Huge fan of Four Corners--we came here because of the Dallasites101 brewery passport, and plan to be regulars here. We happened to stop by when one of the founders (Greg) was visiting, and he was incredibly down to earth and told us stories of their humble beginnings ten years ago. We also met the king of the taproom, Rob, and he really knows what he is doing as the beer tastes amazing. Had such a wonderful experience here and will definitely be back! Their beers are awesome! Been a fan of them for a while and finally got to check out the new location. Their seating section is pretty extensive, definitely a chill place to go grab a drink before going out. My friend and I decided to get the chicken & waffles and it wasn't the best idea. If you're into a lot of different spices you might like it but it had a mixture of honey and a bit of kick to it. The chicken had a weird texture and the waffle was kind of hard. We weren't a fan. I would just stick to their drinks next time I go. read more

I cannot tell you how excited I am to have yet another local craft brewery in Dallas. It seems like yesterday that we didn't have one (and by yesterday, I mean 2010), and now we have 4, not counting Rahr and Franconia of course. Side note: major lulz to the reviewer criticizing the brewery for being "wayyyyy to [sic] late" into the Dallas craft scene. Yeah, being in the first 4 is way late, bro. Anyways, onto the brewery and beers themselves. The Red Roja and Buzz were the only beers that I had because I was busy asking about the current fermenters they had and any plans to upgrade, as several other locals are doing now. The tour and being able to walk around the brewery itself was a very cool setup. Not as good as Lakewood, but better than Rahr. This was my 28th brewery to tour and it definitely stands up to the rest if you are really into the process of beer. Also a much more directed view of things than the Peticolas tour. Note that the beer will only get better from here. I remember having the Backslider Blonde at the DEBC opening and only finding out a few weeks later that they rushed it out to have more beers for the opening. Now, we have a variety of edgy crafts that stand alongside much larger, national breweries. Stop reading this and go support your local brewery! Think global, drink local. read more

Local Buzz ftmfw! Come here asap and check out their tour. What's cool about their tour? It's free and all you have to do is buy a $5 pint glass (which you keep) and you can drink all the beer you can. It hits you FAST. I couldn't get enough of their Local Buzz one because it has a lovely sweet finish. The darkest one was pretty good but it was a little heavy for my particular taste. You get to serve yourself (how awesome is that?) so how much you pour is up to you. The parking situation is really easy. There is a parking lot thankfully and lots of food options down the street in case you get hungry. There's also a bar there so if you miss the tour, you can have a seat and grab yourself a cold one. There are tasting flights I believe- I suggest getting one you can experience all the flavors. It's not the biggest brewery I've been to but it is one of the best. read more

Gah, I do love a good brewery tour. Or even, when you don't get a tour and you just go to where the beer is born and drink from the tap. I don't need no steenkin' talk again about hops and barley and yada yada yada. Let's drink! I went to Four Corners for the Super Bee Saison release. It was very tasty and tasted perfect on a warm spring night. There's a tire swing that I really really wanted to get into and depsite coaxing, I just couldn't see doing with short skirt on. But next time, it's ON. They had a few other beers on tap, and I tried and loved them all. Also, good restroom facilities. You know how important that is with the whole beer in/beer out nature thing. There were lots of tables outside to sit in and we had a great time laughing and talking with friends. The brewers were friendly, excited about their newest creation, and everyone had a great time. I have a feeling that we will frequent Four Corners Brewing Co. whenever we're looking to hang out in the Trinity Groves area. I believe that you're allowed to park in either the lot connected to this brewery, or the one right across the street and pop between either venue which makes it very convenient to spend several hours around here. The biggest downfall of this place is how tiny the seating area is, though they have options both inside and outside. On your way to the bathroom, you might also stumble upon some corn hole. They also have pretty cool designs for t-shirts so we made sure to pick one up. My husband was saying how crazy cheap their beers are here and was pretty tasty! Next time we hope to make it for one of their tours, which looks like you can reserve a spot ahead of time. read more

