3.5 sadly even thought I love the food and ambiance here. Waited 30 minutes at the bar after showing up on time for my reservation. We were uncomfortable by the bar corner since there were no open seats and dogging waiters and waitresses. After we sat everything went smooth and service was great! However I could never forgive them for serving NUTELLA with the gelato. Are you serious NUTELLA?! Like please this place is high value and deserves something better than Nutella. I was sooo shocked when the waiter said that like no way is our $40 gelato accompanied by bottom of the barrel chocolate lol. Nutella is just full of disgusting oils and filler ingredients I avoid at all costs. The gelato needed something else because honestly the flavor was watery and that I cannot forgive. Everything else was 100/10 except gelato and the Bottom of the barrel NUTELLA like be soooo for real. Their porn star martini was also so disappointing. Idk what flavor was in there but it didn't taste like passionfruit at all more like something else that is fruity and did not come with a shot of Prosecco so is it really a porn star martini?

You will pay Miami Beach prices but the restaurant is good, and exceptional depending on what you order. Their bread, salads, pasta, exceptional. The fish, at least the Branzino we tried, not so great. Service excellent. We arrived after walking almost five miles on the hot and humid boardwalk from our hotel, so I was in shorts. The hostess informed us that shorts were not allowed per their dress code, but made an exception. We had the octopus plancha appetizer, mango and avocado "Forte de MArmi" salad, both excellent. The octopus portion was quite large. She then had a pasta dish (Truffle cacao and pepe) with shaved truffles, very rich, excellent, and nice presentation as served from a carved bowl table side. Unfortunately my Branzino was almost on the cusp of fishy and I would have sent it back, but just ate it anyway partly because the manager had taken the time to talk to us quite a while and given us personalized service so I overlooked the deficiency. The fish was over salted too. For dessert we had the pan cotta, light and very good. Note, 20% service charge is added automatically. In all a pleasant experience.

Can't say enough positive things about this high class, high end Italian oasis in Miami Beach. Forget dei marmi is known for 3 things: 1. Truffle cacio e Pepe 2. Pistachio ice cream/gelato 3. Incredibly long waits Love this spot but can't give 5 stars due to the limited menu (vegan/vegetarian options were few) and the 40 minute wait we had after our reservations start time. Will definitely return to dine among celebrities and go upstairs to Sopra for a drink! Also- the chairs are super uncomfortable ???

This was the PERFECT date night spot! The vibes here are romantic and intimate, we stopped in for dinner so the candles and flowers at each table really set the mood. Service wise this was a 10/10 experience! Our wait-staff was on top of every detail and we were not left needing a thing at any point. The food was DELICIOUS! The truffle pasta is a must try and for all the tiramisu lovers you have to get the table side tiramisu! I will 100% be coming again because it was so amazing!

What a fun ~Dei~ getting to check out Forte Dei Marmi! We came here to celebrate Mother's Day and it was a pleasant and sunny day to be at this half-open establishment. For appetizers, we had the baby artichoke salad and the octopus. The artichoke salad was so fresh and light, and I absolutely loved the avocado on the bottom. The octopus totally blew me away, I think it's one of the best I've had, and the size is plentiful too. For my entree I had the truffle cacio e pepe, which I enjoyed. The seafood pasta was tasty and they were not shy with the lobster at all. As for the rigatoni bolognese, this was a disappointment. It was not my dish but I tried it and, while the flavor was great, the pasta needed to be cooked longer for sure. Lastly, for dessert, I had the tiramisu which is prepared tableside. While it was a cute concept, I feel like it lacked flavor and sweetness so it let me down. Maybe it was the guy's first time making it lol. Further, the service was great and the food came out relatively quickly. Overall, I enjoyed my time and especially loved the appetizers.

