Studio room with King sized bed.

A great value for being on the beach and having a pool. Also the Oasis Tiki Bar being located on the patio was very convenient. My studio had a nice sized mini fridge, a microwave, and a sink. It's not the fanciest place but my room was clean and it had everything I needed! I'll definitely be coming back.

Great location close to a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops. Very clean, and our room was so adorable. Great views of the ocean, and the bed was super comfortable. I was nervous because I read a few reviews that talked about it being dirty and old. However that wasn't the case judging from our stay. We had the king studio room oceanfront. Loved it and can't wait to come back! Some of the amenities were unavailable but that was due to "covid".

I'm updating my review based on a comment I received from the business owner Rich M. of the Fountain Beach Resort: "8/7/2018 Please do not leave a review for the entire hotel based upon your experience in a private unit as it has nothing to do with the resort.". I feel that based on my experience of a private unit inside the hotel does have to do with the resort. There should be some sort of monthly inspections from the resort of units to make sure they are of decent quality; after all when someone stays here in a private unit it affects their prospective of the whole resort. So here's a review of the resort: It was a little dated, but still pretty nice. It had a beauty salon/nail salon on the bottom floor, an indoor bar, and an outdoor pool bar. The pool was the best because it was an older pool that was super deep for diving into. They also have a small mini putt-putt course at the hotel. And the location can't be beat right on the beach which is a short walk to the boardwalk. I would stay here again if I go to Daytona, but I would want a nicer room than the privately owned one we stayed in previously.

    Lounge Chairs

Coming in we got told that there were issues with our original room. They accommodated us by giving us a "credit" it wasn't that big of a credit. A phone call letting us know would have been nice. We got into our room, it smelled terrible, we had to go buy air freshener and it still barely helped. We go down to the pool, it wasn't very clean. It's not like the pictures they advertise, i will give them the benefit of the doubt only because i know people come from the beach and jump right in. The pool chairs were absolutely disgusting. The only clean part about them were, where people sat and sweat. You can see the outline of whoever sat in them. Breakfast was the bare minimum. You could either have bagels, packaged muffins, oat milk, & cereal. When paying so much to stay in a "resort" you'd think you'd get a little bit more. The price of their rooms is not worth the quality you receive with everything else. There are plenty of other hotels to choose.

First we check in and right away come to our room to use the bathroom and there's no SOAP to wash our hands ok annoying....then notice awhile later there's a half smoked joint on the kitchen counter. Ok NBD but did our cleaning lady even LOOK at the counter ? Let alone wipe it down at least. Then...open the sliding closet door and there's dirty towels ‍.... AND I went to put my ice cream in the freezer part of the fridge and there's no freezer door so my drink would not freeze ! The floors were grimy, there's dirt on the walls . There's hole patches all in the bathroom , the ceiling looks like it's going to cave in and to top it off one of the beds had sand and black HAIR in the sheets !!! Like WHATTTT?! Gross gross grosss, all of it ! Will never come here again.. needs some SERIOUS upgrading. And perhaps hire some people that ACTUALLY clean the rooms. This is called a RESORT ? An extra $14 a day for resort fees ? Hell no ...

I stayed here on a recent business trip as I wanted to be close to the action. I ended up having dinner/drinks everywhere but near the immediate area of this hotel but that's on me. Anyway, while the hotel is showing its age, and some of the clientele were a bit on the scary side, the room I had was quite bright, cheerfully decorated and in good shape. The staff seemed friendly and helpful and parking was plentiful. All in all not a bad place to stay.

This hotel was right across the street from Ocean Center where we would be headed the next morning. The hotel was massive having a south and north tower with 16 floors on each side. My roommate and I were ocean front on the 12th floor, nearly in the middle of the south tower. WOW, what a view! I didn't realize until arriving to the room there was no balcony. However, you could open a regular size sliding door to see and hear the ocean. There were bars like a balcony in front of the sliding door but you could only step out one foot on the tiny platform. I left the door open while I was reading and it was so peaceful to hear the ocean;) Parking was nearly two blocks away on the opposite side of the street and across the street from the entrance of Ocean Center behind a barbecue restaurant. This was a bit of a pain pulling the luggage that far. Plus you had to go up a steep incline to get into the lobby. I could have paid an extra $20 for parking overnight if I had used the hotels valet service. No thanks lol! We did get a discount for the parking lot because we were attending the conference. Instead of $35 it was $20 (with taxes $23). The hotel was a little dated. The light over the sink flickered. But did stop after the light was on for a little bit. The beds however were up to the Hilton standard as well as the pillows, nice and comfortable. I shared the room with a friend from church. I liked the feature of having an extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. The desk chair needed replaced as the seat was very worn in. Service at the front desk was friendly and they helped answer all my questions about parking. It was a little confusing because you didn't have a ticket and I couldn't figure out how I would get out of the lot when the conference was over the next day. But the front desk attendant advised they would have someone at the exit gate to open it when the conference let out. And they did;) Thanks for a comfortable night's sleep Hilton! I would stay here again if attending a conference that included a discount code as this hotel was pretty pricey.

