The company would reach out about once a month to let me know the status which I really appreciated. (Was impressed by that honestly.) Install went ok. I was not impressed with the crew cleaning up after themselves (because they really didn't) and they didn't clean the windows. Even asked me if the large ladder I had was mine and then said I could use that to clean the windows myself. I had to comment to the company to get the windows cleaned which shouldn't have happened. It's standard practice to have the windows cleaned on the same day as install. I also had to correct them on the need for a permit. Somehow between the bid and install, that was deemed unnecessary. Not sure if I would recommend or not but frankly, there are very few window companies that are recommendable. Probably because the workers rotate between companies anyway. Response: Don't twist my words. It was more than just running out of supplies. And at NO POINT did I provide an incorrect address. I would think I know where I live! I have lived here for SIX years. And if it was discussed at the time of the bid, then you clearly had the correct one. Do not lie. It's disgusting. I originally gave four stars but after the response from the owner, deducted a star.

The doors are very good quality and I love the ability to customize the look and the prices are great. Mr. Gray is very professional, kind, and knowledgeable about his product line and made a same day visit to measure and begin working on my quote, which was a nice surprise. Most importantly, while the website is nice and you can use their online tool to see what a door would look like on your home, I recommend you go in person to the showroom because doors look so much better in person, the demonstration is extremely helpful, and the staff is very helpful and welcoming!

I found D&J Iron Doors online and noticed they had beautiful Iron doors . I stop by and showed them pictures which they had me to email the pics and measurements up of my old door. They had a new door that I liked in stock. They sent me a turnkey quote that included everything involved with the install including trim and paint. It started raining so they weren't able to finish the same day but they made sure the new door was installed and sealed up from the elements. The new door was about 2 inches narrower than the existing so it involved extra framing. The installers came back the next day with wider than normal trim to adjust for the narrower door. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect. I highly recommend Johnny @ D&J Builders Surplus Iron Doors and their installers! The new door is way better made. It is super heavy duty and seals up nice!

Rudy and his team at Payless were top-notch, professional, and do business the old-fashioned way. We got a few bids and Payless' prices were slightly more reasonable than the others, and they came highly recommended from a list of service providers from my Dallas Newcomers group. As an interior designer, I have worked with many contractors and sub-contractors and most experiences have been so-so or very negative. But Payless exceeded all my expectations-- the employees were very professional, eager to please, and actually nice to have around! This made a stressful experience so much more pleasant. They did fine work-- drywall, painting, and laying limestone on a bathroom floor. After they finished and I had paid, I noticed a couple tiny flaws and Rudy, the owner, sent out his guys right away to fix them. I added a picture of how he spoke to me after the roofer he sent out left our home. Bad business no customer service whatsoever. Adding to this review as we were sent a Cease and Desist letter telling me to change my review. My entire interaction with Daniel from Absolute was captured via text message. I've attached pictures. I will not be bullied by someone who is in the wrong, the owner of absolute and their lawyers can simply read the text messages on the phone Daniel uses and they can see the entire interaction. Not once did we speak on the phone so nothing will be missed. I also added a picture of the cease and Desist demanding us to include additional details to this review details that has always been in my review, again if the lawyer or the owner of absolute read the review it has always shown that yes someone did come out. Daniel also refused to provide me a report pictures attached prove this. Our HOA contacted Absolutely roofing on our behalf and Daniel/Absolute got my contact information from my HOA let it be known I never contacted Absolutely roofing construction first. Daniel messaged me asking me to send pictures of the leak which I did. Someone was sent out later that day around 3pm, the person sent over could not communicate with us for some odd reason he did not say a word other than "check roof" after we opened our door. I mentioned this to Daniel so my story has always been the same, the text messages pictured proves this. After showing the absolute employee to our attic he left our home and we did not hear anything else further. I texted Daniel to ask for any information as the employee did not communicate anything to us. With me asking I was immediately met with condescending and rude comments by Daniel you can also see how he responded to my simple question in the texts below. I stand by my statement Daniel is a terrible representative for this company and this is a very fair and FACTUAL review as the text messages prove this.
