The Irish Whiskey selection is on par!

You want authentic Ireland welcome this is the place! The service is amazing as was the food! The Guinness fries with gravy I can't even begin to describe the flavor aside just get it! You will not regret it! The restaurant is filled with history and the whisky is some you will not find just anywhere. The corn beef sandwich with the mustard hit the spot along with the slaw. If you haven't been here this is one I highly recommend coming! Slainte!

I think this location is growing on me. Certainly isn't the original, however, the location is pretty central, right downtown and easily accessible from Curtis Hixon and the Riverwalk. I do hate that downtown has implemented required paid parking everywhere 24/7 now. That's a deterrent, but not 4GF's fault! The food is decent, I've had the Cobb salad with chicken multiple times and the fish n chips. Magners is almost always my choice of drink. I've sat inside and out. I've sat at the bar. I've been here during the week, on weekends, day time and night. But I've not really been here on a Saturday night when they have live music. Usually the Saturday nights I've been here, there's been some sort of event at the park that has live music... There was this one time a guy happened to be walking by with his fiddle outside and he stopped and played us a couple tunes. That was a fun surprise. The service is friendly. Unfortunately, like most places more recently, it's understaffed. So props to those who are there, it's much appreciated. I like this spot, I am not sure why I don't love it... I'll continue coming back and I hope it grows on me even more.

Great place to cool down on the riverwalk. Super dog friendly and great drinks. Staff is always friendly.

Okay so it's still not the original on Platt that we spent our college days at UT hanging out in for hours - but it's not bad. Staff works hard and even at their busiest, most are friendly and attentive. One thing - damn it's loud. They have a unique setup where the very center of the bar has a section "carved out" for the entertainer. It's cool to have them in the middle of the action but OMG, it's seriously loud.

Cozy Irish bar along side the Tampa Riverwalk, at Curtis Hixon park. Four Greens offers drinks, snacks, and official riverwalk to go cups. Located just steps away from downtown attractions, and open during the pandemic. The brews are mostly Irish, including Magners hard cider, and they offer plenty of other liquors to quench your thirst. The food menu lacks gluten free options so I can't vouch for the flavors. Overall one of my favorite stops to refill while walking. At least a dozen pleasurable experiences so far.

Came here for a business social and had a good time. The restaurant is located in curtis hixon park in downtown Tampa. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic Irish bar. Had the egg rolls, sliders, and mac and cheese.

We don't get to South Tampa/SoHo often, so when we ended up in the area late Friday afternoon, we knew where we wanted to stop for drinks & dinner. First, the inside is very small! But it has an old, historic vibe that I love. The bathroom walls were heavily covered in graffiti (which I thought reminiscent of NYC punk bars like CBGB), however, the actual restroom facilities were spotless. As it wasn't dark yet, we decided to sit outside on the patio, and enjoy the pleasant weather. With only a few patrons sitting at the patio bar, and no one at any tables, we weren't sure of the ordering protocol. After nearly 10 minutes of wondering if we needed to order at the bar, a cheery server came over to help us. I'd forgotten the Dubliner only serves beer & wine - no liquor. But our waitress, Jamie, was incredibly helpful in suggesting something on tap that I would enjoy. And I loved my Angry Orchard draft ale (or was it cider?)! Choosing what to eat was more difficult! Although the Dubliner has a small & limited menu, we just couldn't decide.... So we agreed to split a couple of dishes. I ordered the Shepard's Pie, and was NOT disappointed! Perfect balance of meat, vegetables, mashed potatoes & cheese. Hubs ordered the Irish Nachos, and we loved the use of waffle fries instead of tortilla chips. We also split a bowl of Bacon & Potato Soup with toast... I could've made a meal of that deliciousness! Sooo good. We'll definitely be back for more of the Dubliner! I have no idea if this is a true representation of an Irish bar, but I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. And we can't wait to try the fish & chips on a return visit... We saw a couple of plates delivered to a neighboring table before we left, and were stunned at the mountain of fried fish! I'd also like to sit at the big, old bar inside, and experience that ambiance.

There are plenty of televisions viewable from any seat. The seating is mostly bar top or high top. The beer list is clearly visible on chalkboards hanging behind the bar. There are 30 beers on tap so there is plenty to choose from. The menu focuses mostly on sandwiches. There is an entire section dedicated to grilled cheese sandwiches all served on sourdough. I ordered the Tampa Cuban grilled cheese and it was fantastic. The sandwiches are served with a side of kettle chips. I was happy with the variety of beer and the quality of the food. The only negative is that prices are a little high... but it's expected due to the location.

A group of us visited during their weekend Social Hour from 4-7 PM and were seated on the patio. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere indoors during Social Hour, but the patio gave us a quieter and more relaxed space to enjoy our meal. We ordered the Parmesan truffle fries, semolina-dusted calamari, burrata caprese, wagyu beef carpaccio, and rigatoni. Unfortunately, they were out of the Mediterranean tuna tartare, and our rigatoni was missed from the order, though it was removed from our check. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the visit. The Parmesan truffle fries had great flavor and they definitely did not skimp on the truffle. However, based on other reviews, we were expecting them to have more of a crispy texture, but ours arrived softer than expected. The semolina-dusted calamari was our favorite dish, with a nice kick from the cherry peppers and a fresh squeeze of lemon. The wagyu beef carpaccio was solid with plenty of arugula, but the bread pairing was hard and stale. The burrata caprese was a simple, average dish. Overall, we left satisfied. The portions were great for sharing, the patio atmosphere was enjoyable, and the service helped make up for the small hiccups. While not every dish stood out, it was a nice spot for a casual weekend meal in Hyde Park.
