After everything, I was overcharged for my waffles, and then they argued with me at the register about the price... their menu is $13.99 for a waffle with ice cream we got no ice cream option which is 10.99 We've been to hales 3-4 times it's usually good, but this one really left a sour taste in my mouth. Hermiston needs more breakfast locations.

I hope that this is not what happened but I will not return for a meal the next time that I am in town.

As owner of Kobe Hibachi Sushi we would love for reviews to please talk to us if you don't like a Meal . And we will gladly do something to make it better . Our chefs go out of there way to make everything perfect for customers. Someone posted a review today on yelp it was really negative about our restaurant. They said they ate there Today , and explained in detail what they ordered but we have no check with The suposobly food they ordered, so we believe this reviewer is a fake. And is trying to hurt our business. Our chefs and managers go 2 times a week to pick up fresh fish in Portland . To offer the best fresh sushi everyday . Our chefs go out of their way to make the best plates , if you order something and don't like it or something is wrong with it, please tell us so we can fix it right there and then . May God bless the life of this fake reviewer with better things to do than to hurt a business that's only here to do good to the community hermiston . P.s a picture of the miles on our kobe hibachi sushi truck in just 4 months from traveling to Portland 2 times a week for fresh fish . Kobe Hibachi Sushi is probably in my eyes a full four star sushi bar and Restaurant. The reason I give it a full four stars is because it truly is what you expect Sushi to be I found it quite the experience. As soon as you walk in someone greets you asks how many is in your party and seats you within the next 5 minutes you order you wait you talk to your party you get your drinks and like I said you wait I think that 5th Star would have to be with the wait time.. don't get me wrong I understand sushi is not a fast food but if plans are made throughout a tight schedule sushi may take a few more minutes than expected... Now if time wasn't of importance then a full 5 stars by all means... Each roll or plate or bowl made to what I find to be amazing I have been there multiple times and each time I try something new and never get disappointed. I love this place! I'm originally from Central Oregon where there's plenty of restaurants to choose from and that's the one thing I've been missing since moving up here. I was leery at first about sushi in a small Eastern Oregon town, but decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I've been to Kobe multiple times and have never had a bad meal! Their service is prompt and attentive, they're happy to explain and offer suggestions. The Kobe Special Roll is AMAZING! It's one of the best rolls I've ever had. We've also had the Teriyaki Chicken Don, Ramen, bento boxes, and have tried many different rolls. Kobe offers incredible, high quality food, prompt and attentive service, a beautiful atmosphere, and affordable pricing. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! I'm so thrilled they took a chance on opening in our little town! They get busy quick, so if you don't want to have to wait you better get there early. read more

I had a great time at this sushi place with my friends. We ordered a lot of sushi rolls and they were all delicious. I especially liked the paradise rolls, naruto, and sunshine. They were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The service was fast and attentive, and the environment was cozy and relaxing. The male waiter who served us was very cute and helpful. He was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. He gave us good recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. He also had a nice smile and a charming personality. Worst sushi place ever! In the beginning they were good. Despite that they deteriorated quickly. The service slipped hard! It started taking forever to get the food we ordered and the orders were getting messed up two visits to the place in a row. Also they served ramen the last time we were there with a fried egg, a fried egg! Anyone who's ever had ramen knows thats not how to make it. The employees also got lazy and disrespectful, and only would pick up the pace and attitude when the owner was present! Will not go back there again. Spend the extra time and gas and go to the Tri-Cities where there are plenty of good sushi restauraunts to choose from. read more

This place is classy without a tie .food is great or should I say excellent ,service is great ,lunch specials are great price and you get a lot of food for lunch specials too . Every roll I've had since opening has been awesome , any body that has any complaints just don't have a clue . I felt like I was in Japan for an hour !I have been eating there three times a week or more and a lot of happy people in there every time . It's nice to see happy people enjoying great food . Amazing, fresh sushi and so much more! I was a bit skeptical when a sushi restaurant came to Hermiston, but it's some of the best sushi I've had! So nice to have another option in town! Very friendly staff and service too. By far my most favorite restaurant in our area- priced great, and has lots of other options for non-sushi fans. I highly recommend eating here! I would attach a photo of the gorgeous appearance of our 3 rolls we got...but we couldn't wait to eat and ate them asap! lol. I recommend the 395 roll! read more

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Went with my fiancee to dinner there to celebrate our sixth anniversary, and we were treated so wonderfully. The owner, Shaun, is an amazing person. I constantly saw him interacting with guests and helping his workers out. He was so sweet and gave us a few treats to help celebrate our special day. That alone would be reason enough for us to come back, but honestly the food is totally spectacular too.... They can expect us to be regulars from here on out. read more

Very good! The fish here is very fresh and the sushi excellent. The service is excellent! This restaurant is a welcome respite from the mexican, chinese, and thai food monopoly here in hermiston. Even if you do not like sushi, the tempura (fried meat or vegetables) is to die for. I would recommend the bento boxes, which have large mounds of tempura and rice, two pork benzo (dumplings) and four california rolls. They are in the realm of $10 depending on which one you buy. read more

I was sad to see a fake review given. The restaurant doesn't deserve that at all. It really is a great place, and beyond my one unfortunate experience there, I recommend it highly. This is a great new restaurant in town. We were very impressed. My husband had the chicken and steak hibachi meal and it was delicious, and I had the pork belly ramen which was also very good! I'm not a huge fan of sesame oil, and there was a lot of it in the ramen, so next time I will try something else. But overall it was really yummy and we will definitely be back. read more

There was barely any pork bits, and just tasted like soy sauced rice. They missed the mark on that for sure.
