Ate lunch here while on a work trip in Carbondale. Great outdoor covered patio. Service was friendly and very accommodating. My colleague wanted the chicken parm which was one on the dinner menu but they gladly made it for him and it was delicious! Chicken was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside and juicy and tender inside. We got the burrata and tomato app which was drizzled with balsamic and came with toasted bread. I got the blackened salmon pasta in a light cream sauce which had great flavor!

We traveled to Carbondale to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with our extended family. The first dining experience in the valley this trip was to Mezzaluna Willits to celebrate my birthday and my son's MIL's birthday. There were 10 of us and we had a fun and fabulous dinner. Everyone ordered so many different dishes and everyone loved their food. I had the chicken piccata and I absolutely loved it. (5+/5!) our server Josh said that local regulars will come in weekly to have it and now I wish I could too! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the accompanying polenta and asparagus were perfect flavors to enhance the entire dish. The other entrees ordered were the Margherita pizza, Caesar salad, salmon risospecial, arugula pizza, chicken and noodles, mushrooms and pasta...so much variety. (The only comment heard for constructive feedback was that the pizza crust needed more flavor as it was very plain tasting.) The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. Josh was a super server to our big group. I think it helps to have locals with you as the camaraderie is evident with fellow residents and business owners. I would love to return again, maybe before we leave. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Hilton across the way and decided to give this restaurant a try since it was within walking distance. We looked at the menu online and saw Oso Bucco on the menu which is what really drew us in, but upon arriving was told it was not available. However, they redeemed themselves with good steak carpaccio and great homemade pasta. The wine list is a little light on Italian wines, it's "lite" authentic Italian inspired, but it's not terribly busy and so easy to get into and service is good. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but the patio does look like a great place to enjoy an aperol spritz on a hot day.

Walked in and then right out. It had a strong fish odor and was not a warm and inviting environment.

Sandy was my server and she was great. Attentive without hovering, the kind of service you'd expect at a much fancier place. I decided to move from the bar to a high top when my salad arrived and she immediately jumped in to help me get resettled. Later my napkin slid off my lap and she had a fresh one down before I even reached for it. I ordered the Rocky Mountain Ribeye with fingerling potatoes, green peppercorn sauce, gorgonzola, and braised onions. It came out thinner than I usually like my steak cut, so I was a little skeptical at first, but it was cooked perfectly and very tender. The gorgonzola on top made the dish. The flavors were incredible! The fingerlings were fine but forgettable. Didn't matter -- the steak carried the plate. I also had the side salad, which I almost didn't bother with, but as it turned out, the ranch dressing was scratch-made and they toss in thin-sliced green apple, which really elevated a simple side salad. Can't figure out why this place wasn't busier. Food and service this solid deserve a full room.

Windows give a lot of inside light, decent spacing between tables so you don't feel awkward or squished. We were seated quickly. The host and servers were all nice and checked on us regularly. We started with drinks- my wife had an Irish coffee (strong!) and I had a Bloody Mary; this thing was LOADED with celery, carrot, something pickled, bacon, etc and it was divine. I wish I had taken a picture of the menu because it had some different offerings compared to what is currently on the website so unfortunately, I cannot recall the names of what we ordered but they were both fantastic! Descriptions as follows- My wife had some kind of pork hash with 2 poached eggs and caramelized onions that was melt in your mouth delish! It was a fairly large serving; she ended up saving about half of it for a meal later. I ordered a dish that had caramelized sweet potatoes, spinach, smoked salmon, spinach, mushrooms, poached eggs and an aioli - this was delightfully fresh but also filling. All the "ratios" of ingredients felt perfectly matched. Overall, if I am ever back in this area I will definitely be stopping here again!

It is the cutest, most quaint space you could imagine. We started out with the cheese plate and some drinks. Everything was excellent. I opted for the elk, my husband the 8 oz steak and our son the kid's burger. The wildflower honey and salt biscuit had been living in my head for a year and definitely wanted to get that again. We started with the biscuit and the the hamachi crudo, which was prepared like ceviche and served over homemade sourdough. This was delicious!! So fresh and good seasoning - would've prepared the sourdough be sliced slightly thinner and crispier but it was delicious. For entrees, we split the bone in pork chop (sauce espagnole, sweet corn, red pepper, chimichurri) and Pommes Dauphinoise. Both were massive portions and more than enough for us to split. I personally didn't love the pork chop flavor but that was me - the corn reminded me of succotash which I'm not a huge fan of. However the pork was cooked really well and it was a beautiful plate. The potatoes were very rich and we ended up taking most of them as leftovers. Appetizers hit it out of the park for us and entree was solid! Really cute place in Carbondale.
