We recently had a great weekend stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston. The room is very spacious; with a lounge area and spacious bedroom. The bed was super comfortable. My only complaint about the room is that our shower did not drain very well; we were up to our ankles in water while showering. The hotel has a great gym with complimentary water. The pool area is outdoors. We went at night and it was practically empty between 9pm and closing. There's also a hot tub. Room service was also great. We had a burger and chocolate cake. The hotel also has a bustling bar in the lobby and a TopGolf Swing Suite. There was a nice park within walking distance and lots of bars nearby, too. I would definitely stay here again! read more

Another Four Seasons experience under my belt, ouh la la, treating yo'self is so worth it! I was in town for the Houston Marathon weekend and decided to go big or go home (in more ways than one!) and booked myself three nights of Four Seasons luxury! From the moment I checked in until I left the hotel, I loved every second of the Four Seasons experience. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. When I accidentally knocked everything in the mini bar over trying to put a couple hardboiled eggs in the fridge, they so gracious sent an actually mini fridge to my room. When my coffee/tea did not get refreshed one morning, housekeeping promptly came to replenish my coffee bar. Of course, I love a good turndown service and appreciated fresh towels both in the morning and in the evening. I also really appreciated a late check out without even asking! I did visit the gym a few times during my stay and appreciated the fact it wasn't packed - and that there was water and snacks available if needed. Unfortunately I did not have a chance to check out the pool (it was SO cold in Houston) but it looked nice and hopefully someday I'll have the chance to return :) Thank you Four Seasons Houston for a great stay! read more

Great hotel with a pool for anyone looking to have a lazy day in Houston. The bar is fully stocked and the staff is i need only nice. I came in on a business trip and was beyond comfortable. Also, for anyone visiting during Rodeo season, staying here means you are one block off from the metro rail which will drop you off a block or two from NRG stadium. It's a great location. Looking for good eats, the hotel restaurants are obviously delicious, and if you are looking for something budget friendly, Phoenicia next door has a full grocery and incredible grab and go options from Mediterranean to southern comfort. There is also a shuttle service (don't forget to tip) from the hotel within the downtown perimeter. Any out of towners not doing a staycation - you can skip the rental car. Beautiful and clean hotel. This was my first time staying at a Four Seasons property and I don't think I want to stay with any other brand now! The attention to detail and service that is provided is top notch. The staff is very courteous and makes sure all your needs are met whatever it may be. I believe each property is different, but here you could rent designer purses and I believe suits for the gentlemen for free! I think I heard luxury cars are next. Step above !!! The stay was so great and felt so much like my trip to Cabo, San Lucas that I would hardly know where to take a star from. Valet service upon arrival, "would you like help with your bags"? "Would you like a drink?", while waiting Oh Common man what's up? Really, down to earth guy, quick hello and hand shake before he got on the elevator. Now back to my review "where would you like your bags"? Will that be all? I though I had my own butler for a minute. Nevertheless, this is just the way a resort should be, the type of experience that has you thinking I hate to go and when can I do it again? It was all of this: King size bed ....... The room was great as well, offered a suite, but I wanted to stick with the room. Fully stocked bar and snacks. Large TV: didn't get a chance to use, because the Resort was that great. 2 Restaurants: 1 with vegan options and the willing to make adjustments to the menu In Room Dining ( can you say room service) ? TRUE FS FANS - BE WARY: The rooms are expertly decorated. The lobby is beautiful. Otherwise, save the heartache and frustration. And pray this property is not indicative of the Four Seasons resorts at large. You don't pay for the Four Seasons because of the rooms. You pay for the service. I find myself wondering if I have somehow made it on the Four Seasons Houston blacklist? That is how truly disappointing of an experience I received at this property. A full 2 weeks after check out, and I could and would never recommend this to any person looking for a hotel, much less a 5 star resort. They must have some serious staffing or management issues they need to resolve. Despite the issues, and even if I was being totally unreasonable (I wasn't) I have simply been waiting on a Folio for almost 6 days. I've been on hold for 10,20, and 30 minutes at a time. I was charged long distance phone calls for a support line they made me call when my TV didn't work? Mini bar restock fees when I had no maid service across the 3 day stay? I had so many issues this stay, I even called to ask if they were having some sort of emergency, or there was an event in town I wasn't aware of. I feel a little perplexed. I have never written such a harsh review in my life. For those of you thinking I'm trying to get a free Four Seasons stay, think again. I do not want a single thing comped. I cannot foresee myself ever going back. I want my correct folio. That's it! Just a receipt. Save your money, and bring your business to another hotel, with less of an undeserved premium. read more

