I went in to the store wanting to pay someone to install a subwoofer. Kurt listened to my system and not only talked me out of a profitable install(because I didn't need it), he: did a minor repair to my door panel, discovered my new speakers were installed without crossovers(very bad), and my whole system was powered by the tiniest of wires which should power a led on the dash. And he gave me all that advice at no cost, while foolishly thinking I would just drive off. I came back a few weeks later and had all my issues fixed, as well as two more found during the repairs. My little truck sounds AMAZING now, the price was more than fair, and I now have my favorite(and only) audio professional from here on out. read more

I do not recommend Fortuna Audio Concepts. Two weeks ago they installed a new stereo deck in my vehicle. They rescheduled my appointment to have me come in the day before (which was fine), so I dropped my car off and it wasn't done until after closing. Since they were closed, I felt that they were rushing and no one even showed me how to work the stereo. When I got to my car, the screen was completely crooked, it was missing two pieces around the vents, and I had no idea how to connect the Apple CarPlay (the whole reason I wanted a new deck). I went back in and asked for help. Someone came out to look but didn't know how to connect the Apple CarPlay. They told me to bring the car back the following day to fix the screen, missing pieces, and the CarPlay. I picked up my car the following day and the screen was still crooked. They finally showed me how to connect the Apple CarPlay (through a cord in the glovebox that no one showed me). I told them that the screen was still crooked so they took the car back for a third time to fix it. An hour later, my screen wasn't perfect but I decided to take it home. Later that night, I tried to make a phone call from my stereo and the speakers weren't working. I called the following day and they told me to bring it in the next week, although the employee made it seem like there was something wrong with my phone, not anything on their end. The next week they fixed the phone call issue, which was their fault, as well as installing a cord for the Apple CarPlay, which I do appreciate them doing. Ultimately, the screen was still crooked after all of this and I called again, hoping it would finally be fixed. They told me they wouldn't be able to look at it until the end of the week. I called another local car stereo company to look at it and they fixed it perfectly. Fortuna Audio Concepts was inattentive to detail with the stereo and I felt that my concerns as a paying customer were dismissed. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

It is great to have Fortuna Audio Concepts in the town of Fortuna. The other day I stopped by to see about having them look at my backup camera that stopped working after I had work done on my Truck. No waiting, it was a quick fix. While there I found that they also have a Computer/ Cell Phone Technician on site. So I brought my laptop in the next day. Within five minutes it was fixed.
