I chose a day for installation when Kris was going to be out of town on vacation so he let me decide if we wait to wait until he got back or if we wanted him to send his right hand man Daniel. We went with Daniel who showed up right on time on a cold morning. I thought removing the old badly cracked panes of glass would be very difficult. I was right but they got the old ones out quickly and the new ones in so fast and they finished about 30 minutes before their estimate. They only removed one window at a time and our house never got cold on a 33 degree day This was one of the best customer experiences for a project I have ever had. I chose EV Windows after asking CharGBT to find me a great window company with very good reviews and I'm so glad I did. I do not have one negative thing to say. Following this, I received no updates regarding the status of the order. I reached out via phone and text on April 13, 23, 28, and May 5 to confirm the order status and expected installation timeline. It took 54 days from my initial deposit for the door to be installed. The installation itself was grueling; a single technician arrived at 12:30 p.m. and did not finish until nearly 10:00 p.m. Upon completion, I immediately paid the remaining $2,300 balance via Zelle as requested. The owner assured me that an invoice would be emailed that evening, yet I received no documentation or receipt. Despite subsequent attempts to contact the owner via phone, text, and email on June 12, 16, and 18, I remained ignored until finally receiving an inaccurate invoice on June 18. The invoice stated Amount due $2700.00, Amount paid $0.00 In the notes on the bottom of the invoice stated, "Paid in Full" "2-year warranty". The original invoice and on their website, it states 3 year parts and labor warranty. The invoice stated $2700.00 due. I paid a $500.00 deposit on April 2nd and $2300.00 on May 26. The total amount I paid as per the technician request $2800.00 uytu I have tried getting a corrected invoice showing I paid in full, and that I have a 3 year parts and labor warranty. Alex has not responded to my calls, texts and emails. Would not recommend this company.

There was only 1 that had what I was looking for in a handyman company. Included in my list of requirements was BBB registration, insurance to protect customers and very positive reviews on all the main sites (Angi, Yelp, Google, etc.). It was also important that the 'company' be more than one person and have experience in the projects that I was interested in doing. Only one of those companies checked all the boxes: Welter Home Services. I called them and spoke with Kevin about our current and future needs. We had 3 projects. I wanted to do one to be sure I was pleased with their work (I was) before starting the other two. Kevin explained what labor and materials we needed to complete the job. He provided a detailed estimate with all materials and labor stated. Our first project was the replacement of a kitchen pantry door - including the whole door frame, hardware and trim. This required removing the old door, frame and trim - and painting the new door, frame and trim. On the agreed upon date, a Welter HS employee showed up at our door exactly on time. He was very pleasant and helpful. He completed the project, checked his work and made some touchups where the appearance as not "perfect", then did a great job of cleaning up the area he had worked in. We are very pleased with Welter HS and the work they completed for us: on time and for the price they quoted. We are moving forward with the next two projects and are looking forward to getting them completed with the same quality and professionalism that they applied to this first project.
