This place always seems to be popping when I stop in, went here twice over my work trip weekend cause the coffee was so good! I tried out a build your own breakfast sandwich that was filling & fresh. I definitely recommend stopping in here to at least try a latte if not a full meal! Cute interior in this establishment, lots of seating and the lighting is aesthetic. The art on the walls brings together the whole space as a cool place to stop in for a coffee or to work from for the day! read more

My first visit here was on 8/21/24 with my Sister, Michele. We were both off on a weekday so we decided to go downtown to get some coffee and walk at the riverfront. It's located in the Banks Food Hall. The Food Hall was surprisingly empty which was strange. I'm used to seeing it crowded. But then again, we usually would go here on weekends. The worker was nice and friendly. I ordered the Grilled pineapple Latte and my sister ordered the Butter Beer Latte. Both were delicious! We walked around the riverfront with our drinks, spent quality time and enjoyed the day. I would like to return again and try other drinks to include the food items. read more

I would say that this is one of my favorite coffee shops in Columbus, Georgia. Since the day I moved here, I've definitely had at least one cup of coffee every single week from them, and I don't regret a single cup. They have some of the most eclectic flavors and combinations. Not only are their coffees, Matchas, and teas very delicious, but their bakery items are also fresh and yummy and go very fast in the mornings. Their service is always great, with the smiling face behind the register. And the ambience of the coffee shop is a great spot to get a coffee, a snack and to sit down at a table and work. Their hours are also pretty fantastic, open until 7p most days. Highly recommend! read more

So happy to have finally tried Fountain City Coffee. I love the cozy, artsy vibe in here. Feels very coffee shop. I'd been going to Iron Bank so much being new to this area I knew Fountain was around the corner but I hadn't stopped in yet. My son and I came in Tuesday afternoon . Great service! We ordered the tiger king and another special that I can't recall the name of. Both were unique and delicious, not too overpowering with the coffee flavor but not purely syrup either, well balanced. Nice cozy place that has a welcoming atmosphere, even with a bit of a line and a packed place we still got our coffees pretty fast, maybe a 5-6 minute wait. Came in to order a coffee and check the area out. The entire time I was in there one of the employees was constantly complaining about the customers in the coffee shop. She then corrected the very nice man that actually took my order and said that he should have rung it up as a different drink so he could charge more. Then when she handed me my drink she told me I should have just ordered my drink differently. I got the exact order I wanted and ordered. I'm familiar with her "correction" and there's a reason I order my way, it's my coffee. So rude. read more

Sunday afternoon along the River Walk and yesterday it was a cool day with misty rain. Found this coffee house and needed a cup of Joe to warm the soul. You place your order and in a few minutes your name is called. The coffee was fresh and hot. Excellent flavor and best of all no grounds in the bottom of the cup. The shop sells some cookies and pastries. Did not try but they looked appealing. You share a seating area with others since this coffee house shares space with other vendors. The dining area was on the loud side with several screens on and the volume on each tries to get your attention Restrooms are shared and they were very clean. I had the seasonal one named Merry Christmas Malfoy (matcha, mint, vanilla). As a fan of coffee, I asked them to add 1 Expresso shot, which was very sweet at first but it's much better after the ice melted. I loved it because it's sweet and strong. Everything was blended together but I could still differentiate the taste of matcha, coffee, and mint (not so much for vanilla, which I don't mind at all). My husband got a brownie and it was so good melting in my mouth. The team was young, fun, and professional. Thank you for making a good sweet drink if you read this. We were in Columbus for a visit to the museum and yelped a place for coffee this place came highly recommended and I see why. The place was cozy, we didn't have much time to stay but was nice while we waited on our beverages. The folks behind the counter were super kind and answered any questions we had. The drinks we got were tasty! I'm pretty sure they didn't make mine right because it tasted Nothing like the flavors I ordered, but I enjoyed it anyway so all is well. I love visiting fountain city coffee. The drinks are very flavorful and well-caffeinated to keep you energetic throughout the day. I've gotten food here before and it has been good. This coffee shop was very nice and had a "homy" feel to it. Visiting from out of town this was our first time and we got an iced snickers latte and a Frodo (specialty drink - if you like cortados think slightly bigger and cold). Both were very good. Different options for seating include sofas, chairs and tables - great for all sorts of gathering or study. The Baristas were also very friendly and informative on the menu. read more

I've been here many times and it's a cool little spot. The coffee is good but the options they have of flavored coffees are all very similar. Not too bad on pricing, especially for the area. Some employees are more polite than others but that's anywhere you go. I will say the artwork décor definitely lends a hand to the art school nearby. read more

This was a tip from a new friend, and she has cemented herself as a trusted guide for all her recommendations. This is an awesome spot for coffee, tea (try the grapefruit oolong!) and a yummy baked good. Wish I had asked the bagel flavors (cherry pistachio? Super cute cafe with very friendly staff! I can see myself relaxing here for hours. They had tons of unique flavors, and although my fiancé always just gets black coffee or a shot of espresso, even he was entranced with their flavors and ended up loving his coffee! I got the honey vanilla latte which was so tasty and definitely got the job done because I was up till late at night! If I'm ever in town again, I'm definitely stopping by again. read more

This is a nice coffee shop. Its on a nice corner, nice outside, nice inside. Good ambiance, good space and good seating. Friendly staff. I saw Pokémon card ear rings there once! And that was strangely very cool. Not a Pokémon fan at all but that was cool, so shoutout, you know they've got some pretty cool staff. They work rather quickly and they make some pretty good coffee! Coming here was such a pleasant experience. I just moved to the area from Colorado and I have been searching high and low for a coffee shop to spend my mornings studying at. Coffee is delicious, service is excellent, and the place is very homie and cozy. Definitely a great place to relax and study. It was a hard choice, considering there are a lot of coffee shops, but I'm pretty sure I picked the best one. Love this coffee!! You can tell it's great because most of the customers seemed to be common guests. Love that there is a wall where we can write with chalk lol. I sat at the bar and the employee would talk to us and explain the menu and everything, he was very nice. It was an enjoyable and relaxing experience. If I lived here, I'd be a frequent customer. After I wrote this review, I had to edit it and mention that they have a free refill policy if you stay and a 50% off refill policy if you leave! That is awesome! read more

On one visit, got the Mediterranean quiche, which is gluten free (all their quiches are crustless!) and it was honestly one of the best quiches I've ever had, even before developing a gluten allergy. Extremely cheesy and flavorful. Very cute, fun, high energy cafe.
