    Black bean wrap
    Stacey G.

Came here for lunch. I ordered the black bean burger wrap that came with sweet potato fries. It was delicious! I will say it was very expensive, $25. Next time I will need to order the frozen yogurt.

This restaurant is located on the top floor of Bloomingdale's. This place was very convenient because we didn't want to walk through the mall. We were seated quickly, and decided to go with the lunch specials. I ordered the turkey club which was came with a side of fries. It was very fresh and filling, the fries were crunchy just like I like them. Hubby ordered the Ahi tuna sandwich with a side of Coleslaw topped with mandarin oranges. He must of loved it because I didn't get a chance to take a bite. They also have a frozen yogurt section which I would've loved to try, but we were both full. Definitely glad we ate there, next time I will come back for the frozen yogurt!

The service was horrible and the restaurant wasn't even full. The turkey sandwich was shiny gross turkey roll. It wasn't even edible. Kids Mac and cheese was like dried Out old Kraft M&C. Kids quesadillas was also dried. Kids fruit had zero Flavor. Would never eat here again. No one ever checked on us to see how the meal was. Waste of an expensive lunch !!!!

This is one of my favorite things about New Jersey. Super friendly servers delicious carrot soup, and salads that are just incredibly flavorful . We started with carrot soup had the spicy chicken mango salad as an entrée. We started with carrot soup had the spicy chicken mango salad as an entrée. Salads and soup come with a warm pretzel roll, which is a really nice touch. On the third floor of Bloomingdale's, so you have a beautiful view and a great place to have a girls lunch.

This place is awesome. Super delicious food from salads to sandwiches. All seems to be on the healthy light side and I wanted all of it. I had a special Pastrami grilled cheese. It had thick cut fresh pastrami with cheddar cheese and coleslaw topped on TEXAS TOAST!! it was super professional and came with a side of fresh cut sweet potato fries and the carrot soup !! Let me tell you about the carrot soup , it is a must try. It was so creamy and full of flavor. I never had carrot soup so I figured I give it a go and I'm happy I did. It's upstairs in the mall in Bloomingdale's and it actually had a nice little view for being in a mall. Looks like they have a juice bar too. Highly recommend.

I like this place. Food is always fresh, prices are decent but the wait for the food to be ready is a but much. I waited 45 minutes for a salad which is ridiculous but otherwise the food is great

    Half Turkey Cranberry Panini

The Turkey cranberry panini was great! Considering how busy the place was we got our food very quickly. The seating area was nice and service was great!

This is a great lunch spot located on the third floor of Bloomingdales at the Short Hills Mall. The menu is generally pretty healthy and very tasty. There are soups, salads, sandwiches, and other entrees. I usually get the carrot soup because it is delicious and healthy. You HAVE to follow up your meal with some frozen yogurt! I crave this frozen yogurt regularly and have definitely gone to the mall just to get some yogurt. There are generally a few different flavors (they always have plain and rotate a few other flavors) and a variety of toppings (fruit, sauces, candy, nuts, etc). If you just want the frozen yogurt, there is a little cafe in the basement of Bloomingdales that has yogurt, pastries, drinks, and some prepared salads. Whether you want to sit and take a break or grab something quick, there is definitely the option!

Mango chicken salad with avocado ($17 + $2 for avo)
    Sarah H.

Completely overpriced for what it is. That being said, the food is not awful. My mango chicken salad was extremely filling and our server was very nice. However, when you can get an equally yummy salad/sandwich that is arguably fresher and half the price at ABP...I don't see why anybody would come to Forty Carrots for anything but the froyo.

    Elaine H.

Pretty decent frozen yogurt. I loved my banana whisk with skim milk, honey and banana, except that it was a bit too sweet... People hate carrots might fight this place annoying somehow as there were carrots picture here and there.

We ordered a classic type pita and side of pita to snack on. The one gyro was big enough to share for two people and extremely delicious. The pistachio baklava was also a great treat to go. A bit sticky but flavorful and a good sized portion. Service is either order with a person or use the tablet to order and your food is brought out to you. The inside was extremely clean and plenty of space to sit. Most people seemed to come in for takeout as we were eating.

Wife had the Mediterranean Platter which was standard fare- falafel that is not noteworthy and a bit dry, hummus, grape leaves, veggies, pita, a decent baba ghanoush and tabouli. Honestly if the falafel isn't starring, I feel the whole platter can fall apart. I had the Koshari Platter. This was like an Egyptian garbage plate from a food truck and I honestly mean that as a compliment! Rice, pasta, lentils, chickpeas, tomato sauce and crispy onions! Never had anything like this and the description does not do the flavor justice. We also had fried pickles which were yummy just a little on the oily side. Cornmeal type batter had lots of potential but can also hold oil if the temp isnt right. Serving sizes are HUGE. I took home what could feed another 2 people from the Koshari Platter. Would give this place another shot and try a few other items. Love that they mark their GF and Vegan options well.

A Gluten-Friendly Nugget Haven in Chatham…read more First time at The Nugget Spot - Chatham, and I'm so glad a friend introduced me. I just wish they'd open one closer to Bergen County! As someone with a gluten allergy, I was a little nervous at first, but the grilled nuggets are a total lifesaver, and they even have broccoli as a side. I went with the medium grilled combo and paired it with the Smokin' J's BBQ sauce -- the nuggets were juicy, packed with flavor, and incredibly fresh. The portion was generous enough that I brought home leftovers for later. I also tried their homemade blueberry lemonade, it was refreshing. For anyone who can enjoy gluten, the wings and nuggets looked amazing -- and the sauce options alone could spark a serious debate! Service was quick and friendly. It wasn't crowded when we walked in, but I can definitely picture this spot getting busy during peak hours. The staff was fun to joke with, and the place was clean with plenty of parking. It's a great spot to get tasty food fast. Downsides: limited seating, so not ideal for larger groups wanting to dine in, and no bathroom on-site. Being part of a strip mall, though, you've got other stores nearby if needed. If I lived closer, this would definitely be a staple spot. Highly recommend for anyone looking for flavorful, fast, gluten-friendly nuggets!

But explained the menu completely. I got the Med combo with some nugget spot lemonade. The breaded nuggets got a good crunch to them and plenty neat within. You can taste the good seasoning.
