After doing my research on several local places, I can honestly say picking St. Pete Physical Therapy was the best choice for my son's recovery. From day one, Stacy at the front desk was super helpful and made everything run smoothly. She communicated with the out-of-state office and kept everything organized. One of the big things that set St. Pete apart is that they have a team of Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPTs), not just regular therapists. That extra level of expertise made a huge difference in my son's recovery as recommended it would. Literally, life savers! Let me begin by saying I've never had any type of back issue in my entire…read morelife. Then out of nowhere my right leg literally gave out, I had excruciating lower back pain and a painful throbbing nerve running down my right leg.... I literally could not walk and had to use a mobile scooter for weeks, even during an already planned Vegas trip.... Please keep in my that I'm a very healthy individual that exercises daily and eats right. Long story short, I went to Swann medical and they had me up and walking with no pain in just over a week. It was truly unbelievable and I could not be more thankful. The most amazing thing was the care and various treatments I was given. I didn't just happen to start walking again.. the way they treated me was beyond belief. They started with a series of detailed evaluations, exams, X-rays, etc to find the exact problems. Then they used such a wide variety of treatments options to fix me in so many ways I could never have imagined. (Examples: decompression machine (my favorite), chiropractic adjustments, Doctor consults for additional medical requirements, massage therapy, electro therapy, therapy exercises, etc, etc) I can't express how worried I was when I first went to see them but after the first exam I just felt like I was the only person they were treating, realized they had a huge arsenal of resources to fix me, and they were never going to give up until I was fixed.
