Passing through as i came from Los Angeles via Idaho, very good tasting Chinese food, service was just ok but the food made up for it.

Will never order from this place again. Called in an order to be delivered. Payed over the phone with my debit card. About 10 minutes later fortune garden called me back and said the card did not go through. I gave them the numbers again and stayed on the phone until the transaction cleared for them. About 2 days later both charges pop up on my bank account. I called fortune garden, they said there is nothing they can do about that, (I am pretty sure that is not true) I need to call my bank... so I called the bank. The bank is going to send me a letter to sign and send back within 10 days, then it has to be reviewed by corporate and I should know in 90 days if I get my money back or not,,, Really? I have been a regular customer for some time.. I will not put up with this. I found their food kinda bland anyway. I am waiting for our new panda express to open in December. I loved this place. the food was good and reasonable. The portions were huge. The service was fast and efficient. The menu was direct and easy to read. I would definite recommend anyone who wants Chinese food. However, please use the restroom before going because the bathrooms are disgustingly nasty. read more

The Singapore Chow Mai is SO good! Spicy and delicious with an awesome curry flavor. Their broccoli chicken is also amazing, as well as the pork fried rice and spring rolls. I'd recommend this place for sure! read more

It's not about the super cool building or ambiance, because this place is old and pink, but the food is all homemade and stinking delicious. The portions are huge! Just don't go into the bathroom before you eat. This would be a 5 star except for the bathrooms. read more

Listen, the food is fine. Typical American Chinese restaurant. It is the cleanliness that really gets to me. The bathrooms are disgusting. This makes me believe that the kitchen is not likely kept in the best order in regard to cleanliness. Yes the décor is outdated but that is not what I am talking about. I am talking about dirt, grease, dust, food. The place just does not seem very clean. Like I said though, in my humble opinion there Chinese food is better tasting overall then any other local place. This is by far the best Chinese food in Oregon! The only place I'll eat. The food is fresh and the owners are friendly.

As far as Chinese food goes it was ok. We are new to the area so read the yelp reviews first. First of all, the egg rolls were HUGE and the egg flour soup was great! I wasn put off when I asked for extra hot mustard and was charged $1. The staff was friendly upon both ordering and picking up. The food was great and the service was good too. I'm only giving it 2 stars though because they need to clean that place up a bit. Stained carpets, torn booth seats and you can tell that place needs to be dusted. If you don't mind all this, then I would certainly recommend them because their food and service is pretty good! read more

This has become our favorite place to eat Chinese food in Hermiston, despite having several to choose from, with Chen's being our second favorite. It's a small place that doesn't look like much from the outside but they have some really good food at affordable prices and you don't have to wait long to get your food. They have a little different take on some of their dishes, when compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area, but in a good way. They offer very healthy portions and the service has always been friendly. A good overall place to eat some really good Chinese food. read more
