For the most part, it's a decent place to eat. I never know how the food is going to be from one visit to the next though. Sometimes everything is really nice and hot. Then the next time we go in, things are barely warm and so-so. One complaint I do have, I wish they would make the green beans the way they did when they first opened, with the garlic and pickled turnip/vegetable. It was SO good!! Recently they've had red peppers or something in it. Not so good at least in my opinion. Service always seems to be good. We've only had an issue once where we were waiting a bit for refills of our drinks. There is a lot on the buffet to choose from... a decent selection for the money. read more

From the outside it doesnt look that impressive but once you walk in its a totally different vibe. Super modern and looks really nice. Its not that far off from other chinese buffets I've been to but their selection was really good. They had a lot of things to choose from and the food was actually decent. Some food, of course, was great and was over/under cooked but all together not that bad. I would've just given it a 3 star but the owner sat down with us and talked about how he opened the restaurant and he was super friendly and kind so that boosts the score up a little. I ordered the steak and watched them cook it and he used the same tools to cook the steak to cook raw chicken so that wasn't that great. But the pho had amazing flavor compared to other buffet phos, so that was a plus. You also can't beat the price. For that price I wouldn't expect to have that much variety in food and I wouldn't expect the quality to be as good as it was. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the place overall and the really great price. If you don't like sushi, you might like the Americanized Chinese food. If you don't like that, they had American food. If you don't like that, there were seafood choices like crawfish. I feel like this place definitely tries to cater to everyone to find something everyone will like. I tried sushi, fried food (egg roll, crab rangoons), Chinese chicken choices (black pepper chicken, teriyaki chicken, and one other). I was not a fan of the egg roll or the potsticker. Both just tasted bland to me and needed more seasoning (scallion, ginger, salt and pepper). The sushi was pretty alright for a buffet in West Virginia. I haven't gotten sick and neither has my coworker. I didn't take a video of the fruit/dessert bar but their fresh fruit was good for an end of meal choice. For the service, you walk in and ask for a table. Then a server takes your drink order and you're free to go to the buffet or to order at the ramen/hibachi/pho line. Got there shortly after 3 so we saw what was for lunch and then dinner. Lots of missing fried seafood from usual Chinese buffets like the salt and pepper shrimp, calamari or crab legs from the one in Hagerstown. The things added for dinner were just meats - ribs, ham, turkey and roast beef. We sampled the ramen and pho. We liked the pho better save for the chicken pho which had the sliced deli chicken for sandwiches. That was strange since they used real chicken (maybe rotisserie?) for the ramen. Very clean and it's so bright in there. Price is not bad but because the selection was dismal, our group agreed that we enjoy the one in Hagers more. read more

They offer no tofu items, the ingredients of the items in the buffet are not listed, there was what looked like part of a salad bar with no dressing only lettuce, the vege egg rolls were soft and doughey, in the corner was pizza that looked like it had been there for a week, the vehetable ramen was not tasteful and i was concerned if the broth was vegetable. I wont go back. The omnivore with me says the food was hot and good. The service was great very nice people! All of the food I have had there is always fresh. We have gone multiple times at different times of day. We have always had fast, efficient, polite service. There has never been a time we had a dirty plate or table. Although there may have been foods that we preferred over others, it was not due to lack of flavor, just preference. It can be crowded at times, but why not? They are exceptional at what they do. The lights are not so bright that you cannot be comfortable nor is it ever so loud that I cannot hear my husband talk. I appreciate the variety of selections, especially sushi, as I am able to try new things I wouldn't normally think to order. The takeout and the buffet itself are very reasonable in price. Came here for lunch (Friday before Christmas). Needed to get my Asian food fix before Christmas. There was a line waiting to be seated but the host sat me down fast. Very clean restaurant. Amazing food. Great lighting and friendly staff. Buffet laid out so you are not cramped. Buffet includes salad bar, appetizers, soups, usual offerings in a buffet, sushi, hibachi to include ramen, and dessert. Good value for your money and we know how that is . I really don't understand all these low reviews. Maybe they're showing up a bad times or just have super high standards for a buffet. I don't know. Me on the other hand, my wife and I love this place. 95% of the food on the buffet is usually very fresh, hot and very tasty. Some of the least popular stuff on the other hand is sometimes a little old and not quite so hot but overall very pleasing. I haven't had anything on the buffet yet that was undercooked or overcooked. Every buffet tray is always full. They've always had fried chicken and bacon wrapped shrimp is very good but wish it wasn't soaking in a pan of water. Other than that, I have no complaints and I'm really not complaining about that. I don't know what kind of service could be bad. Seeing as the only service you get is a drink cup when you need it filled. I'll bring my own drink so I don't need that service. The egg soup is some of the best I've ever had. The sushi is always up to par, although may not be super cold as a lot of it sits and I don't see a lot of people getting sushi. read more