The water also does not go away at the sinks quickly. Really a cleanliness issue. The bath tub is broken too. Also the hotel can get some upgrade: it's really run down. Swimming pool can get an upgrade too. There is a mini fridge for you to put drinks. The beds are ok but can be better maintained. Carpet can be cleaned better. Will probably not come back to this location. Parking is $55 for valet. Opposite outdoor parking is $35 with in and out privilege and $25 per day for no in/out.

Staff was great and very helpful with any and all questions we had... it was why we ended up visiting the lighthouse farther down the coast. The room we had was perfect. It had a full mini kitchen with a two burner stove, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. It had dishes, cups, dish soap, towels.... You name it ... they had it. The only thing that was little weird was the bottom of the door to our room... the floor or something was slanted... and the bottom let in a lot of light from the outside... we put a towel down there to cover it. We had such a wonderful time here and they even provided a continental breakfast. The beach is not even 10 to 15 steps away and you can sit outside and watch the sun rise or set. Give this place a try... we hope to come back one day.

Staff were super friendly; the lobby area and dining room were kept immaculately clean. They have a small exercise room, a great pool, and a hot tub. They have parking all around the exterior of the hotel and an overflow parking in an underground garage. I actually preferred parking in the garage because the elevator takes you right to the lobby or your floor, very convenient! Our room was 606 and it had a spectacular view of the beach, skyline, neighboring hotels, and street. We also had a balcony with two seats which were great. The room was very nice and has been modernized with new kitchen equipment, faucets, a medium sized refrigerator, television, USB charging lamps and receptacles, and free WIFI (no password required). Overall, we were quite happy with our room; however, there were some issues. (1) One of our pillow cases was filthy. It either had makeup/dirt and lipstick/or blood on it. It was Nasty so we just threw it to the side and grabbed one of the backups in the closet for the evening. (2) The toilet does not have its own door on it. The bathroom is large enough for two people to multitask in there when getting ready and the toilet is somewhat closed in with its own wall so why not just add the door, pocket door, or at the very least an accordion door for privacy. (3) For the amount of money guests spend to stay at this hotel why don't they provide coffee or tea in the lobby as part of the guest's amenities. We always look forward to a hot cup of coffee in the lobby of where were staying, once we get settled-in. Their coffee machine is on lockdown until the continental breakfast; alternatively, the coffee in the room is pretty bland. (4) The continental breakfast is nothing special but at least they do offer one, so thank you for that. The breakfast consists of mostly carbohydrates - packaged muffins and Danishes (still partially frozen), packaged grits, oatmeal, and cereal. Packaged bagels, Yoplait Yogurt with the Biomechanically Engineered Ingredients Included. The only thing someone prepared was pancakes. I literally arrived right when they opened at 7:30am and the pancakes were stuck together and somewhat damp like they were cooked an hour ago and kept in this warmer. The only protein you will find is hardboiled eggs and Jiff Peanut Butter. The coffee was ok, but not strong enough for me, too much like coffee water. It was better than nothing at all but I still think they could do better. Overall, we were pretty happy with our stay. The only thing that creeped me out was that dirty pillow. I don't know how that was missed during the cleaning process; regardless, if I needed a place to stay again while partying at the Ocean Center I would return.

We felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. I always take along my own cleaning supplies when we travel since some places are not as clean as I prefer. I was so impressed with the cleaning done prior to our arrival--and as I said, I have very high standards. Even the ceiling fans were clean! That is unusual. The floors could have been cleaner, but the rest was immaculate. The staff, with the exception of one older lady at the front desk, went out of their way to be super friendly. Being that we were there for three weeks, we even developed friendships with some of them. Echo, Eliza, Cassie, and Jorge were some of our favorites. We did have some noisy neighbors above us one night--people who were obviously celebrating and enjoying one another's company. When the fun continued beyond 11 pm, I contacted the front desk. The older lady working that shift could have been nicer, but the female security guard who responded promptly made up for her. We understand that the guests above us were having a great time and likely forgot the time. However, they quieted down immediately and we were able to sleep in peace after that. The other guests staying at the resort were all kind and friendly as well. We never met one rude person. Instead, we made some new friends that we plan to stay in touch with as time goes on. We felt comfortable leaving our bags by our chairs near the pool if we needed to go in and use the restroom. It's just that kind of place and we are pleased to say we found other Bluegreen owners to be a lot like us--friendly and kind. Bluegreen owners, as a general rule, are like this at other resorts too. Our experiences at Bluegreen over the past twenty years have been a lot like this one, although I would say that this was THE cleanest resort we've had yet. Would we stay again? One thousand times, YES, and with pleasure.