What a beautiful hotel! I was unexpectedly upgraded from my booked queen room to a king suite. Wowza. Loved it. Terrific room service and the room stocked espresso was delicious. The gym is great as well. A good collection of machines, including Peloton bikes and plenty of free weights and foam rollers. Towels and water - chilled and room temp - are amply available. The one drawback is the AC system. Despite being set on 65 my room was very stuffy. Yet the ballroom and meeting rooms were unbearably cold. (How cold? I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The place is super clean and the personnel is helpful and attentive to any need. When I order room service or any thing I may need at other places sometimes I expect to it to take a while but all the times I called down they brought anything I needed within 10 minutes. You just can't go wrong with any Four Seasons hotel. Service is always exemplary and I love how each one is unique unto itself. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are even better. Stocked with Dipytque shower and body products (LOVE!) you will be feeling fancy in no time! The shower even has a deep bathtub for soaking which is my favorite aspect. The bed and pillows are so good I'm actually thinking of purchasing my own for home. My only grip is that there is no fridge space for food if you have leftovers. Booked a room for a family member and specifically asked the reservation person to leave the charge on my card. They then put the charge on my family member's card. You'd think this would be fixed with a quick phone call. These people are like AI bots programmed to aggravate you and say "no, sorry," which is particularly infuriating when you know that they can hit a button and fix the situation. I'm local, I've spent $1000's at this place over the years after Astros games. I've never authored a negative review in my life but I'd sooner stay at a Days Inn then give these people a dollar. I was very excited to stay somewhere different while on a short weekend trip to Houston, Texas. Staying at a luxury hotel, my expectations were a bit higher than others that I have stayed at before. Those expectations were unfortunately not met. The double beds only had king size pillows. The bathroom was not clean enough to feel comfortable using during our short stay, with urine stains and hair throughout the room. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent reservation at Four Seasons Hotel Houston.On December 13th, I had a reservation for two nights at this hotel. I never checked in or stayed at the property. I made a reservation for my intended dates, but for personal reasons, I was unable to make it and never checked into the hotel. Unfortunately, due to my computer being hacked and all of my information being stolen I was unable to access any of my accounts. This led to me not being able to log in to my email or hotels.com app to verify, confirm or cancel any reservations I may have had. I was completely locked out. Of course the last thing on my mind was a hotel reservation that I booked months ago as I was trying to recover access to all of my important information. When I reached out to the customer service team to request a refund, I was met with little to no assistance Despite my clear communication regarding this issue and the fact that hotels.com tried to reach out to this hotel on my behalf to request a refund, I was still denied. I believe this situation is both unfair and unacceptable, especially being that this is a very prestigious hotel. You would think during this season people would be a little more empathetic and understand that things happen. I feel robbed. I was charged $1,306.34 for two nights. The hotel manager was not helpful at all so I have no choice but to escalate the matter through the relevant consumer protection channels. I will be contacting the general manager, Tom Segesta as well as Brad Packet, the senior director of public relations and communications. This should not have to be escalated to this extent but taking from people is unacceptable. read more

This review is during the covid pandemic (July 2020), and the hotel went beyond my expectations! I would like to point out that the spa and restaurants were closed... there was terrible weather, so the pool was not an option for my stay... and the Four Seasons Houston STILL hit it out of the park! From greeting in the valet area, to the front desk, to the room service... each person was smiling so big (I could see it under the masks!). Different departments assisting to help each other (example: accidentally calling the wrong department, but they offer to transfer the message). The covid rules/standards are exceptional: temperature check/interview; front desk Clorox wiping the credit card machines; a covid care package in your room with hand sanitizer, wipes, gloves, mask; fine-tuned room service with single-use utensils; among many other things! As expected, at the Four Seasons, the rooms were clean and up-to-date, fresh food, the list goes on. read more

