    Cabinet For Two ..

I 100% recommend this company! My dog had a tumor underneath the base of his tail, and needed his anal glands removed. Dr. Dean and his team constantly kept me updated, gave me a complete care sheet on what to do afterwards, and overall just went above and beyond in keeping me in the loop and making me feel comfortable. They even updated me with photographs!!

By the third visit, Dr. Podriza--who is probably one of the kindest people on the planet--took the time to really look closely at the X-rays and noticed something that needed more attention. We originally thought it might have just been something minor from a nail trim, but our baby ended up needing to stay overnight. The next morning, Dr. Biquet came in, did additional X-rays, and figured out exactly what was going on. You should have seen her face when she solved it--it was such a moment of relief. It was truly their teamwork, attention to detail, and how much they genuinely care that made all the difference. I really feel like they saved my dog, and I'm so grateful. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

They took one look at him and knew he was bad off. They immediately took my baby and rushed him to the back and begin working on him. They allowed me to stand there and observe everything they did to my King. I am a medical person and I am familiar with the processes of triage patients with emergencies. The physician performed a sonogram and began to tell me my options of care. I had to make the most difficult decision in my life. I decided not to be selfish and to have my King put to rest. This facility not only comfort me, but my family as well. They gave us a room and told us to take our time, they offered refreshments and continually checked on us. They just went out of their way with compassion and concern. I have never experienced this type of Customer Service in my entire life. It made me and my family feel heard and understood about our wishes. Once my family completed our goodbyes and they put our King to rest, they comfort my family, some even shared tears with us. They gave us things to remember our baby boy King that I will cherish forever. This hospital will always hold a special place in my heart. This is a place that I would love to work at and be proud to say that I worked there because each and every person who works in that building are Gods angels, and truly care about the animals that they treat. I will always be grateful. I know this was God's plan because it all went perfectly. Yes, I left without a dog, but I now have a new family that I would cherish with my other pets. Thank you again to each and every one of the staff who comfort my family, who gave my comforting hugs and who helped my King. I pray that this establishment continue to employee such phenomenal people who I believe are Angels. I would recommend this pet hospital anyone will listen. I am forever grateful.

Continued....i contacted Susie on 9.1.26 to find out why I havent heard back from her about the ER…read morerefund and why I was being still being charged for one of the wellness plans, which I assumed was Penelope's. Susie advised that she was processing the refund for the ER and that I would need to contact the wellness plan to cancel Penelope's plan. Didn't understand why I would need to call the wellness plan, but I did. They would not cancel and told me to reach out to the Banfield Customer Care Team, which I did. I left a message explaining the situation. Message said I should receive contact within 3-5 business days. I did receive a call from Susie as a follow up saying the check for the ER visit was being processed and that she wanted to discuss the charges for Penelopes plan. I explained to her again that my initial request included Penelopes plan to be cancelled as well cause there was NO WAY that we'd bring our pets back to Banfield Watauga or any Banfield. September 3rd, I get a call from Susie saying she has set a reminder to follow up with me every week on the progress of my refund and that she is working with her corporate office on getting Penelope's plan cancelled. Today is September 13th, have I heard from Susie? NO, I have not. At this point this is beyond ridiculous. Not only are the Vets incompetent, but so is their office manager. Several calls made to Susie went unanswered, then she would call back with an excuse of a family issue. To add, I never heard back from the customer care team. At this time, I believe I've been more than patient with this matter and NOW, not only do I want Penelopes plan cancelled immediately, I need the almost $1000 spent on Sebastians first visit refunded, I want the wellness plan charge on my credit card from July 27th refunded. I want the refund check from the ER, processed immediately and sent express mail. If your company/manager would have kept their word and followed up with me accordingly I would have kept my word and not posted these reviews. However, this is beyond a poor situation and hopefully everyone that reads this review will think twice about taking their pet to any/all Banfield locations.

We were so grateful for how well we were treated. The place is so clean, it smells good, just an overall great experience. The news we got was devastating, but the doctor was kind when he explained it to us, very thorough. Hopes trachea is severely collapsed now. She's had a collapsed trachea her whole life, but it's gotten to the point where it's unbearable. We have hard choices to make, but the fact that we were able to get her into the ER so fast really helped a horrible situation last night. They gave us meds to go home with that relaxes her trachea. It will keep her comfortable. Again, very impressed with The Parc staff and knowledge.

Dr then threatened to call the cops cause I took his picture when I asked what was taking so long to be seen. I left after 40 minutes and went to a different er where my cat was seen immediately. During the exam, the attending vet asked to trim some hair to get a clearer view, which I had no issue with. However, when she brought the clippers near my dog's face, my pup--who is typically calm but understandably nervous due to the irritation--became a little uneasy. I offered to help gently hold her, as she is not aggressive and the redness was visible. To my surprise, the vet suggested sedation. I was shocked by this recommendation, especially considering this was a simple visual inspection--not a surgical or invasive procedure. While some medication was prescribed and we were advised to follow up with our regular vet if symptoms continued, I left feeling uneasy and unsatisfied with the visit. In addition, the consultation did not take place in a private exam room, I guess they are see you out in the open once you walk in. Thankfully no other animals present at the time, but I'd prefer a room. Because of my concerns, we took her to another emergency clinic in Southlake later that day. There, the veterinarian was able to examine her thoroughly without issue, and we left confident in the treatment plan. Unfortunately, this meant we incurred additional costs unnecessarily, as we did not feel the care provided at VEG met the standard expected. Given the circumstances I should be refunded at minimum for the consult.

I had previously taken my dog to her regular veterinarian but unfortunately the $$$ in treatment she received there didn't resolve the problem. My dog is actually HEALING now thanks to the caring staff here. Keep up the great work! Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, there is not an option for 0 stars!…read more I brought my dog to this clinic because his neck had become severely swollen and infected overnight. From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed convinced it was cancer simply because he had a history of cancer as a puppy. Without pursuing other likely causes, I was told there was essentially nothing they could do. Even the oncologist on site agreed with that assessment. I asked if it could possibly be something else, such as a bite or infection, because that's what it looked like to me. That possibility was dismissed. I was told surgery was an option but not guaranteed and would have to be done by a different doctor and would cost thousands of dollars. They also told me his blood work suggested kidney failure and implied he only had about six months to live regardless. The impression I left with was that my options were to keep him comfortable until the end or consider euthanasia. Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and sought a second opinion with Alvarado Animal Clinic. They immediately believed it looked like a bite or abscess. They drained it, put in a drain tube and packed the wound, and within a month it had completely healed. They also found no evidence that my dog was in kidney failure. Today he is healthy, happy, and doing great. I understand that medicine isn't always black and white, but I was disappointed that such serious conclusions were reached without fully exploring other, treatable possibilities. If I had accepted the original diagnosis without seeking another opinion, the outcome for my dog could have been heartbreaking. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. I strongly encourage anyone facing a serious diagnosis to seek a second opinion before making life-changing decisions.
