The problem started 2 years later when we developed a leak that was coming in to our pantry. We called to report the issue and they sent our a technician to evaluate. He took the shingles off in the area of the leak and even broke a hole in the decking, then just patched it up. The leak persisted with the next heavy rain and we called again. They sent out the same technician who didn't fix the issue the last time. This time he used caulking and spread it in every crack. This lasted for several months, but the issue continued. This time the leak was so bad that it caused over $5000 damage to our ceiling, walls and flooring. Water was running all the way through to the basement. I called New Image Roofing and they never even returned my call. I got a recommendation from my insurance company and they came out the same day and got on the roof in the rain to check it out. The problem was simple in that the flashing was damaged during the install and they just needed to replace the flashing properly. Ultimately I had to pay another company to fix the problem and then file a claim with my insurance company to get the interior of my home repaired. I would not trust a company that does not even call back; they could have repaired the problem just as the other company did, but it seems they are more interested in selling a roof and moving on. Buyer be ware!!

And I gave them the job, that was on Thursday. They started my job the following Monday early , they don`t play around , they work hard!!, Well at the end of the day they were finished and cleaned up perfect. You couldn`t tell there were ever there. Except I had a perfect beautiful new roof. Well the story doesn't end there. My neighbor on the other side were very impressed also . Even the repair men said the tenants must have did something crazy and harsh to do something like that. Finally after asking around for a few months, a friendly neighbor recommended this place. And after describing the condition my counters were in and texting pictures, they agreed to come out to see if they could repair it. They did excellent work and I am most happy with the solution they came up with. They ended up having to support the counters with brackets and then seal the cracks since the counter were no longer level. It did cost me a few hundred but I saved lots in comparison of having to buy new counters for the broken counter which of resulted in me buying new counters for the entire kitchen...which in reality I would have not been able to afford. There was a little bit of a communication problem in which I needed to provide the brackets and no one informed me of that until they came to fix the counter. Since the brackets were not stocked at Lowes or Homedepot we had to reschedule. Other than that little mishap, I am extremely happy with the end result and the quality of their work!

When he and his team returned to install the finished countertops, his cutting of the countertop material was so precise they literally locked into place when positioned. Even though, it was a critical part of the bid to get the job. Last, informed owner am that finished shower floor doesn't even slope to the drain. No response...standing water in a shower. Recommend hold last payment and proceed with caution and a knowledgeable inspector.

His contract stated that he would be paid half up front and the rest when the job was completed. All pictures are from August 15/16 of 2019. In an effort to try to help out a local company that had done roofing work for me in the past on my old home, I asked them if he could build a deck for us...he stated he could and came out to give me a quote and I paid the initial fee on June 25...he stated he could do the job in about 2 weeks. Now mind you I had no idea of the time frame for such a job...so I agreed with him. He said he would start July 8th...but then he got sick with the flu. So he didn't start at that time. He and another gentleman dropped off materials on July 18 and returned on July 19 to begin the job. They left that day and returned on the following Monday to frame the deck. Every time I asked him when they would return, he stated that he did not want to rush these types of jobs. The contract stated that we had 3 days to cancel...unfortunately that was June 28th. He would continuously not show up, not tell us when he was showing up...do work at nights. I even asked him to not work at night and he and his pregnant wife still came out to work in the evenings. Every delay was due to his wife's baby appointments or traffic. One weekend he didn't even contact us after telling my wife they would be back the next day...then on the next Saturday, while we are out eating he calls and says he is there to work, which was two days after he was supposed to return. He stated that he had a stroke on that Thursday and on Friday he was spending time with his daughter but failed to call us to let us know. On August 11 he and his wife argued with me and my wife where he stated that I was being a bad customer because I was not showing any concern for the fact that he had a stroke weeks ago...and always complaining about the time frame and issues we see with the deck. He also accused us of not wanting to pay him his money. Not one time did we ever mention money. The only thing we did was complain about issues we saw with the deck. The last time we saw them was on Monday, August 12 in the evening, leaving my home...and he did not even say he was done working. Nor did he contact me to say when he would be back... On August 15 the deck was still unfinished so I sent him a text stating that a month had passed on this job and that we wanted him to cease working on the deck and to pick up his equipment and any materials. We would be out of town to move our child into college and did not want them working through the weekend without us there. He and another gentleman came to pick up the items on Friday August 16 in the evening, did not say anything to me and just left as they had done multiple times in the past few weeks. The next week I learned from the city that he wasn't registered with the City of Cibolo and also did not pull a permit to do the work. I contacted another company who came out, pulled permits, got inspections, demolished the work that was there and rebuilt the deck to City code the way we had envisioned for over $2,000 less than Maddox had quoted us.

Not even the insurance company was involved until later. I was being overly cautious and got a number of bids. Decided to take off my gutters as a major pain trying to get anyone to clean them and I'm too old for that stuff. Probably asked a thousand questions and was a real pest. They had done a friends house with no problems there. They were not the highest. They were not the lowest. They were open to me exploring options and what ifs. So signed a contract and San Antonio had almost constant rain so I had quite a wait. Which made me think of even more questions. But finally got a couple of rain free days during the week. They tore off and repaired one day and fashioned new heavier shingles the next. Had a lot of concealed damage on the roof deck. They had photos of the area needing replacement. I had decided to go with a higher rated shingle a 3 for hail and a 130 mile wind in hopes of an extra discount on my insurance. Also peace of mind. Roof repairs are not fun. Changed back to turbines since I've had racoons in my attic via vents before. They even put extra screening on my turbines for my peace of mind. Also got the shingles from the coast as that color and style aren't usually used here. I was like a chicken with its head cut off and they were both patient and helpful throughout. It looks great! No leaks, no wildlife sounds, hopefully cooler attic.
