We rented from Tom for 2 years and he and Sammantha were by far the best we've ever dealt with. They were always extremely professional and prompt when there was an issue. We took care of the home (as you should) and when we moved out, received our entire deposit back. I don't have anything negative to say about them. They are human, kind, caring, and professional. we rented a house on sawyer street from the beginning when we dined our papers they said someone was going to be fixing the roof I said that's cool someone who cares about there property we asked out of curiosity if they were planning to sell the home they said no so we signed the papers we lived there asked to do anything had to deal wit's a non pleasant old lady reported everything then they paint the house again I have emails asking if they were going to sell the house they said no just wanted to update it we said cool someone who cares we continued to stay stated gardens my kids were happy 5 kids. then they do rock removal in the front lawn again I have emails asking if they we're going to sell they said no had inspecions throughout the time my kids used the garage to hang out with teen friends so not gonna lie it was messy but that was it had a lease inspection renewal tom seen the garage and just said since there is a tv in the garage then it would be a little rent increase we said okay no proble. then a big branch fell on the fence after a really windy day not long after my lease renewal I reported it and still had work and kids and a broken tree to clean up after that so I forgot about filling out my renewal they sent me and because I forgot to send the new lease back that same month then boom we get notice the owner is selling the house and we had 30 days to move so after renewing our lease and not be a good human and reminding me about the lease they used it against me to get me and my kids out instead of just telling me they were selling and it was in progress already I talked to the lady that bout it and moved in not short after I had to leave I had to leave so much stuff behind because they were just looking to get money to sell then to think of people lives I talked to an attorney and she said I had a case but I ultimately decided not to persue I would have lost time at work and lose income and I could not do that with kids I know I can still file but my stuff is gone and I can't get it back just trust your gut if they fix up your property I have emails and the new lease and all there responses to me asking if they were selling didnt get my deposit back because I didn't have time to even figure out where we were going let alone be able to get all my stuff out. read more

Tom Fountain has been in the rental business for fifty years. It was his passion. My rental was filthy and had many glaring issues, which upon moving out they capitalized on. While Tom is great the people he hires are not. Fountain Realty is now just another slum lord because Tom's heart just isn't in it anymore. read more

I wanted to write a quick update since we just moved out....Samantha and Tom were great. They refunded our deposit within 2.5 weeks. They were completely fair when it came to what they took out. There was a $79 re-key fee, which was in the contract (and totally expected) and a carpet cleaning fee (which I asked them to take out of my deposit...long story but I wanted them to use their cleaner). The carpet cleaning fee was very reasonable and I don't feel like their cleaner overcharged me at all. Additionally, I did have to call them a few times for minor problems (roof leak and holes in the fence). Each time, they had their people come out quickly and repair the issues (on a time that was convenient for me). If I ever had to rent again, I would definitely rent from Fountain Realty! read more

This company wanted to paint a house next to mine, they sent the elderly tenants who do not speak English to me to ask if their painters could go in my yard. I explained to the couple that I had equipment in the yard and I would have to do a bunch of work to move it and declined, they where very nice and understood . Fountain Realty wrote my landlord telling him I refused to cooperate and then they let their painters jump the fence, move my stuff and paint away. When I contacted my landlord he told me that a lady at fountain head even said I was very pleasant....I never spoke with anyone from Fountain head, Fountain Realty has no problem putting words in your mouth and strangers in your yard. What a great experience I had here. Small little place but great place to work with. You start out pulling up to this really cool older brick house. One small issue is the parking is strange, however there is a nice parking lot one house down. Once you walk if you are greeted by the nicest lady ever. Sam is really cool! I called in advance before coming in to make sure I did everything necessary for my application. She remembered talking to me, let me know how the process worked and wished me luck. She said it takes about a day to get everything processed and would let me know the fallowing afternoon. The fallowing afternoon almost the time Sam told me I got a call from Tom letting me know I was selected to rent the house. He asked me when I wanted to sign the lease, I said ASAP he set it up for the next morning. Looked at the house on Thursday and had the keys by Saturday in this market that's good. I was really painless lease signing, they where all prepared for me to be there. Tom explained everything in the lease very well made me feel very welcome! Highly recommend checking these guys out for your real-estate needs!!!! They are pet friendly! My pooch was invited to the lease signing. read more

If you are looking for a company to rent from, this is not the place. When it came time to move out, we cleaned and cleaned to make sure that the home was super clean. When it was time to get the deposit back we were charged $295 for cleaning and $275 to have them pull weeds in the tiny back yard. The realty company uses their own in house service to clean and do used work so they can get away with charging whatever they want. After threatening to sue they finally agreed to refund some of the exorbitant fees back to me. read more