We had a long wait at a restaurant across the street, so we decided to stop in for a beer. The bartender was very friendly and served us despite an upcoming private party that evening. We tried their sample size of every beer they had on tap and honestly enjoyed each and every one. Even the blends! Never heard of a brewery blending kegs before, so that was interesting! There are patio tables outside and seating inside as well. The bar is funky and cool and I would hang out there often if I lived closer. It opens up to a full view of the brewery and has an interesting atmosphere. Saturday is free tours and samples in the afternoon- very popular. Check their site for specific times. Sundays are 3$ pint day and they're open in the evenings as well. I really like that they're trying bring people in by opening their doors more than a typical brewery. Started our Dallas brewery hop here on Saturday. The stout here was tasty and the price was good like most breweries. Seating inside is very small. They have a few benches and random chairs outside. We didn't stay here for very long, it was just a good place to meet up with our group. We don't go to Dallas often, so we probably won't be back here for a while, but if we are ever in the area I wouldn't mind stopping in for a stout. read more

I first saw Four Corners on complete accident while eating at LUCK and parking right next to a brewery. Hooray! It had an open sign brightly lit even late at night - an advantage of the new tap rooms we are getting. Small bar inside a small room. Nicely done and spacious for its size. Until the bar line gets long, that is. But all in all, it's fairly comfy and a nice bar to sit at. The front has a small patio. A few chairs out there to sit and plenty of room to set up a folding camp chair. The brewery seems to host events fairly often. I feel like I've seen more than one wedding happening in the brewery portion. Beer is good! And Four Corners has an interesting can situation. The whole top pulls off like an old pop-top. As for the beers, the Heart o' Texas is a red with a friendly bitterness, but the honey wheat lacks character of any kind. This is an ok stop before hitting the restaurants of Trinity Groves. This brewery is very cool. Coming from brewery mecca in New England, my expectations are often skewed. Four corners did not disappoint . First of all the space is amazing and very funky. Complete with tire swing, gear shed, bicycle ice cream truck beer deliverers. The artwork is also awesome - simple yet recognizable. If we see Four Corners beer - we are going to know it's them. The format is that you pay for a sample flight and you can also purchase draft pours. We loved the Local Buzz - very refreshing and with the perfect hint of honey. What was really nice was that one of the staff gave us some nice stickers and poster when we asked. Being from out of town it is fun to be able to collect souvenirs from our travels. If back in the DFW area - we'll stop by again to see how they've expanded. read more

I should be completely honest about the following review.....it's slightly biased because I won a beard competition here during Meat Fight 2013...judged by Nick Offerman. That being said....and disregarded by you the reader....this really is a fantastic brewery. Their beer is better than good...it's great. The atmosphere of the brewery is one of the best here in DFW. Fun and funky with friendly owners and a very knowledgeable staff. Their tour is like most other breweries around...except you kind of feel like your a king (or queen) sometimes...well I felt like I was a king....i was definitely the king of the tire swing!!! The El Chignon is my favorite brew here....if you're an IPA fan you should definitely try it.....who am I kidding...you need to try it all....pretend your flight glass is scepter and pretend you're a king for a day...or a few hours out of a day. read more

Came here last night. The taproom isn't as cool and quirky as Deep Ellum. But it's a nice little bar to sit and have a few pints. We started off with a flight of samples as we had only had local buzz before. The stand out beer for me was the new homie brew, a Texas steam - it was soo good. FC are out of block party for the time being, my boyfriend drunk them out of it - no, seriously. The only one thing that annoys me, is they don't do free glasses!! Not even on Saturday tours! They serve your beer in plain pint glasses. Glasses to buy are $5. Still, it was a cool place. read more

