I really enjoy working with Four Seasons Garage Doors. I've used them to replace my garage door opener and the door itself. They'd reached out to me offering a maintenance deal to come and do a tune up. It had been a couple of years since my last service so I made an appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their customer service team is great about scheduling around my availability, then sending confirmations about my appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nino, my technician today, called when he was half an hour away to let me know he was on the way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After doing the maintenance, he found a couple of issues that were due to wear and tear and could become problems in the not too distant future, so we were able to get those done today instead of waiting until I find myself stuck in the garage unable to get out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I appreciated how well Nino explained my options and went out of his way to make sure that I felt comfortable with the work being done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't say enough nice things about Nino. I've never had a bad experience with Four Seasons Garage Doors, but I feel confident that if I did, they're the kind of company that would go the extra mile to make it right. Sitting in my sunroom, I heard a loud, banging, metallic sound and thought someone had crashed into my garage door. I checked everything out, but couldn't find the source of the noise. The next morning, when I tried to open my garage door, it would only open a few inches. Then I realized that one of the springs had snapped. So I called Four Seasons. [[HIGHLIGHT]]8:15 AM Someone answered right away, and although it was a terrible connection, the guy was very patient with me. Once he found out that my car was stuck in the garage, he put me on the schedule for a 10-2 appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]10:50 AM I received an email stating that Nick P. was on his way. There was also a photo of him, so I would know who to expect upon arrival.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 10:57 Nick called to say he was about 45 minutes away from my house. 11:37 Nick arrived at my house. He was professional, thoroughly explained my options, showed me pics and costs on his tablet, then promptly replaced the springs. The cost was very reasonable, in my opinion. He was finished by 12:30. When I read some of the recent reviews, I was initially a little worried. But then I saw that a couple of the Yelp reviewers only did one review (which was the Four Seasons one), and I assume they are probably from competing businesses. My experience with this company is that they are top-notch, and I would definitely use their services again (although hopefully I won't have to for a long time) read more

Three months after MJ installed our garage door springs, one of our door cables failed on a Sunday afternoon and I couldn't close the door. I contacted Four Seasons. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They said that they couldn't come out until the next day to address the problem. I told them that I couldn't leave our garage door open all night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also told them that I wouldn't trust them to work on our door again, so I had to hire another garage door company to install new cables and install new springs (the springs that MJ installed were the wrong size and caused the cables to fail). I contacted Four Seasons and spoke with Abilash ( a manager). He said that Four Seasons will not take responsibility for this issue because I didn't wait for them to inspect the door. There is nothing I can do now other than advise anyone who has new springs installed (I wouldn't hire Four Seasons to do this work) to make sure they install the right size. Every newer garage door should have a tag attached to the door that specifies the correct spring size for the door. Make sure that you review this with the installer before he installs the new springs. read more

So I called today to see if I could get my garage door repaired. Service man came out, walked up and looked at it took a picture of it took a picture of the button and told me there was nothing that could be done that I needed to spend $650 or $895 for a new one. He charged me 125 for five minutes work and two pictures that he took to me. He did nothing that he couldn't have done over the telephone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am very disappointed. I think that that least he could've got his ladder out and looked a little closer and seeing if he could've done something to try to help[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would not recommend this company ever really need to focus on Customer Service. read more

Yesterday evening when my garage coiled spring decided to LET LOOSE as while closing the garage door. The scary thing about it, I was approximately 3 feet away as it propelled and HIT my truck versus striking me in the HEAD. I called FSGD and got an appointment scheduled for the next morning (less than 12 hours later) and it was Tech Michael C. that responded!!! Very PROFESSIONAL and KNOWLEDGABLE. Most importantly a PEOPLES PERSON. Needless to say Michael discuss all my options and BAMM. . . just that simple as I will be getting an entirely new garage door and accessories replacing the 22+ year stuff I had on there. Lastly, Michael helped me get my truck out of the garage which I could not do last night!!!! I will request for Michael if I ever need garage door repair service. They're very responsive when you call and very nice. They are very professional and do good work. But they are really expensive and I get the feeling they try to upsell. I had some work done without calling other companies and learned after that the company charges quite a bit more than competitors. They are 24/7, back their work, blah blah. The seals on my garage door froze and stuck to the ground - as a result, they were ripped right out when I opened the garage doors. Called them up and they were extremely responsive. Four Seasons did an excellent job. The workman showed up with a mask and arrived on time. The repair price was very fair compared to some of the run around I had gotten on the phone earlier in the day. The repair was a very simple one but the technician explained everything very thoroughly, fine tuned the opener itself and lubed all the springs and runners. Some which did ended up giving us a unrealistic quote for a single car door garage motor replacement!! We did our research about various costs of the motor and then called these guys up! I appreciate that the technician wore a mask and socially distanced the entire time. He did try to upsell me though. He said I needed about $700 worth of work to fix my all of my issues. A few weeks later I got a second opinion and the other company said I only needed a gear for $150. read more

Our garage door bracket snapped. The one that connects the door to the drive. I called Garages Unlimited because they had a good deal on yelp and some pretty good reviews. I spoke to Tim and explained what had happened. He was very nice and quoted me a price over the phone. He was able to set up a time frame for the next day. The guy that came was on time, quick, and professional. He replaced the bracket with a much more sturdier one, and honored the price quoted on the phone. He did notice some rusted rollers and brought it to my attention, but I decided to leave those for another day. Overall I had a good experience and will most likely call them again if I have any other issues with my door. read more

I came home around 11pm last night to find the garage door would not open. Upon further discovery I found that the spring on the door was broken in two. I proceeded to send out for a few quotes. Tim called me within 3 minutes of submitting my request at 11pm at night. That it what I call service! I used this service 3 months ago because their ad popped up at the top of my yelp search. I should have known better. They were fast to respond and they said the could come out right away (they were an hour late). They did honor the yelp pricing for the service call, but ripped me off on the price of the spring (double the price of another competitor who could not come out until later, but would have been the same time because Garages Unlimited was late.) I was initially OK with paying more for fast service, but 3 months later, the cheap spring they used to fix my broken spring broke! But now I've learned my lesson and used another honest competitor and they told me the spring Garages Unlimited used was too small, which is why it broke after 4 months. The original spring was 5 years old, so don't tell me my garage door is too heavy. So I'd say fast service call, but ripoff for pricing, and poor product. Cannot recommend. read more
