that are just passing through. It's was pretty clear during our visit that it's a great place to spent the day relaxing, the parking is adequate but the walk to the beach can be quite long if you have to park in the over-flow lot so you may want to bring along a wagon or lots of friends to help you tote everything you'll need for a day at the beach. There are some beautiful hiking trails and the park boost to be the home to a variety of birds and wildlife including bobcats - although we didn't see any on this visit.

Gorgeous spot on the inlet! Very relaxing day watching the boats, paddle boarding and fishing. Great value for the $6 entry fee.

Great waves for surfing. Plenty of parking. Beautiful blue waters! Bathrooms, picnic tables, pavilions. Not too busy. Enjoyed our time! Worth the cost of admission to the park.

If this park could open the gate on time it'd be a lot better, they consistently open the gate 10-15 minutes late everytime I go.

If you are a SURFER this is the place to go. I really like the open beach. Lots of parking.

The park is open 8 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year and the cost is $2 per vehicle payable in a box on the honor system. The more than one mile beach in this park provides a safe habitat for wildlife like the threatened and endangered loggerhead, Atlantic green, and leatherback sea turtles who nest on the beach during the spring and summer. While this beach is popular with nesting sea turtles, people love it too. Swimmers, surfers, snorkelers, anglers, and sunbathers flock here for unspoiled beach recreation. Park amenities include a restroom, picnic pavilion, and shower station. This is the perfect spot for a quieter beach day free from crowds. This part of Fort Pierce was once a naval training base during WWII where sailors practiced with high-explosive rockets, bombs, and underwater demolitions. It is important to note that underwater obstacles left behind by amphibious warfare exercises are still being recovered to this day.

The sand and water here is absolutely amazing, so on this beautiful Saturday with temperatures in the mid 80's there's no other conclusion I can come up with. There were only six other people on the beach when I pulled into the parking lot, seems a little odd so maybe it's the mere fact it's a State Park although I didn't see any Park Rangers to collect the fee, only a small money box attached to a post. The dunes are filled with native grasses, and the two paths leading to the beach are short so packing a few chairs and a cooler is a breeze. I can't make the claim that this is the absolute best beach in the area but seriously are there really any bad beaches - clean water, silky sand, and no crowds can't say I need much more than that...
