After traveling to different wine regions including South Australia we were very impressed with…read moreArizona Wines. It should be noted that with a couple of exceptions the wines are all seem to be made in the Willcox, AZ area which is located in South East Arizona. We visited the following tasting rooms during our week long visit to the area. 1. The Jerome Winery 2. Arizona Stronghold 3. Merkin Vineyards 4. Winery 101 5. Pillsbury Wine Company 6. Tantrum Wine 7. Winery 1912 8. Salt Mine Wine 9. Carlson Creek We found wines that we enjoyed at each of these with focus on the Syrah and Syrah blends. Most of these red wines are very smooth and silky with a fruit forward flavor. We found these wines to be actually better than many you would find in the Mclaren Vale region of South Australia, which is famous for their Syrahs. Our favorite hands down were the wines from the Pillsbury Wine Company. Each of these winery's charge between $12-15 for a tasting but most, with the exception of the Jerome Winery and Winery 1912, waived the tasting fee with a purchase of a bottle. We also noted that Tantrum Wine and Winery 1912 did not offer water with their tasting which I believe is pretty important. All in all if you enjoy wines and wine tasting the Verde Valley Wine Trail is a must do.

Then, some of the wineries don't have QR codes to scan. We managed to obtain some hard copy maps, but we don't know if they will even be accepted. It is kind of frustrating that they offer this chance to win a prize, but there are so many technical issues with it.

We were so excited that they were…read morewilling to pick us up at our Airbnb since we were staying outside of Sedona in the village of Oak Creek. We also had massages booked in the morning, and asked if we could be picked up after 12:30 so we would have enough time to get ready, and they came right on time! We visited 3 wineries: Alcantara (great service), DA Ranch (great ambiance), and Page Springs (great wines!) Our driver JB and our group truly made the experience. We all became fast friends and JB was truly there with service in mind. From being flexible for pickup and drop off locations (he actually dropped us off at a place for dinner instead of back at our Airbnb!), to being willing to go back and forth from the bar to personally serve us our wine flights, to being extremely knowledgeable about the wines, the Arizona landscape, and the wineries, it truly was the #JBExperience. I definitely recommend this tour company if you have an afternoon in Sedona and want to try out the wine scene!

It's great that they pick you up and drop you off at your hotel so you can drink responsibly! Keith has some great humor and history of Sedona on the way to each winery keeping things fun and interesting. We went to Alcantara, Page Springs, Javalina Leap (where we had our picnic) and Oak Creek wineries. Such a great wine tour which we got a great deal on Groupon. Normally $100 for $65 and it's a 5 hour tour. I'd go again!! Thanks Keith and thanks Sedona Wine Tours!

We had the combo flight & our Birthday girl ordered the Rosé flight. All were delicious! We opted for a glass each of our 3 favorites (and a bottle of each to bring home). After hearing the history of the vines & the property we wandered freely onto the many patios to enjoy the light breeze and pleasant decks on the enchanting vineyard. Just a lovely place! We highly recommend a visit- the customer service was impeccable, Shaun was so friendly, approachable & knowledgable. We can't wait to return!

It's about an hour and a half from Phoenix, but the drive went by pretty quickly. When we arrived, parking was simple, with separate areas for the public and members. We got there around 2 p.m., and there was already a line at the entrance, but we only waited about 10 minutes before being seated on the patio. The weather was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying a glass of wine. The menu had a ton of options, especially for flights, Chilled, Combo, Red, Dessert, Brandy, and more. The food menu was just as tempting, with plenty of choices. We started with the Red Flight and ordered the Chef's Taco Special and Truffle Kettle Chips, which paired really well with the wines. After that, we tried the Brandy Flight and finished with the Dessert Flight, and we ended up finding a few favorites among them. After tasting, we took a walk around the vineyard. There are outdoor tables where you can sit if you have pets with you, and one of the seating areas is right by the river. The sound of the water makes the whole place feel extra calm and relaxing. If you don't want to sit in the main restaurant area, you can also order everything picnic-style and enjoy your food and wine with the view. They do have a Wine Club for anyone who wants to visit regularly, but we didn't join because we're not big on commitment. Even so, we'll definitely be back. It's a great spot to unwind, sip some good wine, and just relax for a while.
