    Smoked Brisket Tacos

Looked for a brunch place and found this. The waiter had a a lot of great recommendations and I ended up getting the breakfast tacos with their bbq brisket. And boy was that a great choice, the picture doesn't do it justice. The food came out quick and was definitely fresh. Enjoyed it!

I enjoyed my first experience at Sundown at Granada! We were a group of 6 and arrived at 4 PM on a Saturday and were seated immediately. I'd say that the cocktails are reasonably priced compared to other spots in Dallas. I was impressed by how quickly our food came out. Otherwise, service was pretty standard. I ordered the Spicy Southwestern Quinoa with chicken, which was super delicious and flavorful! I don't have a high spice tolerance, and I felt like it wasn't super spicy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor seating area is well equipped with fans and water mists to help with the Texas heat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside, there's a stage where they host live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would totally come back, especially for their happy hour brunch deals! I mean, how could I pass up $2 mimosas?!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great chill brunch in Dallas with a large patio as well as inside seating available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ressies were later than I liked so I called and they got us in earlier. We enjoyed the French toast, mimosa bucket(grapefruit), chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, and more. Service was good, people were friendly.

The inside is lacking but they have do have a really good multilevel outdoor patio which is mainly the reason people end up going. The food is decent but they have $2 mimosas and a $12 mimosa carafe so you can't really beat that!

This is a convenient place to grab a bite before a concert at the Granada. The food was okay. The burger was decent but not remarkable. The grilled cheese had promise but not much flavor, only the jam stood out in the flavor profile of the sandwich. The bread, however was nicely done. We sat outside and that was nice and the wait staff was okay. We did not get drink refills without asking

    Crab Cake Benedict

I really enjoyed my brunch experience. Our server, I don't remember her name unfortunately, was very kind and super attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside facing Greenville Ave, 1st floor, close to the entrance. It was nice to be able to see the hustle and bustle on the street while still enjoying our experience at the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friend & I ordered the carafe which was perfect for the both of us. We also both ordered the Crab Cake Benedict. It was soo delicious! You could tell the crab cake was made with lots of crab meat and an acceptable amount of fillers. It was fork tender and didn't fall apart. The potatoes were a hidden gem. They were super crispy and the relish on top helped balance it all out. The crab cake itself again was the star and shined very brightly. I will be back just for that! I ordered the crème brûlée to go for a sweet treat later, it's the perfect sweetness but not as smooth as I'd like for a crème brûlée.. Still, very good though.

Food was average. Service was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance, I was apart of a large group and we ended up seating outside. They have fans however Texas humidity is unmatched.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Buddha burger and sweet potato fries

I spent a weekend in Dallas, and staked out the best places to get mimosas outside. And sundown at Granada popped up. This place is great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have plenty of outdoor seating, as well as some indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a very extensive menu, to include Bruch and dinner offerings. And lots of drink specials. They do two dollar mimosas every day, as well as $12 carafes. The service is very good, or at least in my experience. It was a busy Mother's Day when I went. But the place ran like a well oiled machine. It is right beside the Granada music venue. So it would seem if you were going to a show, that would be the best pre-or post drink place. They have valet parking in a parking lot right up front, but there's also plenty of street parking on the surrounding neighborhood streets. I have the Buddha burger, which is a veggie patty. I wasn't expecting it to be purple, but it was tasty. And the sweet potato fries were just OK. The mimosas were where it's at! Definitely worth a try for brunch or a lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's nice to just sit outside and people watch there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My gf and I were looking for a place to visit for brunch. Since it was after 3, we figured we wouldn't have a lot of options. While searching for nearby places, we saw that brunch here didn't end until 4. So we decided to give it try. We made reservations even though I don't think they were needed as the place steady but not extremely busy. Upon arrival, the hostess was nice and asked if we wanted outside or in. Since it was such a beautiful day, we opted to sit outside on the patio. The patio is spacious with wooden high tops. There's also fans which is nice and tv just in case anyone wants to catch a game or two. And great for people watching as well. Once sat, our waiter came over after a few minutes. He was extremely nice and personable! We decided on mimosas of course; a carafe with orange and cranberry juice. The sparkling wine was actually very good alone which was a pleasant surprise. We also started with chips and white queso which was tasty. After a few mimosas we were ready to eat. We ordered the Sundown Burger and the Fried Chicken & Biscuits. The burger and waffle fries were flavorful and cooked well. The Fried Chicken was good but the biscuit a bit on the dry side. Overall, it's a solid spot that we'd definitely visit again!

I went here on a really really cool day after walking in the Martin Luther King Jr. day parade with my sorority sisters, and I want to say that this is my second time at this establishment, but this time the food was so good I had some sort of egg on hollandaise and bread, and it was so good! The service was really good, and our waiter was attentive and the vibes inside it was pretty calm, and we were able to talk to each other and hear each other. No loud music here!

