This review should allow zero star ratings, that being said DON'T do business here. First I was…read morelied to about finance options, stating I did not qualify for the special offered but later found out from a neighboring dealership that I did. So now paying finance charges I shouldn't have had to. Then after not receiving my tag for 3 weeks I contacted the dealership and they stated it was still there on the desk and was going to be overnighted and taken care of immediately before my temporary tag expired. Once my temporary tag was expired I tried to email and call the dealership several times always being told the people I needed to speak with were not able to speak with me, including the general manager and they would not respond to my messages or emails. I then had to contact the corporate office to complain. They called the dealership which lied about when they sent in my tag information. Once the complaint was filed then the dealership wanted to get my tag paperwork handled but now that it was a week past the due date the tag office requires a late fee from them which they can't seem to obtain. Now I'm paying for a vehicle with an expired temporary tag sitting in my driveway......again find another dealership

I originally thought this was a great trailer at a great price so I left a great review but after 3…read moremonths of use, I needed to be honest & leave an informative review. I have found out certain things about the build on these Blazer Trailers, the light/thin steel used bends & the lack of other safety features that Federal Law requires. At first sight these trailers look extremely well-built & extremely sturdy but under close review & use, the steel used to make these trailer frames are too light & thin for the length of the trailer. The slide in ramps will come out the other end because the stoppers are not tall enough, which will cause them to bounce over the stopper & eventually fly out. The main safety issue is the PFC steel frame that will bend under normal rated use & they will not cover it under warranty. The reason why brands like Kaufman cost more is because the steel they use is heavy gauge & intern will not bend. You're better off spending an extra $1000 on a Kaufman as you're going to end up investing that much patching & reinforcing these trailers as I did. Other issues are, FEDERAL LAW REQUIRES reflective tape on the sides & rear, brakes on all axles, a breakaway box, ID marker lights on trailers over 80" wide & a license plate light, all this is 100% required by USDOT, you can & will be fined for this. They wanted to charge me $700 plus shipping to repair the bent steel on my 3 month old trailer. Luckily I found a reputable Trailer manufacture here in the Charlotte, NC area That added a 1/2"x4.5"x12' bridge on both sides along with loading jacks on each side. I would say unless Ellenburg Trailers goes to another manufacturer don't buy trailers from them! Blazer Trailer Company has to stop cutting corners on basic safety features that can cause a serious accident, Safety features that are required 100% by Federal Law! Before y'all come back with Deliberately Overloading, I transport regular vehicles under the 5k payload. Nothing commercial, I own a used car dealership and all I purchase are regular vehicles from the auctions. I have a list of vehicles I have purchased. I purchased the trailer to move vehicles back and forth from the mechanic shop but 99% are transported by the auction. As far as safety here is a quick video showing how NATM inspects trailers to make sure they conform to federal law. I'll post the complete federal regulations on brakes per axle on separate comment. https://youtu.be/-Mvpj5lrOW8 By Federal law, all US trailer manufacturers need to meet all Federal safety regulations in all states not just SC. Brakes and emergency breakaway box laws. https://www.rvia.org/system/files/media/file/Trailer%20Brake%20Requirements.pdf

Unfortunately, the stigma of the "used car dealer mentality" still exists here. I contacted this dealership regarding a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and negotiated back and forth with the sales representative. He consulted with his sales manager and came back with a revised, agreed-upon price. I accepted it and began the process of moving forward, including preparing to place a deposit. The total concession was only $2,000 off the sticker price, so nothing unreasonable. The following day, the sales representative called me and said, "I need to be honest--the other sales manager decided we are not going to honor what we agreed to. The car has only been listed for nine days, so there's no deal." I have been in sales and sales leadership for over 30 years, and this type of behavior would never be acceptable in any reputable organization. When you give your word, you honor it. I asked that a manager or the general manager contact me to discuss my frustration and what I believe to be dishonest sales practices. No one ever called me back, which speaks volumes about how little customer experience matters here. After reading the existing reviews, I should have known better. When you see consistent negative feedback, it's usually telling you something. I gave them the benefit of the doubt--and unfortunately, the reviews were accurate. I would gladly drive two hours to another South Carolina dealership, or even into North Carolina, to work with professionals who value integrity and customer trust. Pretty sad, Carlton. Without happy clients, you won't have a successful dealership.

Very nice staff, but the Asheville dealership was MUCH nicer, more helpful, etc…read more I bought a car at the beginning of August. But I've been traveling cross country. I had my license plate shipped to me. I asked them to put them on. I've never had a problem with the dealership putting them on. They were happy to put on the rear plate, but since my front plates , there is no screws in there they would've had to charge me. To drill the holes. That's beyond me. Sorry I think if you buy a new Mercedes and you're at a Mercedes dealership, they should be willing to take care of that without a charge so I got my back plates on. No front plate cause I didn't wanna pay an hourly charge to have someone do that. Again, I didn't buy the car there, but they still should be willing to put on my front plates. Even if it includes drilling some holes.
