The…read morebags and other items at the Coach Outlet are made specifically for the outlet, so the quality is not on par with the items at the flagship stores, but neither is the price. Both are lower, which is why I'm here. Even though I shop here pretty regularly, I have two major complaints. The high pressure sales and the cumbersome and deliberately complicated pricing scheme. Yes a pricing scheme, not a pricing structure. In the past, as soon as you walked in, you were bombarded with sales clerks giving you coupons, telling you about the sale of the day, and asking what you were looking for. All of that turns me off! Too high pressure. Give me space. Let me breathe. Good news!! They have changed their style! Now, just one person is by the front door and simply welcomes you in. So much better! If I need a personal shopper, I will ask for assistance. The other annoyance was the complicated pricing system designed so that you needed a calculator to determine the actual cost. I'm not kidding, they would give you a calculator! It was a major challenge and I'm a wiz at math! Discounts on top of discounts that differed on every item. Ridiculous. Just tell me the gosh darn price! We already know this is an outlet and there will be deals. And not one of us believes this tiny purse of low quality was ever priced at $398 and it just happens to be my lucky day so I can purchase it for $89. Seriously, just put the dang price on the bag. Well, more good news! They now have a scan code on a sign that you scan into your phone. This enables you to scan any barcode on any item to see the actual price. Not what it originally was or what it was first discounted to. The price you actually pay! Hallelujah! Finally Coach has moved forward with the times and stopped selling handbags like we are buying them off an infomercial at 3am. Along with 2 Ginzo knives! Now that the rant is over, there were lots of nicely styled bags available in a variety of price ranges. Nothing that I had to have, and that's ok. But what I did need was some LOVE. We are nearing Valentine's Day so they had a display of bags in Valentine's Red or pink or with hearts. Plus a few bags in their signature brown print with LOVE emblazoned in a 70s style script in shades of Orange. And a tag of the same that you can clip onto a pony bag and adorn it in LOVE. That's what I bought! For about $25, I bought me some much needed LOVE and I'm super happy with my purchase. Thanks again, Coach, for listening to your customers and making much needed improvements to reduce the high pressure sales and make it easy for customers to figure out the price. Price it right and they will buy, it's that simple.

The first time I visited a outlet mall and checked out this store I was naively blown away by the "amazing" discounts where they have a sticker price like $300 and then the outlet price like $60. Anyway later I understood a little bit on the outlet marketing strategies and I don't ever buy something based on the price tag alone. I still like wilsons since they sell some good looking leather jackets for cheap that fit well. i also have bought winter coats here that have held up well for more than 2 years. You can also get leather accessories on the cheap (sometimes cheaper than say Ross). The store is crowded and aisles are pretty much non existent but if you go to the store with a outlet approach (shop for deals not service or store organization) then you might leave impressed with the bargains.

And of course the sweatshirts and sweaters from the winter season still available. There was a navy, red and white belated trench coat that I really liked, but did a catch and release since I have so many coats and usually forget to grab one out of the closet! Stripes were everywhere, even on the slide sandals, perfect for poolside. Lots of jeans, too, many in the trendy reborn flair and trouser styles for those needed a break from the skinny jeans. The only Tommy Hilfinger clothing I own are jumpsuits; I find this designer makes the best fitting and classically styled version. They are very fitters from the waist up which loose comfortable legs. A zipper in back makes them easy to get in and off. On this day, they didn't have any available. Typically I find them at Ross of all places! And at such fabulous prices I have bought several. The store was clean and well organized with the clothing arranged around colors and seasons. Like a kid in a candy store, my eyes were drawn to the plethora of colors, but I was on a mission to find a bag replacement for my mom so I needed to focus. I ended up purchasing several items in a deep plum color. I bought the large Aspen over-the-shoulder style bag, an accordion zip wallet, two utility pouches, and a Luna pouch. Their clothing style doesn't particularly appeal to me, it's a little too plain, but I do shop here for my basic t-shirts and long sleeve T-shirts. They are 100% cotton and feel so good, very comfortable to wear. Polyester blends make me hot, I need breathable fabrics! So twice a year I come here to stock up. Usually a few white, as we all know when you wear white you always end up with a stain! A few black, any shade of blue they are carrying that season, plus whatever other color catches my attention. They are of high quality and last through many washings. They come in V or crew neck, short or long sleeve - and I usually buy them at the $9-12 price point. Last time I was here I scored a pair of black waterproof pants, perfect for my daily walks in our rainy season, which lasts 6 months! I wear them over leggings so my legs stay warm and dry. They alone were worth the trip out to Woodburn! Staff is helpful, friendly without the typical "pounce" nature of so many stores. There if you need them and leave you alone otherwise. Perfect.

Since I wear New Balance sneakers, I was looking for a specific style, their waterproof walking shoe that rolls when you walk. This technology really helps my plantar fasciitis keeping the weight off of my heal which is so inflamed. Unfortunately they don't carry this particular style but the sales rep showed me a few other options. . Since good walking shoes are expensive, even at the outlet, I didn't want to take a chance on an unknown when I actually have a style that has proven to work for me. Without the right support, I literally can't even walk 20 feet! So I'll have to order the grid and true style online. Will definitely stop at this store every time I'm at the Woodbury Outlets to see if they have the style sneaker I wear and to check out the athletic wear, which seems to be the only thing I wear in these pandemic times!
