When I first found him, I was looking for a photo booth like the ones we used to see at carnivals as kids... the kind where we'd try to squeeze in as many people as possible to "get our money's worth." I wasn't interested in the open-air booths that seem to be everywhere these days. John's photo booth brings back all of that nostalgia... but better. It has a small footprint, so it doesn't take up too much space at an event, and the print quality is fantastic. Beyond that, John is simply wonderful to work with. He always creates great custom banner designs, arrives early to make sure everything is set up and ready to go, and is incredibly dependable. Brian was so easy to work with. He had over 100+ templates to choose from, vertical & horizontal! We got to choose 2 different templates where the guests were able to choose which template they wanted. We got the packaged with unlimited takes and he even did 2 copies for us, so guests can leave one in our photo guestbook. He had a large box of props too! He photobooth printed fast and had no glitches. He setup on time and made the guests feel very comfortable. I paid ($100) to design/upload my personal logo. On the screen it looked awesome! But the actual print-outs on the wedding day were a disappointment. The fonts and pink colors were faded and looked cheap. I was so sad. However, when Bao sent me the link for the Digital download, the photos were awesome! I was happy again because most people viewed their photos on their cell phones and the digital downloads were excellent. If you do a custom frame make sure you get a real print out (proof) of the graphic. It may look different than on the computer screen. My venue had very low lighting and I was worried of the photo quality. Bao assured me that his equipment had the proper flashes. He was right. The photos of the guest were great. The logo no so much as stated earlier. It's funny seeing my older uncles and aunts taking a photo with their cellphones of the actual print-outs (faded pink) and posting it on FB when they could have uploaded the better resolution digital prints from the downloads webpage. oh well. To me, what set Handsome Photobooth apart from other vendors was their props. I was looking for a photobooth that was similar to a Korean photobooth vibe and didn't look corny. The props Handsome photobooth provides were perfect for the aesthetic I was looking for - they are more modern than your typical photobooth, a good mix of wedding themed props, cute Korean style photobooth props and funny/meme-y props (my favorite was the open-mouthed pikachu photo)! The photo quality was also insanely good - much higher quality than all the other photobooths I've done in the past. We all look so good in the photobooth pictures! I asked Leo if he could print duplicates of every photo so I could keep a copy and he happily did so and also provided a Google Photos link to all the digital photos with + without the template right after the wedding which made it easy for us and guests to save everything. I chose a more minimal look for my template & background which was perfect for what I wanted, but he has a wide selection of backdrops and template designs to choose from! He also let me make minor adjustments to the font size of the template I chose which I appreciated. As for logistics, Leo was always very responsive over email and on the day-of the wedding he arrived on time and operated with no issues. We had the booth for 6 hours and the cost was reasonable for what I found for the Bay Area.
