We had a great time on Valentine's Day. You can tell the employees love their jobs. They're super friendly and they took our pictures (with the good angles for the girlies btw). The vibe is very light and fun. My only "complaint" if you could call it that, is that the axes and throwing stars should be painted a bright color so they're easier to find in the dark/neon setting. Parking was difficult as they did not have their own parking lot. I found a little difficulty finding the entrance as there were several other businesses in the same building. The facility is clean and well lit. The staff is over the top wonderfully friendly and helpful. I got an extended lesson on throwing axes (hatchets) and the gentleman was patient. Just to start, we are horrible at axe throwing. LOL! HOWEVER, we had fun! We went one day in the middle of the week, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. It was perfect for us, but I could definitely see how it could get pretty loud if it were a busy night. The only drawback, I think, would be the lack of a bar or food. Not that we want to get sloshed and them throw sharp things, but really, you work up a good thirst. There is a vending machine, but maybe some appetizer type things would be awesome, too. Extremely misleading information on their website. I inquired about the mobile axe throwing set up for the adults at my daughter's first birthday party. On their website it states starting at $499 for 2 hours of throwing. For a small event you'd think it'd be around the advertised price. Got a quote for $300 more than what their website advertised. Was looking forward to renting them out, but the severe price difference was shocking. They claimed that $499 was the retainer they charged for large events. So clearly it doesn't start at $499 whatsoever if $499 is a retainer! They should really update their website with accurate information because it currently seems like a bait and switch situation. read more

We had so much fun here! I made reservations for our party of 6 from 5-7 on a Tuesday. We were the only group out of 2 there. Axe throwing is for all ages, and is 37262x funnier than bowling for our group! We were a group of mid 20-year-olds accompanied by my parents in their 60s. It was a great time for all! You can use one or two hands, and strength doesn't play a factor nearly as much as technique. There are lines of tape on the ground, both for safety and to guide you. The staff was friendly and regularly checked up on us. They sharpened a dull axe for us when requested and also helped my mom cheat and hammer her axe into the bullseye for a money shot. There's water available in a cooler. BYOB and wine. There's a gas station across the street for libations. The brewery next door will be able to legally sell their beer to-go starting in September 2019! My advice is that when there are only a couple groups, don't place us right next to each other so that we can have a little more space when there is so much to go around. read more

One of the most unique experiences I never knew existed! My middle brother and I were visiting baby brother in Fort Worth. Since we were staying in his hood, he made all these plans for places to eat, drink, and hang out. FW Axe Factory was our last stop. Fortunately they had a reservation available for 11:00 pm. I'm really shocked that somewhere like this is dog friendly but luckily they are. I brought my husky puppy from California, and it was WAY past his bedtime, but he stuck it out. Amidst the loud music and yelling humans drinking beer, we had a blast... he was just hanging out by the water cooler. Haha. I love how quick and easy the process was. We were brought in, paid, then given best practices for throwing the axes. We took turns in our "lane" for about an hour... whew I got tired after awhile. The wooden boards got pretty messed up, probably because our shift was so late in the evening. It was fun, though. This place is super chill, and everyone around us seemed to have a great time. Excellent spot for photos and videos. Come here for a date night or friends or family gathering. Bring some beer and apparently your dog. It's a little pricey but totally worth the experience. Ooooo I've been waiting to try axe throwing for awhile. Like awhile....ANNNNND I love it. It's super affordable, real laid back. When we entered this establishment the gentlemen were so nice. They helped us find our party. Afterwards, they explained the proper way to throw an axe/hatchet and yadda yadda.Then, it was time to have fun. The fun included byob and byof, 2 hours, 2 axes, and a whole lotta body effort. Honestly, it took me the full 2 hours until I was able to get the axe to stick. It was so much fun though and a lil workout. I didn't even have to go to the gym today honestly, because throwing those axes was all the workout that I needed. My husband and I took a trip to Fort Worth recently and decided to spend an hour throwing axes - we have done axe throwing before but not here. They allowed you to bring your own food and drink, which is awesome, but the boards were pretty worn down and there were big gaps and chips in the wood. It was about $60 for an hour for two of us, and then we brought in a couple of beers as well. They also were nice about teaching us about techniques and different games and scoring. But my party was fine and I decided to make reservations online. Arrived to the place. It's right across Martin House Brewery. Limited parking, they have parking across the street near the park. It's BYOB no hard liquor. I made reservation for 2 separate large groups so we could have time to throw the axes. If you have a group you'll get 2 lanes, so we had 4 lanes total. It was hot in the building.. no A/C just giant fans. It helped a little but in this Texas summer heat you'll need more. You will sweat some or a lot! Fun activity. But 2 hours was a bit too long. Our group would of been fine with just an hour I believe but an hour with 1-3 ppl was $25 (again kinda pricey). I still do it's kind of expensive just to throw axes at some wood that they painted to make look like darts. We were the last party of the night and my party broke some of wood with their axes, they just told us to move to another lane, and didn't put up a new board. But it is cheaper than the ones in Dallas. read more

(Bonus: there is a brewery in the same parking lot). The staff is very friendly and go over everything with you before you begin.
