First time visiting. Wonderful burger, and shakes. I had the old fashioned burger, fries, and Oreo shake. My kiddo had a strawberry sundae and they were able to take off the nuts for him and add a ton of sprinkles (his favorite) We will definitely come back. It's a fast food place, personally I like to go for the fried zucchini. What I will say is their closing times are off, they will say they close at 8 and when you show up at 7:15-7:30 they will say they are closed. We live in the area and unfortunately have to deal with things in our area closing early but it sucks even more to have them close before they even say their closed. read more

A bit beat up, inside and out. Prices are reasonable. Portions are huge. Service was polite and fast. Food was pretty good. I wanted the food's taste was a bit more aggressive. I wanted the burger patties to have more charcoal broiled flavor, the tomatoes to be fresher, the onions to be more savory. But their burgers are still better than the large chains. Not the best Fosters in the chain. The place is old and dirty. Needs a new Blue paint job outside. The old water fountain outside that does not work is full of dirt very gross looking. The back outside bathroom is full of graffiti . Seems every time I order the waffle fries they are hard and overcooked in bad oil that give me the runs. The inside eating area has storage box's lined up. They need to cover them up. Seems to be understaffed as you have to wait If crowded. We love having a Fosters still in Boulder Creek on a hot day for ice cream but please try to clean the place up. read more

So I went for a drive with my Mom in the Santa Cruz Mountains yesterday on a bright, glorious, and gorgeous Spring afernoon. The mountains were especially beautiful because it looks like we got enough rain this year for everything to be lush and verdant, and all around us we could see how beautiful this part of CA truly is when we have enough rainfall. Right after church and before we embarked on our little trek, I told my Mom I wanted to go to Foster's Freeze for one of their great ice cream cones as soon as we hit the valley floor again so that was the plan. So we drove in the mountains in no real direction until my Mom said she wanted to go to Boulder Creek so we went there. We passed through the town, went to a few stores and were on our way out until saw this Foster's Freeze on the side of the road!!! I mean, what luck! So we each got a Medium dipped Vanilla cone and savored the goodness in our car until it was time to leave and go home. What an awesome spectacle to have this great little restaurant smack dab in the middle of nowhere! Oh, and this place sees TRAFFIC. IT seems like everybody in Boudler Creek eats here cos there were people ordering there left and right! read more

Big parking lot, although since it's outside you'll frequently see people ignoring covid safety protocol while they wait for their orders. Get the Reese's twister and some onion rings. So I have Celiac disease and do not eat out. But, my 3 dogs love sn occasional ice cream cone. So I come here and they make the soft serve cone sooooo big it barely fits in cone. My 3 dogs take turns eating it and quite enjoy the service. I also meet friends here and im blown away by the amount of fries you get when ordering. It's awesome. Also a friend of mine ordered some food and was short 5.00. The older gent covered the difference. Generosity in thar moment with hungry kids, and such was not overlooked. My friend came back a week later with 20 friends (after a game) and they all ordered and tipped him. Very friendly family and staff. Also, ask them about the specials. We love this family owned Foster's freeze. The family that owns and runs it are very kind and accommodating. We stop by often for their banana shake which they make with a whole ripe banana, so good! . I also got the chocolate soft serve. It's always really frozenhard and doesn't melt easily like Burger King or Dairy Queen's does. They give you a huge portion for a medium size cone. It would be considered a large anywhere else. I'm mortified w/this new management at our hometown Foster Freeze. If the new management is from the same family that has operated this establishment in my hometown, they would be mortified, too! I will take and post picture of my "chili cheese burger", that had a table spoon of chili "sauce" on my burger...does not look anything like the picture that is displayed. You will see a 2 inch circle of chili sauce in the middle of the burger bun..I only ate a sliver portion of it and put it away so I will be able to take a pic of what I'm trying to relay. Was told to check this place out after we found out the redwood keg deli closes at 5pm, total bummer..... However, this Foster Freeze totally rocked! I used to throw them in the category above fast food but below diner food but this location wow'd me. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger dry with extra onion, large fry extra crispy, and a medium orange freeze. Everything came just as ordered and was mega delicious! I also have to note how caring and considerate the owner of this establishment is. We were waiting outside for our food and my girlfriend was freezing so I told her I'd wait and she could get back in the warm car. Upon seeing my girlfriend getting into the car the owner flagged me over and had made a hot chocolate just for my girl seeing that she was so cold. Total bonus points! My best friend and I used to get off one bus stop early on the way home from school to get an order of soft serve and an order of extra crispy french fries, then dip the fries in the soft serve. Everything was tasty and cooked to order. This is Foster's Freeze so we all had to get some kind of ice cream. My brother got the twister, my mom got the chocolate dipped cone, and I got the banana split. For the banana split he said if you tell him you are sharing he will put a little bit more. Since my brother ordered his twister with Snicker and bananas, he was kind enough to put it into a bigger cup. The only bad part was that it was cash only. But I did overhear him say that not only personal checks he would let you mail him the check! Boulder Creek ladies and gentlemen! Stopped by here before leaving Boulder Creek..it's a quaint old-fashioned fast food place that seemed to be a little busy, so I decided to give it a shot. Well, the food was typical fast food chain greased up burgers, fries and shakes. Not terrible, not the best. However, what really gave me the urge to write a review was because of the service. The owner is a cute little old Asian man that exudes with the most lovable personality and sense of humor. I've never witnessed amazing service like his.
