The entire staff if easy to work with and the company takes pride in a job well done. Like others, I have a propane tank installed, as well as fireplaces that have been installed and repaired. Been using Tiger Fuel since we moved to Appomattox County six years ago. They have installed tanks, connected our propane fireplace, Generator and Gas Stove. All work was accomplished quickly, safely and professionally. Jim did the advance survey for our work, advised on the proper tank and installation requirements. The installation crews finished the installs very professionally. Travis designed and fabricated a quick disconnect propane regulator and hose assembly for our RV that worked perfectly and made our camping cooking much easier and safer. He did the design free of charge only charged us for a few parts and finished the work that day. Now that is service! When we order tank refills, they deliver usually within a day. We highly recommend Tiger, they do it right the first time and are terrific people to do business with. read more

I recently decided to switch propane vendors for my home and after doing research I decided that Tiger Fuel Company was the vendor for me. Pricing and customer service played a huge role in my decision. Once I understood the commitment that Jim Stapleton and his team in Appomattox had to their customers I knew that I would no longer be an account number instead my unique propane needs are handled beyond my expectations. Jim treats his customers the way he would want to be treated and will not let them run out of fuel even if it means delivering it himself after normal business hours. There isn't another propane company in the Lynchburg area that could come close to this level of satisfaction and/or service. If you are shopping for a propane vendor look no further and give Tiger Fuel Company a call! read more

Great stores and great people - Tiger Fuel Co. has the perfect combination of good, clean, well managed and staffed convenience stores and professional, kind folks running them. I think Jim Stapleton is great. I've known him for a long time. He is very knowledgeable on propane appliances. We purchased a new home and got a new set of gas logs for our family room. He came out and spoke to my wife as smooth as Johnny Mathis. He was able to answer all her questions and sold her exactly what I wanted. We purchased a new set of gas logs with remote. I changed to Tiger Fuel when other company changed ownership and apparently didn't care that I had been with their company for 35 years. Not only is the a better overall price, the service cannot be beat. They keep appointment when made and deliver promptly when I order Propane. Good to have a company that cares. read more
