I noticed a couple of staff members in the back area and they did see me and the other people waiting. I'm not sure why they didn't come up immediately. After about 10 minutes, someone finally came to the front counter. After the other person was helped and left, the staff member asked me how she could assist me with a smile. I informed her that I was there for grooming and she directed me to the back area of the store. When I entered the grooming area, the lady greeted me with a smile. She recognized me because I was there at my appointment time. She asked me to sign the disclaimer/policy document, which I did. Then, she came over to take my dog and said I would receive a text 20 minutes before my dog was ready so I could return. She went into the back and started working on my dog. Roughly 1.5 hours later, I received the text and headed over to pick up my dog. When I arrived, the same lady was there and promptly went into the back to get my dog. She asked if I wanted an electronic receipt, and I said yes. I paid and left. Pros: 1. The staff was friendly and welcoming. 2. The lady in the grooming area was friendly and knowledgeable, which made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with her. 3. The price was reasonable for the service provided. Cons: 1. It would be better if someone was always at the front desk to greet people coming in and prevent dishonest people from stealing items. 2. I received a text with a link to the receipt, but it's just a web receipt, so I don't have a way to save it. I would prefer an email version so I can save it to my email folders.

Hi, she's overgrown hasn't been groomed for a couple months at least. She has prescription shampoo…read morethat needs to stay on up to 10 minutes if possible... lol she is 8 pounds to 10 pounds depending on how much hair she has on her. Her nails really need clipping and filing if you do that. Her ears need plucking, serious plucking, because that's what's really bugging her big time. She's really sensitive to her for her and, she tries to reach it with her back legs and can't and scratches herself instead. I'm sending you pictures of her current. The first picture is her current. I love her second photo. It's really easy to take care of also. I can brush right through it. I love the snow on her third picture and the last picture is basic just as is. It's easiest. The most important is getting their hair plucked out of her ears/not clipped. Because then it still itches her ears. Not the outside, but the inside. I know it hurts, but maybe you have a numbing solution you could put on for five minutes prior. And the other important thing is to get her nails, trimmed and filed and also two do her anal glands, brush her teeth, do a good trimming or shaving underneath. Bender highest most important is to leave the shampoo on 10 minutes, if possible. (null) have fibromyalgia and that's what caused her being over grown. She's been scratching that's what the medication is for or shampoo. There's certain days when I feel better than others and I know that tomorrow morning is going to be good for me, if you're available. She's really suffering and I feel awful for her. If mornings not available then anytime tomorrow. I need to get this done. Having an Autoimmune disorder really limits me to what I could do. Not just for her but for me, especially and it's extremely painful.

I have a 3 year old pit-mix named Blu. He is not absurdly disobedient he just had a few problems…read moresuch as extreme pulling on the leash and easily excitable around other dogs and new people. Angel was a very nice individual and the training price was very appealing compared to other trainers. I was not informed that the training relied heavily on the e-collar until I arrived at the training location to drop Blu off. I have already had an e-collar at home for a while and it only improves his behavior when he wears it. I thought the training would be something like positive reinforcement training or any other training technique besides using the e-collar. I went with it only because I figured she was a professional dog trainer and not a first time dog owner like myself, so she probably knows how to properly train with it. I went with the three week board and train program that is offered because it was the best option for my work schedule. From day one of the three week board and train program Angel assured me that communication would be top tier and I wouldn't have to worry about that. She was very nice and said everything any dog owner would want to hear when entrusting their dog with a complete stranger. Nonetheless during the three weeks it was extremely hard to get in touch with Angel. I would text for a check in to make sure everything was going good every now and then, but I wouldn't receive a response for days on end which was very alarming and I was extremely worried. I gave Angel the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to be that she was busy training Blu. However this lack of communication continued throughout the entire three weeks which is unacceptable. On the day of pick up Angel offered to take me on a walk through in Home Depot with Blu to demonstrate the process of continuing the training at home. This walk through was explanatory and she provided useful information that I could use at home with Blu to keep up the improvements. This was a pleasant experience and I felt she explained and demonstrated very well. Once we were departing from Home Depot taking Blu home I noticed wounds on his elbows paws and his back legs. I immediately messaged Angel and asked for an explanation. I waited two weeks to give her a chance to respond before leaving my review, but I have yet to hear anything. I am very frustrated that Blu was sent home with injuries and no explanation as to what happened. Upon returning home Blu's behavior such as jumping on strangers from excitement seems to be the only major improvement. It still happens occasionally but not with everyone like before. He also continues to pull on walks even when I use the e-collar, the pulling seems to ease once he's exhausted himself. I follow all the routines and instructions Angel provided at Home Depot, but Blu reverts back to his previous behavior anytime the collar is off. I was informed that it would take time and repetition to see real improvements but it seems as though his good behavior is reliant on the e-collar. Angel informed me this would only happen if I put the e-collar on only when going on walks. However he wears it all day and I remove it at night as instructed. Overall the experience was not great but I would assume this is the reason the other training prices are so expensive. I believe the service was extremely overpriced for what I received, and I feel as though I've just paid $1400 for an e-collar and a few pointers.

Angel was able to use all of that in a constructive way to help Baylee learn some boundaries. Thankfully Angel was very open with communication and sent updates frequently which was a big ease on our minds because we felt we could trust Angel, even not knowing a whole lot about her beforehand. We picked up our Vizsla yesterday and there is a huge difference in discipline. Obviously the first week back with us will be the most challenging, but if we do our part, there's no doubt in my mind that these new "tricks" will stick for good. We highly recommend Angel as a loving and hard working dog trainer.

This is my first dog and my boyfriend's first puppy - while we were doing OK with some training we were starting to struggle with consistency, walking him on a leash and not being pulled, etc. We were watching YouTube videos, following training accounts on social media, and getting lots of conflicting messages! Over the last 6 weeks, Bruce's trust-based approach has had a great impact on how we interact with our dog and how he responds! He got to know our dog and adjusted what we were focusing on each week to tailor to his strengths and needs. Plus, he made it more palatable and fun for us and our pup. Through quick 2-minute games throughout the day, we gained consistency with our training and strengthened our bond with our boy. Here was our experience: * Bruce seemed very kind and like he was skilled but I think he either just had too much going on in his personal life to take a board and train at that time OR took more dogs in for training than he said he would. It was supposed to be one on one board and training * We did not receive regular updates or photos as promised. The communication was very limited and concerning * It took significantly longer to get our dog back than the scheduled amount of time. * Our dog had a medical issue during the stay and we were not informed * When we got our dog back they were emaciated, Bruce stated this was normal because he doesn't feed dogs during training, and only feeds them when he is actively training. However it was alarming and you could see their bones * Our dog came back with bite wounds from another dog and was very different personality wise. It was as if they had PTSD. Overall, Bruce was always kind but we had an awful experience and it was troubling as a pet owner. I cannot recommend the services. I hope others and their fur babies had a better experience than ours.
