The staff was very caring and supportive when the diagnosis wasn't good, as was Dr. Thompson who was excellent at patient care- both me and my kitty. I was pleasantly surprised by my bill afterwards also, though there were costs out of their control (labs) the in-house fees were very reasonable. We will continue to be seen here as long as they open their doors! BTW, my Worf the Clingon kitty is doing well and is expected to make a 100% recovery from FIP, until recently a terminal condition. Thank you TVS!

I recently moved back to the area so I was a bit hesitant to see a large animal vet as our new doctor and I assure you, I was wrong. Dr. Thompson is incredibly knowledgeable, caring and thorough. He is definitely not "just another small town vet". He sets the bar high for any other vet! (But hopefully he keeps us on as patients --2 cats-- so we won't have to worry again!!) I'm in my 50s and have always had a cat. I can unquestionably say, Dr. Thompson's office is the best vet experience we have ever had! Everyone from the office was wonderful, from the two phone calls prior, the entire visit, and putting my mind at ease throughout the process. Lucy is doing good and we felt incredibly well taken care of by the entire team!! I have already recommended him to my sister and niece who were looking for a vet for their dogs, and highly recommend this power team to anyone for animals of any size. As for my two girls, I am posting proof of how relaxed they felt not long after getting home. It typically takes a couple of days for them to be this relaxed after a visit. Dr. Thompson and his office truly took care of us with as little stress as possible! EXTRA INFO: The office is in an easy to get to location on hwy199, between Springtown and Azle, with entrances/exits from both 199 and Newsom Mound Road. There are safely accessible crossovers to get to/from the office via 199. (BIG ++ in the area!) The parking lot has plenty of space for parking and turning around. Plenty of space inside for you and your pet(s) as well.

My once beautiful pet came back after a 2 week stay with kennel cough, a severe infection that can kill him, 23 pounds lighter from being neglected, 7 puncture wounds - from what the owner said - was from a "60 lb, $2500 German Shepard who got the best of him." We left our pet with specific instructions to Billy Bob (or whatever his name is) not to be left with or around other pets due to his breed and BOTH owners agreed however, they were incapable and took no accountability. In fact, they said they reviewed the cameras they can't see that ANYTHING took place. After a $600 vet bill, my pet is traumatized and being forced to take pills and medications due to this place. Had to buy additional food to try to get him back up to his standard weight. They told us that we bought him there WITH the cough however, he was boarded with them the weekend before we dropped him off, with only 2 days in between. I guess since the husband-owner had a heart attack during my pets boarding, they were unable to ensure the safety of the pets there, feed them, or give them water. Go at your own risk, if I could give -10 stars I would they don't deserve the 1 Yelp makes you give, this place is trash. Expect your pet not be tended to, nor will it be safe. It is the Jerry Springer version of a boarding place. If you want to win a stupid prize, take your pet to this place. Very hard and difficult lesson learned - we only asked them to cover the vet bill, to which they denied . Never again trust FB for reviews, this place is the pure pits.

When we dropped the pup off had to wait for someone to come out of the gate to get in, they did not answer the calls made to them. When we picked the pup up he was wet as well as his kennel and all his toys and bedding; also had to wait for 30 minutes for them to open the gate, they were not on time for us to pick him up. The lady seemed to be overwhelmed, said the pup played in the water? everything was soaked. believe he was kept in his kennel we brought. Will not take pup back there, hate to write a negative review after all we had seen on line but our experience was awful.
