Our chaat consisted of a lightly battered and fried spinach, which we found addicting. It was light and crunchy with a small dollop or two of a seasoned, sweetened yogurt. We liked the dish, but longed for a bit more yogurt to temper its natural dryness. For our entrées, my wife decided on the Baingan Masala and I opted for the vegetable biryani. It's nice that Spice offers a mild, medium or hot spice level. Indian cuisine is all about the spices and they are explained in detail on a wall poster above the buffet unit. Pretty cool. Mt wife ordered mild heat for her dish (stewed eggplant with onions, tomatoes, and spices), and I chose medium. The spiciness was right on. Both dishes were tasty, but nothing we would order again. There is a family friendly diner side and a bar side which looks cozy and has gambling machines. It would be nice if the door was more clearly labeled as the bar door, since I wasn't sure if I was allowed to go in or if it was the bathroom or what?