We found our favorite for the next twenty+ years after eating at The Four Seasons in downtown Houston. My daughters and I were treated like family. The food was the absolute BEST. My dog QT Pi and I visited the Four Seasons in August of 2023 and had the best experience after arriving from Texas. Yes, I am a New Orleans native and decided to try the hotel for a different experience while visiting home. I received the most hospitable and very attentive service while there. The front desk agent, Nathaniel, was patient with me even though my dog Q had an accident in the front lobby during check-in. This is a review specifically for the Afternoon Tea Bridal shower event that we held at the hotel. I was looking for a place that does an afternoon tea as that's the theme I would like to go with and Four Season's is one of them. I was skeptical about it at first because I've never seen reviews about it. Nevertheless, I went with them because honestly, the customer service that I received from this hotel when I was in the midst of booking was phenomenal. I was working specifically with Ms. Nataly then Ms. My, for the bridal shower afternoon tea party event and they just provided me with amazing service. I was very specific with my requests and they catered all of that! They worked with me every step of the way. Fast forward to the event, the room was held in the II Rosso. Upon looking at the pictures when I was inquiring, I wasn't as pleased with the area, but when I got there, the room is actually beautiful and well lighted just like how I want it. Food wise, I thought they were not enough, but they're actually quite filling! My favorite was the chicken salad sandwich, but honestly, all of them were delicious! (Pic below) The teas are delicious as well! All the guests loved everything! Overall, the whole experience is just amazing. It's probably the best experience I've ever had in terms of service + food. So, shout out to Ms. My and Ms. Nataly for going out of their ways to cater my requests also to our waiter Camilo of the Quattro Restaurant. He's very funny and witty! I cannot say enough great things about the Four Seasons in Houston. Another girlfriend and I wanted to celebrate our best friend's 50th birthday with a girls' weekend. This was all during Covid and in the last days of the Texas ice storm. We had lots of ideas and special requests and were blown away by the ease and kindness with which each request was met. From Donna, who made the reservations for us, to Azalea and Dylan at the front desk to room service, housekeeping and the coffee bar, every single person made sure our stay was just perfect. The valets even rolled me into the room on a luggage cart under a blanket to surprise the birthday girl! It was just awesome. We could not be more grateful to the Four Seasons and their incredible staff for making that weekend so incredibly fun and easy. read more

They don't call it the Four Seasons for nothing! Their service was by far the BEST I've ever received at a hotel.. The airline lost my luggage and the front desk/conceirge was very accommodating. They offered/suggested/recommended many things, from the CVS down the block, the Macy's and Forever 21 down the other block, and food/drink to unwind.. they recommended it all.. The gym on the 4th floor is wide open! That's right, you don't need to put your room key in to open the door.. the entire floor is shared with the spa (which has showers and a sauna - it feels like a true spa!) and outdoor pool area. I fell in love with the Locitanne toiletries, and other stuff provided in my room. I had robe and slippers to lounge around in.. and I went on my bday weekend.. greeted with not 1, not 2..not 3.. BUT SIX (yes 6!) truffles and a welcome/birthday card which were all yum-malicious! They also gave me a high floor which had a pretty nice view of downtown. The bed/pillows are super soft - a little too soft for my liking, but that's my personal preference. This place is a GREAT stay if you're seeking luxury.. You feel like you're far away from the hustle bustle of conferences/meetings which is a nice way to unwind after a long days work. I even got to meet/run into some of the basketball players that were playing the weekend I went too! read more

The hotel is accommodating both in direct service and the app. Their app chat service is responsive and provides great customer service. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of the hotel which included a nice sized gym with plenty of equipment. The building is a bit older but has great charm. Outstanding staff, extremely clean, well appointed and has everything you'd expect from a four seasons. I stay there when I'm being treated at MD Anderson for a medical issue. Tom, the GM, is always seen working with his staff and helping all aspects of the four seasons Operations. I've never seen an General Manager so engaged. His employees all are very complimentary of him and say how much they enjoy working at the four seasons and working for Tom. Well done by the Four Seasons Team. read more

When you stay at a Four Seasons, you have expectations of the little things to be right and other pleasant surprises, well this was not the case with this hotel. 1) they did not have over size vehicle parking in downtown Houston. The valet would not take my truck and I had to find a lot myself and walk. 2) did not have mint to make a mojito, minor, but this is four seasons. 3) they did not have face cloths in the room, so had to use a small towel. 4) the coffee was not labeled and they only had two sweet low and 6 coffees. 5) we were supposed to have a pool view, what we got was a pool view of a neighboring hotel, but mainly another building. This was supposed to be a special night, which is why we chose the 4 seasons, however they disappointed. But the ballet did not and was amazing.
