After my furnace died, I had my HVAC replaced by Four Seasons. The quote came in lower than two other local companies. They were on time daily, wore masks and gloves at the start of the pandemic, and were really helpful in explaining the new system to me. Everything turned out well. Even better, a few months later I was having trouble with the air conditioning during some of the 90 degree days in summer (isn't that when all of the AC units die?). Despite the several day wait for an appointment that would have been after the weekend, they came out first thing the next morning to troubleshoot my problem. Apparently the filter clogged up in an extremely short amount of time (long story short, I should have checked that). In addition to coming first thing in the morning, they didn't charge for something that was definitely within my control to fix. Worst customer service ever. I work for a General Contractor myself and have never met anyone this unprofessional. This guy at Four Seasons told us that he will do the work and then pull the permit, I expressed concern. I simple asked if we will run into the risk of the permit not getting approved or if the city will reject our work and make us do it a different way. Wow! I've rarely been so impressed with a company that I felt compelled to review. Randy came out the next day and have us an estimate that was better than others. Also was not trying to upsell even on things I asked about. Two of his guys showed up next day to install new condenser and coil AC setup. These guys were military-grade courteous. I couldn't get them to stop saying "yes sir/no sir" and they both independently thanked me for the work. I remain blown away at their professionalism. Overall one of the best experiences I have had in this town. Super fast service, great price, incredibly professional. Don't bother getting multiple estimates, you are just wasting time. Four Seasons is literally the only company I'd fully trust in Ann Arbor. Our furnace and water heater have had several issues over the past decade, and each time they came to fix them quickly. Most recently our furnace, which is 24 years old now, stopped working intermittently during the coldest days of the winter. They were fully booked on their website, so I requested to get on their wait list in the middle of the night (all done on their website). The next morning I got a text from Randy saying they'll send somebody in the afternoon! They're a lifesaver. I don't remember the name of the young man who came, but he's extremely knowledgeable and professional. He tested and cleaned different parts of the unit, and it's been working perfectly since. The cost was also very competitive. It's one of those rare companies that would give you the most practical solutions and honest answers without trying to sell you something new. I found a natural gas leak going into the gas valve on my furnace. I made an initial attempt to repair it myself, quickly I decided I did not want to do it. It proved to be harder than anticipated even though in concept it was simple. I called Four Seasons, got an outgoing message, hung up, anticipating to try again later hoping to get a human. Moments later they called me back saying they saw my number on caller ID. I explained my problem, was given an appointment two hours later. Ben showed up. He was pleasant, personable, proficient and professional. He took care of the gas leak. At my request, on-site, he replaced a rusty flue elbow and did a check of the furnace. Showing me maintenance items I can do myself. Wow! Very pleased! I'm not easily pleased. read more

Considering that it was super hot today, a Saturday and I called last minute, I would say that we were charged a really fair price. We just used 4 seasons to get a new AC unit put in. We got a quote from Lowes, and were quoted almost $4000, 4 seasons quoted us $1350 and were able to put the unit in literally days later! I had a really terrible experience with this company, resulting in not having AC for the month of August, paying their company a thousand dollars and then having the AC continue to leak water out of my ceiling. The owner said he would come tear it all out and give me my check back before I could even tell him what I was dissatisfied with. The worst part is the owner acted like he did me a favor. We used 4 Seasons because they had some good reviews. Our air conditioner was making some noise so they came out to take a look. Their schedule was very flexible & they showed up on time, which earned them 1 star. The guy said everything looked ok & the noise was nothing major. He thought it was the fan, but said it would last for another year. He said if we could live with the noise, then there was nothing for him to do. Our furnace wasn't functioning properly. We tried to fix it ourselves to save some money but it became clear that we would need some assistance. We called Four Seasons because of the positive reviews (30/30 on Google), repeatedly stating that the company recommended cheaper courses of action than other services. From the start, Randy was responsive and helpful; Ben came out within a day and advised us our fan motor was bad. He ordered the part for us over the weekend and offered to provide assistance so that we could install it ourselves if we wished. Ben installed the fan for us in a timely manner and the cost for two trips, including assessment, ordering and picking up the fan, and installation, was under $200. Highly recommended. I bought a 3-unit foreclosure in Ypsilanti, with three furnaces ranging from a modern computerized unit to a Truman-administration relic with body rust, missing parts, and a dead bird in the vent. Randy Koch from Four seasons arrived on time, had the right parts on hand, and demonstrated not only encyclopedic expertise with a wide range of HVAC equipment, but also a fine-tuned sensitivity to my needs. Rather than attempting to sell me on a replacement for the 1950s hulk in unit 3, he carefully and methodically brought it back to life, saving me thousands of dollars, and explained what he was doing along the way. Great online reservation system, excellent technicians who know their stuff and are personable and reliable. We had an issue with our A/C on a hot Friday night around 5pm, scheduled online for an 8:30 appointment. Ben, our technician arrived around 8:15, diagnosed the issue within 15 minutes but did not have the part. However, he went and got the part the next morning (Saturday), called us back and setup a return appointment for 11am and we had our A/C back to normal by 11:15am.