Bloody Mary's & mimosas are great! Especially the $2 mimosas during brunch!! Food good as well. Server was super kind & attentive.

I've been here several times for brunch on the patio and the food and the service has always been really good. This time, we tried out the Movie Night Tuesdays on the rooftop and we had a blast !! We ordered the Mediterranean Plate to split and the fried bird sandwich. They were both so tasty and the service was speedy. The movie was free (we saw Beetlejuice) and there's free valet to help you park (which was so convenient). Overall we really enjoyed ! I highly recommend trying them for brunch and for their fun movie night Tuesdays!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Now the vibe was vibing we sat outside[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] now our waiter when he finally came we had to hurry and placed our order while we had his attention. I didn't get a pic of the Quesadilla 5/10 they said wasn't really a shareable and didn't have enough chicken that the had to oder another one and or Brisket loaded fries 10/10. Heads up they do add the tip into your balance. Parking, you had to pay for parking or valet but if you don't mind walking you can park down by the 711 for free.

Ask the Community - Sundown at Granada

    Is the rooftop heated?

    Yes

Are they dog friendly on the patio?

I was there over a week ago and I saw some pups on the lower area patio. Not sure about the roof top though. Hope that helps :)

What are the self park options?

Self parking would be in the neighborhoods around it... there is no parking on the main street (Greenville) and their attached parking lot is Valet only.

    Is brunch kid friendly?

We always welcome kids at Brunch! Bring the pup too!

Can we eat dinner at your restaurant on New Year's Eve without going to the show?

    Yes, make a reservation

    Are there metal detectors?

    No there aren't metal detectors.

When is happy hour? Do they have it on Fridays?

Happy hour runs 7 days a week from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Does anyone know if they have Some type of cool air for the terrace? Like those type of fans for outside that blow cool air. Anyone.?

They have fans that blow cool air + mist.

    How much is valet parking?

    $8

Think I heard it holds about 400 people. There's a bar in the back, and a bar to the side of the stage, so it was pretty easy to get a drink at all times (important!). I can't really comment about the sound because the Buzzcocks played LOUD, but I enjoyed it, even when I went deaf. The opening band wasn't really my cup of tea, so we all went out to the patio. A huge patio at that. It was fun looking at the Dallas skyline and watching the hoochie mama's below going to the Pittpull concert. Hello silicone, but I digress. I didn't really mind paying $4.50 for weak cocktails, or $4 for Shiner, even when it was poured in a plastic cup. The bathroom attendant was so unnecessary, though. Is she always there? There are only two bathroom sinks, and we were at a punk show ferfucksake. Any who. I felt the venue was solid for what it does, and the fact that I was able to get so close to punk legends sealed the deal.

That can only be accomplished by being up close and personal. The loft is so much more intimate than the Palladium below. The bartenders can get busy, especially between sets, but don't worry they'll get to you. Between sets take a breather on their awesome balcony. Take some pics with your friend/significant other with the Dallas skyline. With all these positive marks you would expect a 5 star review. Sadly, the band line up is pretty limited. My favorite recurring band are the Spazmatics. I wish they could take a cue from Granada's rotation. Still, if your favorite band comes, it's a no brainer! Band with a view

Silo Dallas is a masterclass in how not to run a venue. From blatant safety concerns to baffling…read moredesign choices and outright hostility toward patrons, it's hard to imagine how this place continues to operate the way it does. Let's start with safety, because it's genuinely alarming. The venue is riddled with dangerous corners created by locked and barred doors, turning sections of the crowd into literal dead ends. In a packed show, this isn't just inconvenient--it's reckless. Crowd flow is terrible, visibility is poor, and the setup feels like an accident waiting to happen. Any venue that locks people into boxed-in corners during high-capacity events has fundamentally failed at its most basic responsibility. Then there's the so-called VIP area, which might be the biggest scam of the entire experience. Instead of offering better sightlines or proximity to the stage, VIP is completely separated from the performance, drained of energy, and bizarrely isolated. You're not paying for exclusivity--you're paying to be removed from the show you came to see. It feels less like VIP access and more like being banished to a poorly thought-out annex. The restrooms are another low point. The attendants are aggressively overbearing, hovering, directing, and policing behavior to an absurd degree. It's uncomfortable, unnecessary, and adds to the feeling that the venue doesn't trust or respect its own patrons. And if you're unlucky enough to attend during bad weather, good luck. There's no cover outside for rain, meaning guests are left standing around getting soaked with zero accommodation or planning. For a venue that hosts large crowds and charges premium prices, this level of disregard is embarrassing. All of this combines into an experience that feels hostile, unsafe, and poorly managed from top to bottom. Silo Dallas isn't just a bad venue--it's one that seems fundamentally uninterested in the comfort, safety, or enjoyment of the people keeping it in business. Save your money and your time.
