It was low, but after running the hose for two hours, the pool still wasn't filling, and I ended up wasting a lot of water. I called them and told them the pool was not filling up after 2 hours of trying to fill it, but no one came for over five days, and during that time the water kept dropping. I've never seen it that low, so I was worried there was a serious leak. When the repair guy finally came out, he called me several times but didn't seem to know why the water level was so low. He blamed me for not filling it, even though I fill it weekly or whenever the maintenance man tells me to. Eventually, he said the pool cleaner must have left something on, causing the water to drain -- and that was the explanation. Then I received a bill for $218. I called to explain what happened, but the owner was completely unhelpful. He put the blame on me and denied that the repair man ever told me the leak was caused by the pool cleaner not turning something off. In 20 years, I've never complained, and yet they treated me terribly. There must have been a huge change in ownership, they have never spoke to me in this way before. I have pictures from last week showing the water level just slightly below the white line, and I filled it immediately after receiving the maintenance man's email. He sends me pictures weekly after every visit. This company has changed in the last few years, even the cleaning is not like it used to be.

They don't test the pool chemistry. I had zero free chlorine just 2 days after service. The pH was way too high as well as the CYA. The pool was very cloudy one time and they did nothing about it when they came out. I had to call them back to fix their sub-par work. When I confronted them about the dirty skimmer baskets, Jack denied responsibility rather than man up and fix it. Even though there was no opportunity for him to gain my business as a weekly service customer, Ezekiel spent time on the phone asking questions about our pool and quickly diagnosed what he thought the problem was...and he was exactly right. After walking me through several recommendations, he mentioned his "Pool School," where he'll spend 2-3 hours at your home teaching you how to properly care for your pool in about 30 minutes a week. That was exactly what I was looking for. Ezekiel is everything you hope to find in someone you trust with your home: knowledgeable, professional, patient, kind, and genuinely interested in helping people. He never made me feel rushed and was happy to answer all of my questions. As for the outcome...I've officially fired my current pool guy (my husband ) and will be taking over pool duties myself. The former employee is slightly disgruntled, but I'm confident my Pool School lessons will be well worth it!
