We purchased a ventless insert w/ glass crystals a few years ago. We are on natural gas - so we had to hire third party to install them. When we called for service of the insert (stopped working), we were told they DO NOT service them. They just sell them. Very disappointed and sad with the response. We have had to research other companies in the area to help us resolve the problem. Why would you sell a product but not follow through with assistance in maintaining the insert (or at least recommend what we should do). read more

misused my autopay. stole over $400 from my checking account over the course of 2 weeks when i had $100 payments set up for every 2 weeks. dropped me when my order was finally paid off correctly. resason they gave for contract termination was they were unable to satify my needs. foster fuels has horrific customer service. they take zero accountability for their own mistakes. read more

Absolutely DO NOT USE FOSTER FUELS!!! We hired them to install a propane tank and lines to our new house and generator. We had an HVAC company doing all work inside the house. Foster Fuels decided to tear apart all the work that the HVAC company had done and had already been inspected by the county! We repeatedly tried to get them to put it back and get out of the house. We told them repeatedly that we did not hire them to do any work inside the house and the HVAC company told them to leave and not be tearing their work apart! They then proceeded to charge the bill to my credit card that they had on file!!! When trying to talk to the regional manager and the one who set all of this up, they told me to refer to their "in house lawyer"! This company is so crooked they have an in house lawyer to deal with these things. We are now at $2400 in unauthorized work plus 170 ft of extra gas line that was buried because they charge by the foot for that (it goes completely into the hayfield behind my house so they could bury an entire 500 ft roll). This has been the worst experience in building our new house, so if you are building your dream home, don't use these guys! They will turn it into a nightmare!! read more

My wife and I purchased a set of fire place logs from Foster Fuel and did so thinking it would be the best place since we are dealing with gas in the home , we didn't know that they wouldn't back up the product. Their product had a flaw. If you aren't buying fuel from them they won't do anything for you but sell you things and not back them up. I feel this is a soft form of strong arm tactics to use one service to force other services on you. read more

Watch out for hidden fees and misleading information from this company. In my opinion, their policies are shady and not fair to customers. I know they are in business to make money but in my experience stopping service with them is very expensive and favors them. They avoid telling you how much it costs to discontinue service by using misleading statements. I would not recommend them. read more

I want to commend your employees who deliver propane. Jeremy Puckett was the latest person to deliver to our house. I have to say that he was a very pleasant and efficient . I enjoyed a short conversation with him after he completed the delivery. I have not had a negative experience with either scheduling or delivering propane. read more

Appeared unethical and unprofessional after the initial visit. Did not have anywhere close to positive experience. Felt like they were only out for themselves and not trustworthy. Didn't stand behind their product and the manufacture had questions about their business dealings too. read more

I bought a 500 gallon propane tank from Foster a couple of years ago to supply my Generac generator. Foster installed and filled the tank. Several months ago my generator malfunctioned, and according to Energy Air and Electric, who services the generator, the problem is with the gas line. I called Foster and rather than making it right the representative quoted a $269 service call fee PLUS at least $199 just to look at my tank and line.
