Without Gina, I may not be alive today. I was misdiagnosed with an auto immune disease - interstitial cystitis , passed around like a hot potato between doctors , until a nurse recommended I go to Gina for pelvic floor physical therapy. She didn't give up on me like so many did before. She recommended a urologist who was able to confirm I didn't have IC. She had the knowledge and expertise to recognize I probably had a physical anatomical issue, was able to advocate for me and recommend the exact MRIs I needed to get to diagnose a tear which led to me learning I actually had hip dysplasia. She's gone above and beyond for me. Foundation Physical Therapy gives you the type of care I wish everyone had. Corporate healthcare made me go insane - doctors who will only want to see you for 15 min and pass you off. You won't get that here. They actually care about you and want you to get better. Gina gave me the home exercises, stretches, and pelvic wand recommendations to help me manage my pain at home. This has changed my life. Before I came here - I felt like I had no life. I felt like I had to pee every 5 min - and it psychologically wore me down combined with the pain - I'd have mental breakdowns all the time. Now, while I'm not 100%, my life is at least back. I no longer have thoughts of harming myself due to my symptoms. The internal muscle releases ARE painful but necessary to feel better. I was so anxious and worried at first because it's someone literally going into your vagina (or butt if you're a guy) and pressing on those muscles that are tight in order to release them. But Gina and her team were professional and talked me through it. Now, I do the same procedure at home with a pelvic wand and it provides me almost immediate pain relief. I was very nervous prior to my initial evaluation with Dr Gina a few months ago. All throughout the evaluation she made me feel very comfortable about my pelvic floor issues. These are things that are very uncomfortable and nerve wrecking to talk to someone about when starting out but she and the staff did an amazing job. Especially as a male you want to do your best to maintain dignity and not be embarrassed or shamed about these issues. FPT does a phenomenal job helping you along the way and does a great job explaining that sometimes these issues can be normal and are definitely fixable. During my initial evaluation we discovered an issue with my piriformis muscle too and she referred me to Dr Gary their orthopedic physical therapist. He did a great job and was very observant to my issues and took swift action and is super funny. The other therapists- Jamie, Jenn, and Veronica whom I all saw for my follow up visits are so kind and compassionate too. And don't even get me started on the exercises! The staff there really try to work you and are very knowledgeable when it comes to doing exercises to target the specified area. I was recently just successfully discharged as a patient, after struggling with Pelvic Floor Dysfunction for almost 6 months prior to coming here. Gina was my physical therapist and I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. I have been to many doctors offices, and this one, by far, blew all the others out of the water. I felt welcome, and even felt like their friend when I came. Every single person that works here is amazing. It is a small family owned PT office, and you feel as though you have known them for years. Especially in my situation, where it could have been very uncomfortable, but Gina made me feel so safe and confident we would fix my issue. After my body finally stopped being stubborn, we were able to make a breakthrough, and finally I can say I have no pain! I can't say enough good things about my experience. I came in with bursitis in my shoulder that was so painful, it kept me from even the simplest of my daily activities, including a good night's sleep. Six weeks later, I am pain-free and able to go about my routines without thinking twice. The staff at FPT may not actually be miracle workers, but they sure come close! Gary, Emilee and Erin are so kind and friendly, but also very professional. I was always greeted with a smile and I felt they were genuinely concerned with how I was doing, and they were as pleased as I was at my progress. 4 months ago a gave birth to my baby boy and I to go through vacuum delivery and episiotomy. I did not recover quick and my OBGYN recommended to visit this place and do physical therapy. I was very skeptical in the beginning thinking what they could possibly do to make me feel better again. And I was wrong, after the second session I did not have the tension anymore and after 5 sessions I was almost pain free, after my 7th session I'd say my recovery is at 95%. I got 3 more visits to have that 100%. I wish I'd gone to them right away instead of waiting for my problem to go away on it's own which it did not for this whole time, until I've met my saviors Gina and Cendi. They are great specialists, can't thank You enough! I am definitely recommending them if you have postpartum pelvic pain and want to have your life back on so many levels. read more

I was referred to Foundation Physical Therapy by a friend who went there during 2022. I am so glad I decided to go there following my Rotator Cuff Surgery. They far exceeded my recovery expectations. Gary, Matt and Tyler were a joy to work with. They work together like a well oiled machine. I knew going in that physical therapy is not always easy, but they actually made it enjoyable. I started going to Foundation Physical Therapy 11 years ago. My primary care doctor referred me to them as he always sends me to the BEST!!! I suffered with neuromuscular neck and upper back pain with bulging disks etc...I went to 2 different physical therapist up north prior, and no one helped me with that debilitating pain, until "GINA" treated me. Foundation Physical Therapy was quite effective in providing support, exercises and ongoing status for me to overcome issues from major surgery last year. Techniques not used by other PT groups worked well with me to improve by pelvic floor condition. Gina was great in her support and working to a good result. Gary is wonderful. I went to Gary with an IT band injury that I had for a couple of years. I went to a couple of massage therapists that could only relieve the pain temporally. The pain would always return. Gary worked on me for about 12 sessions and the pain is gone. This has been a couple of months ago and the pain has finally stopped for good. I was a bit skeptical at first with some of the ridiculous simple exercises but, that just worked wonderfully into the therapy. I am pain free. I recommend Foundation Physical Therapy. read more

I was referred to Dr. Gina in the fall of 2016 for pelvic floor strengthening. The treatment plan, instructions, feedback, and encouragement were been wonderful. The personal attention was great. The plan has to be worked on an ongoing basis, but I now have the confidence that it can and will work as long as I am willing to do the work to maintain it.
