Delivery was slightly long (45 min) but they told me it would be ~40 min so it was expected. Despite the looks that my driver went through some tokyo drifting along the way, cause my food was pushed far to one side and some of the sauces in the boxes were coming out, delivery fee was only $1! The food itself impressed me. Egg drop soup, mongolian beef, orange chicken, pork chow mein were all good. Be careful though, "chow mein" is not actually noodles. I think they were trying to tell me that while I was ordering but I had a hard time understanding them so I was surprised to see ZERO noodles just vegetables. Luckily it still tasted good. Pricing is pretty cheap; however, your meat portion is SMALL. I had about 7 pieces of mongolian beef #sad. The orange chicken portion was decent though. This review is to serve as a reminder to myself to never order from this place ever again, no matter what! I placed an order tonight at 7:43 PM and it said it would be delivered at 8:37 PM. By 8:57 I had not received my order and so I called to ask about it. The person who took my call was very abrasive and would barely let me get a word in. When I finally got a chance to give my address, she simply said, it's on it's way, and hung up on me. at 9:43 it was delivered. The food was cold, as it had obviously been sitting around for a while. When the delivery driver brought it (45 minutes after I called asking where it was), he apologized and said they were very busy... yet I never once got a call from them about it. The two soups we ordered, after I heated them back up, were okay, but the "honey chicken" I ordered looked nothing like any honey chicken I'd ever had anywhere else in my life and was completely inedible to me. I took one bite and threw the rest away. I absolutely will never give this place my business ever again, no matter how desperate I get. read more

I never order from any other Chinese restaurant in town. I'm am a fortune garden Parton through and through. I'm 30 years old and I can't remember a time before fortune garden. Their food is absolutely DELICIOUS and comes in very hefty portions. Delivery is usually pretty quick depending in the time of day. I've never had a complaint about them. read more

A very quirky and retro Chinese joint. The lack of patrons caused some initial concern, but that was alleviated when the food was delivered. It was excellent! Had wonton soup, mongolian beef, and pork fried rice. Nice sized portions and very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back! read more

My grandmother and I ordered delivery a few weeks ago I was informed by the lady on the phone it would be a 45 minute wait. No problem. A half hour later I get a phone call from the same lady asking if I would mind coming to pick it up because they are super busy. Yeah sure its only 10 minutes or less away. I drive there. Wait. Wait. And wait. Just to be told that my food had gone out on delivery it should be there in 5 minutes. I'm already mad from waiting and now you tell me my food isn't even here. Its been almost 2 hours already. I go home. No food. Call fortune garden but they insist that it should be there in a few minutes. 15 minutes later the driver is in my driveway. No professionalism. Visiting the area and the snow has us staying inside. Ordered honey chicken and when it came it was so chewy we couldn't even bite into it. It looked unappetizing also. I've never had honey chicken look like this. I wasn't sure if it was even chicken honestly. Hot and Sour soup was okay. Super disappointed. read more

This place is excellent for take out and the food is always ready super fast! The portions are huge, plenty to share or save for the following day. The lo main is delicious, and so is the combo plate that comes with an entrée, pork friend rice and a large egg roll. The general tso's chicken is delicious! read more

I urge all customers to stay clear of this establishment and to go elsewhere for Chinese food. I ordered two chicken dishes (General Tso's and Kung Pao Chicken) for $26 off uber eats and one of the Kung Pao Chicken turned out to be completely spoilt. I took one bite and felt sick to my stomach. It had a strong odor, the chicken was rubbery, and it was gray in color. After talking to the owner about my concerns she first denied that I had ordered there and then stated that I should call uber if I had any issue with their food. From their end, the management was very unprofessional and did not show even an ounce of respect, concern, or courtesy for their customers. This is the place to go if you want spoilt Chinese food, to be told its your problem, and then to be rudely hung up on. Do yourself and your health a favor and take your business to one of Erie's many other safe and more professional restaurants. It could possibly save you and your family an upset stomach or food poisoning.They should be reported to the Food Health Department. read more

Passing through and wanted a quick, cheap meal after driving all day. Ordering was easy and our food arrived very quickly. Pretty typical for what you'd expect from a take out place. Everything was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Maybe a little on the bland side, but we knew exactly what we were expecting and got exactly what we wanted with great service. We have ordered twice from them and I think the food is great. It is chinese food so this is not the healthiest food ever. However, when you order chinese, you know what you are going for ;-)) For what it is, this place is awesome. The delivery is fast in my opinion, the food is delicious, and it is cheap. We had a great meal tonight at Fortune Garden. As we are only passing through Erie on our trip to Canada, we didn't have a clue where to eat dinner. The hotel has the menu available so we took a chance. The food ordered was delicious and on par with NY, Toronto,and points beyond. We were surprised because when we arrived the restaurant looks like and is primarily a takeout operation. What it lacked in ambiance it more than made up for with great service and well seasoned fresh food. We enjoyed really good Curry, terrific Mongolian beef, Lo mein and beef with Broccoli.