This is the most overrated restaurant. Considering the prices and our bill, our dining experiences was lackluster and mediocre, from preparedness for our reservation and food. We were a 5 top seated at a 4 top table although we had reservations and larger tables were available. The had to bring out a table extension because the table was small and crowded. Additionally we had to wait 15 minutes standing in the middle of the restaurant with no direction from staff for them to set up our table. Topping it off, all of pastas came out cold. And then charged us for a birthday dessert which we thought this brought out as a gesture, guess not! The only saving grace was our main server/sommelier who was excellent. But you can tell that the majority of service staff is not on par with him. Honestly just go to Carbone or Cipriani instead of here.

Review of Forte Dei Marmi. Let's dive into the food, the bread was really hard and felt old maybe because it was close to closing time, but it was not good. Appetizers- The stuffed zucchini blossom were amazing. Octopus really good. Branzino tartare was so good, it taste like a very good ceviche. Linguine & clam sauce - decent Oysters way over priced for their teeny size. But what I really went there for was the Truffle Cacio E Pepe-Basically the pasta in the cheese bowl with truffles on top. It was good, nothing special, way too expensive for the taste and the portion size. The three stars of the show was the La Vie En Rose cocktail OMG truly, truly amazing, Pistachio gelato again truly amazing and the chocolate tortino. 6.0 out of 10

Great pasta, I had the zucchini pasta. The atmosphere was very romantic and love the vibe of this intimate venue. The staff's service was on point, very attentive which is appreciated when go out to celebrate any special event.

the truffle cacio e pepe was delicious, both rich & creamy. i definitely recommend getting this dish if you choose to dine here. everything arrived promptly, making the evening very seamless

Visited on a rainy day with a friend for a cute bridesmaid proposal dinner. Staff is a bit on the unbothered side (unless you are a 'member' whatever that means) so prepare for a wait even if you have a reservation. Ended up waiting at the bar for almost an hour in heels with no bar stool. Once we were seated the service was good and all the food was incredible. The truffle cacio de Pepe is unbelievable and the giant pistachio ice cream was magical (definitely way too much for 2 people so do that with a group.) Fortunately, the food quality is worth the headache so even if the hostess body slams me at the door, I will be back. Definitely worth the hype.

Stopped by to eat here since this was directly across the street from our hotel in south beach. The ambiance here is amazing! Very high end with great service and a nice warm low light atmosphere. The service is outstanding and the servers will take care of you with top notch help. The food was really good tasting and had good overall flavor. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice fancy dinner with good overall food!

The service was great, and the truffle cacio pepe was amazing but was a little to heavy it had a lot of cream The bolognese was ok. The ambiance however wasn't very nice it was way smaller than I expected and wasn't nice enough for the price.

Went here for valentine's day! The ambiance was super cute. Pornstar martinis were the highlight of the night. Honestly, dishes were not worth the amount of money we paid in terms of flavor and novelty, but it was all okay food. Pistachio gelato was good - maybe not $40 good but it was good. This is a nice place for date night in terms of location/vibes/drinks but if you want really good food, spend your money elsewhere.

We were whisked inside to the intimate, dimly lit interior with a DJ table tastefully tucked away in the back of the space. Service was welcoming but overall, not quite as warm and attentive as I've experienced at other places in town. We started off with the Turkish Manti Dumplings, which were the standout of the night. The complexity yet restraint of flavor, balancing indescribable buttery, roasted, earthy notes with a touch of umami and subtle tanginess from the yogurt. The Mezze Sampler was a nice option for trying three of the dips. All very tasty, but I've had slightly better elsewhere. The Sweet Jeweled rice was the other standout with flavor and textural variety that made each bite pop. I found the Roasted Brussels Sprouts undercooked and lacking the same level of flavor as the other plates. The weakest dish of the evening. The Grilled Whole Bronzino got top marks from the meat eaters at the table. Overall, 4/5 stars for a delicious meal but with tough competition around town limiting my ability to hit that 5.

The gyro itself consisted of a bland (Tzatziki?) sauce that struggled to find my taste buds. Lamb (typically) has a gamey/slightly sweet flavor; these cuts seemed to be found from behind their refrigerator, (not from inside).
