My husband and I ordered here for the first time. I don't understand the bad reviews, as I had the best Lo Mein chicken I have ever had. The lunch portions are fairly priced and generously portioned. It's enough for two meals. My husband had the General Tso chicken, which he said wasn't very spicy, but good. We will be returning here a lot, especially for the lunch specials. I love they come with crab wontons instead of eggrolls. This location gets an A+ rating from the health department. You can look it up. I really don't understand the bad reviews. read more

Horrible! The first thing that hits you is the smell of moldy carpet when you walk in the door. The first time I ate there the food was adequate, the second time not so much. I have been here many times prior to this review, and always had about the same experience. I have ordered anything but carry out, so I cannot speak to the service level within the restaurant, but only over the phone and when picking up the food. My orders have a tendency to be specialize, and they have been accurate with my orders each time. I will say that once I get here and am ready to pick-up, they are slower than most when it comes to greeting me, but my food is always ready within the expected time. I will usually order some type of shrimp meal, so today's order or Schzuan Shrimp is pretty standard. I ask for extra shrimp and extra veggie since I am not eating rice. It was as much to get the extra as it was the meal itself, but they did give me a double order. The shrimp tasted good. Not too rubbery as I have had from other places. The veggies were cooked on point. The sauce was not as spicy as I have in the past. Still good, just no heat. The egg rolls were dryer than normal today. It is a good thing I use hot mustard to bring up the heat and moisture level. For the record, still tasted good. Lastly, their crab rangoon is the smallest, least filled of any I have had from anywhere. They only have one size order (6) where most will offer a small and large portion. And they do not provide you the sweet and sour sauce with your order. It is an extra price for this, while is normally free other places I have been. In the end, there are better places to go, yes. But for convenience and the overall quality of food, it is an okay place to eat. Enjoy! read more

Ordered from here for the first time tonight, as it is conveniently located right down the street. I ordered shrimp chow mein and an order of spring rolls. I went to pick up my meal, decently priced, paid just under $7. I got home and opened my meal and what I saw was definitely not shrimp chow mein. It was shrimp with what looked like onions and sprouts. There was so much white sauce, the food was slimy. I literally had to throw it in a frying pan and cook it down. Three shrimp is all I got in the pint of food ordered. The shrimp were good and plump. The spring rolls were probably about the size of my thumb. Will not be ordering from here again, unless I have a hankering for shrimp, onions and sprouts. read more

I have gotten their boneless ribs and wonton soup to go a few times. The boneless ribs are different than most Chinese restaurants, in a good way. The pints of Wonton soup have only three wontons in a pint. Today I had a meal delivered. I had the Kung Po combination. The rice was good, the flavors good and a little spicy (as advertised) But the texture of the chick feels like it's raw. The sauce is too dark with Hoisin sauce to check the color of the chicken to see if it's under cooked or not, but I am not eating it. I also ordered a large order of spare ribs (on the bone) Again, the sauce is heavy with housin, not necessarily a bad thing, but the ribs are fatty and cut in two rib pieces for the most part. They are drowning in this black sauce and that is taking away from the flavor of the meat and joy of eating them. This is the last time I waste money here. Some of the best Chinese food we've had in Florida! We like Chicken with broccoli with garlic sauce and beef lo mein and Fortuner did not disappoint. The broccoli was cooked perfectly for us, fairly tender but still somewhat crunchy too. The garlic sauce was excellent - slightly sweet and very flavorful. The beef lo mein noodles had good texture, the beef was plentiful, and the flavor was good. The egg drop soup was very good. The egg roll filling was a bit soft for our tastes but the flavor was good. We paid under $20 for the quart of beef lo mein and the chicken with broccoli combination dinner that included entree, rice, egg roll and soup - definitely a good value compared to other places in Florida. We will definitely be ordering takeout again soon! read more

From the stale noodles the greeted us to the pre-made pancakes that went with the Mu shu, to the over cooked broccoli (in chicken with broccoli), this place was fairly disappointing. If you happen to find yourself in front of this restaurant turn around and look across the street where you'll find one that's rated four 1/2 stars. The best hot and sour soup I've had in years. Full menu including vegetarian options. I had Shrimp and Broccoli and husband had General Tau's chicken. We both thought it was very good. Customer service is lacking. Stood and waited at least 5 mins to be waited in for my to go order. There was miscommunication on the order and when I tried to correct it the girl waiting on me had a bad attitude. Maybe if she didn't rush me off the phone it would've been right. there are always kids running around, the woman at the front desk has always been nice to me, but for some reason if my boyfriend goes in she is nasty to him. we have tried this place a few time (mainly because its close to home) but after the last disaster I wont go back. The place itself doesn't appear to be very clean or welcoming but the food was very tasty and not over cooked. The only thing I ordered that was just ok was the crab Rangoon(fried cheese wonton). Ordered lunch, I didn't say lunch at 12:30 in the afternoon. so instead of checking the crook charged me dinner combination prices for less than mediocre food.They forgot to add the soup, I had wontons! The egg roll was cold, and they put 4 shrimp in my shrimp with broccoli that I paid top dollar for. If I wanted to pay those prices I'd have gone to the buffet across the street with great food and eaten all the shrimp i want! this place is clearly intended to be a take out restaurant. we went for a sit down meal and it was strange. They played no music and there were, presumably, the owners kids running around (we were the only customers there). the kids were cute though, but not everyone likes kids. I had the bourbon chicken and it was fantastic! It was perfectly cooked and the portion was large. The cook forgot about one of our meals and our friend had to wait for them to cook it after we had all been served, that sucked. Since then, ive always heard people saying how great this place was so i thought either 1)people here are so easily impressed by anything because there is so little here in the way of GOOD food, they would think ANY garbage would be good 2)They simply have no clue as to what good chinese food is or 3) Maybe they got alot better, so, i gave em another try, and after i tried them again, i realized, it was somewhere between 1&2, 3 was never a concideration. lets put it like this...if the soup in a chinese rest is good, almost 100% of the time the food is good too.....the soup is gag inducing.....do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY...Go accross the street to Evergreen...much better choice. read more

By far the worst Chinese restaurant we have ever eaten at. Our mystery chicken had no taste at all and was rubbery. It certainly didn't taste like anything we're ever had and was really disgusting. The chicken rice soup was made with beef broth and again, no taste to it. Noodles were stale and the spring rolls were tough. We were visiting the area from out of state and wish now that we had read the reviews before our unfortunate experience.