ATMOSPHERE: 5 Like most breweries, Four Corners Brewing Co. is located in an industrial area surrounded by not much. The brewery is in a barn-esque building that is brightly painted on the side with its name and its logo, the rooster. I love how colorful the brewery is not only in their name/logo, but in their beers. What you'll notice when you first walk in are posters of their beers that all have a different colorful logo. These posters were inspired by "loterias," which are hispanic bingo cards. Personally, I love how fun these are and think they make the beer a lot of more memorable! Come here to enjoy a beer outside, inside at the small bar, or go on one of their free scheduled tours where they all want you to do is try their beer - no complaints here! BEER: 4 Like I previously mentioned, going on their tour means you get to try all their beers, which I obviously did. 1. Local Buzz - Their oldest beer, but a classic! This is a honey rye ale that is light, refreshing, but has a slight hop to it. 2. Block Party - A porter that is not too roasty and very drinkable. I am bigger fan of the fuller bodied, roastier porters, but for those who aren't into that, you'll like the block party. 3. Chingon IPA - An IPA that has a slight sweetness to it at first but finishes with hoppier notes. I recommend getting this one or the local buzz. 4. Red's Roja - Sweet from the caramel tones, but was balanced by some bitterness. A great balance of sweetness and bitterness. A great choice as well. Also fun fact, all their beers are in can and not bottles. AND the lids of the cans come off completely from the can to mimic a glass. Supposedly this is illegal in most states (say what), but not Texas. Another thing...no growler fills here and unfortunately no food either. SERVICE: 5 Got a tour with one of the owners who was down to earth and friendly. The bartenders were also nice and chill about you asking for samples, because you know at some places you can expect to get a glare if you dare ask for samples. So I was sitting down at the bar and something went wrong with their tap and the beer came jet streaming right at me and got all over my arm. "For my troubles" the bartender gave me and my bf to pint glasses (!!!). read more

So, I feel really horrible giving any brewery tour only 3 stars.... But unfortunately I feel like it was a 3 star experience. Hey - yelp still describes 3 stars as "A-OK" (which I picture giving the hand symbol with your 3 fingers from the middle to the pinky up, forming a circle with your index finger and thumb), which is still decent. The tour wasn't much of a "tour" in the sense that I've usually seen at a brewery, but this wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The brewery was set up like a huge open warehouse, which I loved. They had a storage container built into the building, almost as an entryway which was really cool. However, they did note that in the near future all the open space we were standing in would be taken over by bottling equipment etc, so I'm not sure what the future tours will be like. Basically two of the owners spoke for a couple of minutes each - one on the history and one on the actual brewing process. The first one on the mic announced "if you're wanting to participate in the tour, come over to this corner". The entirety of their speeches were under 10 minutes combined, so if you're a fan of an abbreviated tour then this was great! I did find the history interesting and would like to know where the 4 corners of the streets that met were! Beer : Given, I tend to lean more towards IPAs or belgian style beers, but rarely do I run into a beer I just don't like. Also keep in mind this is literally just my opinion or preference, so everyone else (besides my boyfriend who I was with) might absolutely love these beers. They just weren't my taste. Between us we had pints of each of the 4 beers they offered - the Local Buzz ( a honey ale), a brown ale and a pale ale that I can't recall the names of at the moment and a red ale named Red's Roja. Red's Roja was definitely my favorite, but I likely wouldn't personally order it at a bar. Unless maybe only domestics/non craft beer were all that were available. The BF liked the brown ale the best - also they advertised a "Block Party Porter" to come in January. 3 beers for $10 plus a souvenir pint glass to add to the collection is a really good deal though, and I loved that they had little wooden coins to redeem versus the typical raffle ticket-esque model. I did really like how open the space was, and I think the addition of a couple of sets of cornhole or maybe cowboy golf or something would be great - they certainly have the room for it. The live music was a great touch, albeit a bit loud (I love live music possibly more than most people, but you literally couldn't have a conversation over the music if sitting at the picnic table/bench/stool area outside. So if you're trying to have a convo you're better off just standing around inside :) Nonetheless, the addition of any local breweries that are kind and generous enough to open their doors to the public are awesome in my book so I wish them the best of luck and hope they do wonderfully read more

