    Ax throwing

Fun but exhausting! An hour is just the right amount of time. Loved this experience! Parking is ok you'll deff find something. Inside it's small but placed just right for your event. We had a lot of fun! They teach you how to throw the ax if needed. Overall great experience!

They don't serve food or drinks here so you can bring your own, I think there's a vending machine in the corner. If you wear open toe shoes like I did, they have crocs with new socks that they let you use with no extra charges. Small place but everyone really friendly. I would definitely book 1 hour, there's no time stamp I think people just leave because they're exhausted from throwing axes

Just to start, we are horrible at axe throwing. LOL! HOWEVER, we had fun! We went one day in the middle of the week, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. It was perfect for us, but I could definitely see how it could get pretty loud if it were a busy night. The only drawback, I think, would be the lack of a bar or food. Not that we want to get sloshed and them throw sharp things, but really, you work up a good thirst. There is a vending machine, but maybe some appetizer type things would be awesome, too. But really, it's a great time for either a date night or some family fun.

"We get asked this all the time" clearly something's wrong then!

Extremely misleading information on their website. I inquired about the mobile axe throwing set up for the adults at my daughter's first birthday party. On their website it states starting at $499 for 2 hours of throwing. For a small event you'd think it'd be around the advertised price. Got a quote for $300 more than what their website advertised. Was looking forward to renting them out, but the severe price difference was shocking. They claimed that $499 was the retainer they charged for large events. So clearly it doesn't start at $499 whatsoever if $499 is a retainer! They should really update their website with accurate information because it currently seems like a bait and switch situation.

We had so much fun here! I made reservations for our party of 6 from 5-7 on a Tuesday. We were the only group out of 2 there. Axe throwing is for all ages, and is 37262x funnier than bowling for our group! We were a group of mid 20-year-olds accompanied by my parents in their 60s. It was a great time for all! You can use one or two hands, and strength doesn't play a factor nearly as much as technique. There are lines of tape on the ground, both for safety and to guide you. The staff was friendly and regularly checked up on us. They sharpened a dull axe for us when requested and also helped my mom cheat and hammer her axe into the bullseye for a money shot. There's water available in a cooler. BYOB and wine. There's a gas station across the street for libations. The brewery next door will be able to legally sell their beer to-go starting in September 2019! My advice is that when there are only a couple groups, don't place us right next to each other so that we can have a little more space when there is so much to go around.

First time axe throwing and we had a blast. Lexi walked us through all the rules and showed us the different ways to throw. She was available the whole time and offered to help us out if we were having a hard time. We got two hours which was plenty of time to warm up and play several games with 6 people. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I took a trip to Fort Worth recently and decided to spend an hour throwing axes - we have done axe throwing before but not here. They allowed you to bring your own food and drink, which is awesome, but the boards were pretty worn down and there were big gaps and chips in the wood. It was about $60 for an hour for two of us, and then we brought in a couple of beers as well. They also were nice about teaching us about techniques and different games and scoring. It was a great time, just wish the boards were switched out more frequently.

Very fun experience. We were here for our good friends birthday! Cat was very helpful and awesome! We loved that it was BYOB! We will def be back! :)

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

First, the air conditioning situation was unacceptable. While setting up earlier in the day, all the AC units were functioning fine. But by the time our event started at 5:45 p.m., the venue started getting noticeably warmer. By 7:30 p.m., it was unbearably hot. We realized that only two of the AC units were actually running, despite there being multiple units around the venue, each controlled by 4 different remotes. No matter what we tried, the remotes would not turn the other units on. On top of that, two of the AC unit/fans were leaking, which our guests complained about throughout the evening. There were PUDDLES of water everywhere by the end of the night. We attempted to contact the owner, Monica, multiple times, and she finally responded after several attempts--far too late to resolve the issue. The heat got so bad that guests were leaving the venue to cool off in their cars before trying to come back in. Many left by 10 p.m., unable to enjoy the event. I was incredibly embarrassed. I spent a lot of money on this venue expecting my guests to have a good time, and they did not. Second, the bartender situation was completely unprofessional. We hired the bartender through the venue, and later found out she's related to the owner (which would've been fine--if she had done her job). My guests told me she disappeared for almost an hour, and one of my own guests had to step behind the bar and serve drinks. I later found out the bartender was outside "taking a break" because it was too hot. A 15-minute break is one thing, but vanishing for an hour while getting paid hourly is absolutely ridiculous. To top it off, here's a helpful tip: if you rent this venue, bring your own trash bags--even if you've paid a cleaning fee. Apparently, that doesn't include basic supplies. Bottom line: This place is not worth the money, time, or stress. Poor climate control, poor communication, and poor staffing made for a miserable night. I will never return, and I do not recommend this venue to anyone planning a special event.

First, this is not an all-inclusive venue. Many items are charged separately, including linens, use of the TV, AV equipment, and even certain rooms like the back room. These additional costs can add up quickly, so I recommend asking for a full breakdown of fees in advance. I also want to mention the policy regarding security officers. When I booked, I was told the officer requirement would be at the manager's discretion. I communicated multiple times that my event would end by 6 PM. However, I was still required to pay for an officer through 10 PM, even though the event ended much earlier. While I understand policies are in place, this was unexpected and felt unfair based on prior communication. One policy to be aware of is that open flames are not allowed. I was able to adjust without issue, but it's something to plan for ahead of time. Overall, the space itself is nice, but I strongly recommend getting clear, written confirmation of all fees, policies, and requirements before booking to avoid surprises.
