I will not be returning to four dogs. Used to like to come here because it is a short distance from where I live, but there are better options nearby. The workers were rude the last time I went in, we went 5 minutes before close and shopped quickly but could tell they were upset. The guy with the beard gave us some sass while we were checking out and I did not feel welcome. The only redeeming quality is the dogs, which there are rarely four of. Always attentive and helpful when searching for wine or spirits and when they didn't have what I was looking for in stock they offered to order anything from single bottles to a case of the product. The order came in within days and since they now know I'm local and will be patronizing their store going forward and referring more of my own clients and friends to become customers for them, they will keep the products I prefer in stock. They have sensational array of ingredients for true mixologists, plus condiments and snacks and garnishing tools and treats. They will gift wrap AND DELIVER! Their location is right next to Whole Foods, yet their prices are not exorbitant. They compete well with other local boutique liquor and wine stores. Their selection of tequila is amazing and the store has a colorful, vibrant, and playful vibe, but is very organized and clean. This is a great store in a great location, the store size makes it a pleasure to shop where most other stores feel like you are in a closet. Everything is well organized. Lovely wines at great temps as long as you like to buy $15 bottles of red from Tuscany for $37 then this is the store for you. Also if paying $15.99 for $9.89 Prosecco is your thing , again this is your spot. In addition you have the added bonus of joining their frequent customer list and getting a cute little swipe card where every time they overcharge you they give you Thank You points you can recover for discounts and specials where every twenty years you get one full bottle of red wine for every $1000 you have spent there. Just make sure to use that little fob card thingy otherwise 20 years could pass and if you are not careful you could miss out on your complimentary bottle. Also they have some lovely Chianti Classico where they charge as if they had Chianti Classico Reserva snd got to watch that ruse too. Such a great location performing the equivalent of the Great Train Robbery Biggs style and they never get arrested. Even Biggs was caught in the end. I find Catherine's store to have as interesting a selection at honest prices without the fobby thingy promise of one bottle every 20 years deal. Oh dear where shall I buy my wine?? So hard. Asssssholes!!! Cashier spoke so fast he was inventing new words. So hurried and there was no one behind me. They care more for their dogs than their customers. Only reason they stay afloat is because they are right next to the busiest grocer in the valley and they do carry a lot of hipster microbrews so that helps I'm sure. Hopefully Whole Foods will carry alcohol soon so I won't need to step foot in their dog shit again. read more

The people running this place are snobs! I bought a couple of over-priced bottles of wine at this establishment. When I was checking out the woman behind the counter was complaining to her two male co-workers about an unfavorable review on Yelp. She did not greet me when I approached the counter, nor did she bag my two bottles of wine. I had to ask for a bag for my wine. In the midst of her non-stop grousing, she said "I just don't know how to make it go away".
