The new location, from platt street to 12th street. Literally when you walk inside same bar same layout de ja vu. They still have the best, most fresh Guinness on tap in Tampa Bay.

This location, downtown Tampa, has the same feel as the (now gone) original. It's friendly, open and wonderful. Plenty of tables and a big bar. Dinner was the Seafood Mac and Cheese, which was phenomenally good-very cheesy with lobster and shrimp-absolutely delicious, and the Fried Fish and Chips. The fish was enormous and plenty of fries-also delicious. The Guinness is just like Ireland-they have separate coolers, their own lines for the beer-tastes like the Irish Guinness, not the imported draft. If you're a Guiness lover, this is the place to come. Magner is the cider on hand, along with a full bar. It was a wonderful meal, atmosphere, waiter was great....I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Worst device possible. Avoid. Bartenders are unable to to make drinks and can barely take food orders. Do not go. Very disappointing.

Also free parking for the first two hours.! I came for the craft beer selection, and was not disappointed. Chris, the bartender was quite friendly, and kept things moving across a busy bar. There was live music until about 7:30, when the football game started. My wife and I came on a Monday, so it was smashed burger night for nine dollars. It was a pretty good burger, and the fries were excellent. Will bookmark this place for the next time I fly in and out of Tampa.

The fries are natural cut which I love. I also tried the chicken wings. I normally enjoy crispy wings, but these were fried a bit too hard for my liking. The server did mention they're still recovering from the Super Bowl rush, so some items were a little different than usual including wing size, which she said is typically bigger. I went with a vegan friend who really enjoyed their vegan burger, so it's nice to see solid options on both sides of the menu. Full bar, lively atmosphere, and great burgers make this a spot worth checking out for a good pub experience.

I love that it's casual, but still in a good area, and being in Hyde Park is a big plus since there's always a lot of action and people around. We always get the pretzel and the boneless chicken wings with the sweet Thai chili sauce. Those two appetizers are our absolute favorites and we get them every single time. We frequent this place so much that the servers know us by name, which really says a lot. The service is always great. We love sitting outside, watching football, and just hanging out. Irish 31 is a consistently solid spot with good food, great service, and a fun atmosphere.

I enjoyed a delicious overwhelming portion of fresh cod fish and chips and I will say it was fresh because I am picky when it comes to fish. The beer batter was not too heavy and done just right! Served perfectly with a side of lemon and tartar for me! Such a win! I also tried the signature bonfire margarita which had a little jalapeño kick to it. Magic! I was very happy with this wonderful dinner! As for the ambience, live music and attentive bartenders, what more could you ask for. I give Irish 31 a full 31/31!

We don't get to South Tampa/SoHo often, so when we ended up in the area late Friday afternoon, we knew where we wanted to stop for drinks & dinner. First, the inside is very small! But it has an old, historic vibe that I love. The bathroom walls were heavily covered in graffiti (which I thought reminiscent of NYC punk bars like CBGB), however, the actual restroom facilities were spotless. As it wasn't dark yet, we decided to sit outside on the patio, and enjoy the pleasant weather. With only a few patrons sitting at the patio bar, and no one at any tables, we weren't sure of the ordering protocol. After nearly 10 minutes of wondering if we needed to order at the bar, a cheery server came over to help us. I'd forgotten the Dubliner only serves beer & wine - no liquor. But our waitress, Jamie, was incredibly helpful in suggesting something on tap that I would enjoy. And I loved my Angry Orchard draft ale (or was it cider?)! Choosing what to eat was more difficult! Although the Dubliner has a small & limited menu, we just couldn't decide.... So we agreed to split a couple of dishes. I ordered the Shepard's Pie, and was NOT disappointed! Perfect balance of meat, vegetables, mashed potatoes & cheese. Hubs ordered the Irish Nachos, and we loved the use of waffle fries instead of tortilla chips. We also split a bowl of Bacon & Potato Soup with toast... I could've made a meal of that deliciousness! Sooo good. We'll definitely be back for more of the Dubliner! I have no idea if this is a true representation of an Irish bar, but I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. And we can't wait to try the fish & chips on a return visit... We saw a couple of plates delivered to a neighboring table before we left, and were stunned at the mountain of fried fish! I'd also like to sit at the big, old bar inside, and experience that ambiance.
