First of all: There's new owners or just a new name. PHO DINH CITY! Very basic atmosphere, but clean! Service basic but helpful and pleasant. Food above average. The pork in my Vietnamese noodle dish was a little below average in texture and taste, the noodles were a little above average. Fish sauce, very good. Overall, the food was above average. It could have used a little kick but I was afraid to try any of the spicy sauces at the table. I had a Coke (all pop comes in a can here) but for dessert, I ordered their mango smoothie. If I could give a 0 I would. I'm usually pretty generous with my stars as I am a picky eater, but when my husband (who eats to live) threw his meal in the trash after a couples bites, I realized a 0 star was in order. This is the first time we have been here. We ordered Chinese dishes, broccoli beef and sesame chicken with hot sour soup and crab Rangoon, that was our first mistake. After reading the reviews I should have taken the advise of the others and ordered Vietnamese dishes. Broccoli and Beef: This is the not the broccoli beef I am used too, I have a feeling they have a sauce they use for all of their dishes and just label them according. The beef was ok, and the broccoli was ok. It was so salty, as is most Chinese food, but it was the only thing I tasted. Sesame chicken: same sauce as the broccoli beef but with waaaaaaay overcooked chicken and about 5 small pieces with a whole lot of veggies (which in this case was ok because of how nasty the chicken was). My husband thought he was eating mine because of how stringy and dark the the chicken looked that he thought it was beef (it was battered chicken cooked so dark it was the color of beef). In the trash it went, we hate wasting food but this was not salvageable. Hot sour soup: Usually I determine a Chinese restaurant on their hot sour soup. Yup goes with everything else, in the trash. It was egg drop soup that they put canned mushrooms and some tofu and called it hot sour soup. Was it spicy? I guess, maybe a little. But there was no sour. Again a Chinese dish at a Vietnamese restaurant, I have learned my lesson. And lastly the crab Rangoon: there was only cream cheese in the center and you got 4 small Cream Cheese Rangoon's, which I guess was good in this case because it went in the trash too. To top it off it came with store bought sauce that tasted like nothing because of the overpowering saltiness of the other dishes. Nope. Again, Chinese dish at a Vietnamese restaurant. In conclusion We are not even going to go back to try the Vietnamese dishes. They didn't even give a decent try to the Chinese dishes, why should we trust that they would try with any other dish. We have lived in Sioux City for a year now and are so underwhelmed with local eateries. We love to support small businesses and restaurateurs, but seriously we can get better meals at restaurant chains than any local place. It's a good thing I can make my own hot sour soup and other favorite international dishes, and more authentic than the stuff I can get at a restaurants! read more

Okay Four Season's please look up the definition of chow mein on google. FYI it's not rice.. TDLR: ordered chicken chow mein, got rice instead of noodles. I immediately assumed my order was wrong by the lady stood her ground and said chow mein is rice. Knowing I was going to question my order when I received it, but rather than clarifying it with me, you asked the guy who took my order. Very little chicken lots of wonton chips though...What? They're food very adequate for lack of knowledge on Chinese dishes. I'm usually an advocate for small businesses and family owned restaurants, but saying that chow mein is a rice dish really threw me off. First time here, personally I will not come back, but will encourage others to give it a shot. They have great tasting egg rolls. Reminds me of my mama's egg rolls. The best advice I can give for those who plan to come here is to probably stick with Vietnamese food rather than the Chinese lunch special. read more

The Pho is super super good here. Just the flavor of the broth alone is SO good. I've had the Seafood Pho and it was delicious. The inside is clean. It's a cute little place. Prices are pretty decent. The only reason it's not a full 5 star is not because of the food by any means, the food is delicious, however, sometimes they're not open even though their "store hours" say otherwise. You will call during "business hours" and the phone will ring and ring. It's hit and miss when you can actually get to eat here. But if you happen to catch them when they're actually open, I recommend going here over Da Kao. read more

Ate here about a month ago while on vacation. Can't see how people rant and rave how good this was is. Nothing special. Friends were telling me how good this spot was, and it failed to impress me! Embarrassing. Lets start by how there are smoothies listed on the back of the menu. Tried to order a smoothie. "We don't have any smoothies" Ordered a rice plate "oh we're out of this one" tried to order half dozen of raw oysters. "We don't have any oysters" Well what the hell do you have? Why list items with pictures on the menu if you're nearly out of everything! The food lacked flavor. Very basic, and small portions. Pho broth tasted very generic. Everything just pretty much sucked. Service was lacking as well and it wasn't even busy at all. Pricing is okay. Had better quality for cheaper. read more

My favorite restaurant in town! I have tried pho at every restaurant that serves it in town and this is by far the best! Always super flavorful, #26 is rare steak pho which is what I usually get and their BBH is amazing too. I get the fresh spring rolls every time and my kids love the fried spring rolls (egg rolls). They are small and super crispy and I could seriously eat a 6 pack of them! And the wontons! They're fabulously greasy and crispy and have the tiniest little bit of meat in them.. a must try. I've liked everything I've tried there (1 exception: Mongolian beef). My goal is now to get something new each time I go so I can see what else I'm missing! read more

The only good food I think that is really good here is the pho. I've tried other foods and they're okay. The place is very small. I like going here because it's not much people. Four Seasons' beef pho is one of the best I've had - the broth is a lovely mix of spices and sweetness, the noodles are perfectly cooked, and the beef carefully prepared. Delicious food, exceptionally reasonable prices and a cute place to eat. They also deliver all over town and South Sioux. My favorites are: the Spicy Pho which has rich broth that is very flavorful, a great kick and yummy beef, Coconut noodles (ask for shrimp if you like, its only $2 more) which is creamy and light. The Spring Rolls are great and the peanut sauce is very good. Also, their avocado smoothie is epic. I recommend this place to everyone! read more