Have read the 1-star reviews and have come to the conclusion that 1) these people are impossible to please or 2) they are from a competitor, or 3) they are the type of people whose lives are so incomplete they give poor reviews of restaurants they've never been to. 1. The hostess station is always staffed with friendly smiling faces. Very courteous. 2. The servers very quick and remove used plates often. Very courteous and friendly. 3. The food here is delicious, plentiful, and hot. My husband noted that even at lunch, it was the best variety of buffet he's ever been to. What's great also is the variety of food we don't find elsewhere. Again, my husband is a picky eater, but he very much enjoyed the plethora of chicken dishes he's never had. 4. Was the food 100% for me? No. I wasn't crazy about the crab Rangoon, but then again, I'm not a fan of cream cheese. Everything else I had was spot on. 5. We did like the variety of deserts! Here today for lunch with family - 9 of us - 5 adults and 4 children. Our tables were never bussed. The used plates were never taken away. The crab legs were to be on a Christmas special per their website for $5.99 a pound and they charged us the regular $8.99 a pound. See attached photo. Then when the server who did nothing but bring us drinks once and brought the crab legs to the table, there was a 15% automatic gratuity on the bill for over $28.00. He didn't even buss the table. When I told him that he hadn't done anything to earn that he told me that he had it all "on camera". Never again !!! read more

We got there at 4:45 pm on a Saturday. It was crazy busy with about 75+ people there (or that is what it felt like). Most tables were full. That surprised me. The food was hot and fresh... because there were 75 people eating the food. When things ran out, like white rice or noodles, it was full by the time I went back up. It was super bright in the entire restaurant. The moment you walk through the doors. Again, the lighting, It's weird... it's a sterile feeling, but at the same time, you feel like you are in a dream. Like there was a haze on everything. There were 3 buffet tables, 2 with hot food and 1 with deserts. There were 2 other areas, 1 with sushi and salads. The other was where you could order hibachi and ramen (there were signs that stated this was part of the buffet and no additional cost). I never made it to the habachi or ramen area. The service was good... too good. They touch our silverware to remove it from our plates to take the plates. That lost them a point. But they kept our drinks full, and the server we had was nice. The honey chicken and general tso chicken were too sweet (but not "bad"), the French fries were too salty, the French chicken was really good, the pot stickers were delicous, spare ribs were good, the sushi was fine, I had a Buffalo chicken wing and it was alright, the macaroni and cheese was great, the desert bar was a typical Chinese desert bar. Good experience for my first time here. Food was all hot and tasty. One of the best selections for sushi that I've seen at a buffet. Ordered shrimp hibachi and it was very tasty. My husband myself and our son went here today, the food was not good, I kept steeping on something under my seat it was a slice of cantaloupe, there were napkins under the table, we watched a employee clean the table next to us, he left bits of food on it and a whole lot of food under the table. Upon arrival, there is a huge parking lot. Place looks a bit rundown on the outside but completely renovated and brand new in the inside. I didn't have high expectations for this Asian buffet to begin with but it really took be by surprise. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive, really spacious and clean. The food is pretty solid, they have a good amount of options to choose from and they have a section that's more appealing to the children like chicken nuggets, French fries and pizza. For the sushi it was definitely fresh, probably not sushi restaurant quality but it's worth the money here and prepared well. The ratio of fish and rice is good. The food choices are lacking, they seem enthralled with their steamed buns, but don't even have wontons for noodle soup. No fried wings or chicken. They should go investigate other buffets and figure out what sells. got there at 11, they weren't ready, and when we got in, some of the food was cold. That means it was probably left over from previous day. Tried the ramen soup, and it was cold. We've been there 3 times. The first was the night of their grand opening. Overall I'm giving it a 2 star rating due to the food not being cooked. Specifically the bacon-wrapped shrimp. The bacon was raw except for the very top which was cooked correctly. I tried to explain to the server that it was raw and he just nodded (I'm not sure if he knew our language). In addition, the steamed buns are tasteless. They had chicken and pineapple this past weekend which tasted like they made the dish then tossed in canned chunk pineapple.