South of downtown, Four Corners Brewing Co. allows Dallas to tack on yet another cool point. With some hand-crafted booze being distributed, this new kid on the block has tapped into a booming industry in D-Town. Now, when you D-Town boogie, it does not just mean Grey Goose and Red Bull or Amstel Light. Specifically, their Rojo Red stands a head above the rest. For a local brew, this guy swept me off my beer-snobbery feet. It packed a punch, yet had enough smooth for quality drinkability. Twas an enjoyable beer. FCBC has started to ramp up its tours and distribution, and I hold, in faith, onto the confidence that this anti-corporate establishment will make it big. If there ever was a revival in the poorer parts of large cities, it would be spearheaded by the movement and trend of quality, nuanced beer. With higher alcohol content than any of those observed during the Super Bowl halftime--though the commercials are hilarious, I will admit. read more

One of my favorite breweries in Dallas! Great selection of beers for all different types of palettes. They have corn hole in the outdoor area, plenty of parking, and trivia on Sundays! Very laidback atmosphere by all the big restaurants in Trinity Groves! They have six beers currently available, and with deals like 4-beer flights for $7 and all six for $10, I knew I had to go for a flight. They really do have something for everyone, regardless of your beer preference. My personal favorites were The Local Buzz and Santana Ray. I'm glad I did the flight first so I know what to get the next time I come! The bartender, Trina I believe, was very nice and welcomed us when we said it was our first time there. The people there seemed to all be regulars, everyone was very comfortable with one another. I didn't see any games, so if you're coming here make sure you have company that can keep up a conversation. read more

Absolutely excellent place for delicious beer, good conversation, and fun game nights. We always set a side one night of our Texas State Fair trip to come have tacos and play loteria. The bartenders are super friendly and very attentive. You cannot go wrong coming here. Went here for the first time St Patrick's day weekend. They have an outdoor and an indoor area, both are huge with plenty of room! The environment is really funny, there is corn hole, ping pong, connect four, and jenga to play while you hangout and enjoy your beer. We first heard of this place through buying a six pack at Whole Foods of the Local Buzz, mostly selected because of the unique can (whole lid comes off, much like a glass). The beer was smooth and delicious, an excellent choice for either craft beer newbs or experts. Extremely drinkable. We looked up the location and were delighted to find it's only about a mile and a half from where we live, so we rode our bikes there via the new pedestrian bridge (used to be Continental Ave bridge) and have been regulars ever since. The pints are $5 and on Sundays and Mondays we have gotten them for $3 (not sure if this is an ongoing special or just sometimes). LUCK at the trinity groves next door also has $5 pints of local beer so we like to ride our bikes over and hit both places. The bartenders are always very nice, and the atmosphere is great. A nice, air-conditioned, dark respite from the texas heat. When it's not so hot they have some seating outside that is totally enough for the amount of customers they have now, but as business picks up they definitely have room to expand into a patio-type area and I hope they do. I wouldn't say any of their beers is an all-time, hands-down, you MUST try this favorite, but they are all very good. They serve blends which are always new and interesting, and one time when we went they were infusing one with coffee beans. There was something going on with the machine so it wasn't making the infusion cold, and the bartender apologized and i think he gave us that one for free since it wasn't cold... but OMG IT WAS STUPID DELICIOUS. We haven't seen any "infusions" since that one time but I hope they figure out how to get it cold and do it again. It was really, really, really good. read more

Good beer Good crowd on a Saturday afternoon. They have a free tour but we missed it and then realized it was late and then just figured we hang around. Its an open warehouse with the tap room in an enclosed area. Also there was a paleta cart that appears to have been modified to accommodate beer. People had their dogs but it was really hot out. no doggy water bowls? definitely worth checking out! Even got myself a tshirt! This is one of my favorite breweries in Dallas. My boyfriend and I had each had a flight and just relaxed and played ping pong for awhile! We tried 8 different beers and each of them were great.
