We recently celebrated Jeff's retirement party in the Barrel Room at Four Sons Brewery, and it exceeded every expectation! If you're looking for a private venue for a retirement party, birthday, anniversary, shower, or other special event, I can't recommend it enough. The food was outstanding. The cheese curds and cheeseburger sliders were the stars of the party--our guests couldn't stop talking about them! The wings disappeared almost immediately, the Caesar salad was fresh, and the chips and salsa tasted homemade. The drink selection was equally impressive. Whether you love blonde ales, ambers, hazy IPAs, wine, or delicious hard seltzers, there's something for everyone. They also offer one of the best non-alcoholic selections we've seen, including two NA beers, a non-alcoholic seltzer, flavored sparkling waters, and soft drinks, so every guest had plenty of choices. The Barrel Room is beautiful and has the perfect atmosphere for a private event. It looks great with minimal decorations, and the huge garage-style door opens to let in the fresh air and ocean breeze, creating a relaxed and inviting space. A special thank you to Amber, our dedicated bartender, who was friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone was taken care of. We also want to recognize Dustin, who continually checked in throughout the event to make sure everything was running smoothly. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests. One of the comments we heard over and over was, "How have we never been here before?" Many of our guests are locals and were amazed they hadn't discovered Four Sons sooner. We've also visited the brewery side on several occasions and highly recommend it for a casual lunch, dinner, or happy hour. The food is consistently delicious, the craft beer selection is excellent, and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Whether you're planning a special event in the Barrel Room or just stopping by for great food and drinks, Four Sons Brewery is a place you'll want to return to again and again. Efficient and friendly staff. Fast kitchen. Buffalo wings were proper size, and spicy! Fries were excellent. Very crispy without being overcooked. Maybe add some ceiling fans as when the place filled up during sport events, the through breeze from the open warehouse door stops.
We hosted our 20-year high school reunion at four sons in the barrel room this summer. Room capacity is for 75 and we probably had 80-85 attendees. The room looked packed but luckily opens up in the back and you can go outside to the patio. Place is easy to decorate. We brought in our own flowers, light and picture strings and ordered food/catering directly through them (tacos/sliders). We were able to sync up our playlists and even put our senior dvd on the tv. We had a little photo shoot area in front of the restrooms. We paid a little extra for a bartender on our event day. Overall, this is a great, fun, casual atmosphere for an event. They were all responsive to our emails/requests and easy to work with! Everyone who attended had a great time! Please book them for your next high school reunion!
Drew's service was amazing. Super busy on a Friday night which is awesome for a tucked away brewery. Got to check out the private party area too which looked awesome. I had the blue seltzer and the sliders with sweet potato fries. Both were great! Thanks so much for the awesome time Four Sons! Also water on tap was cool
We stumbled across this little gem while going to the classic car part store across the street. What a little treat for a Monday Funday. We had the lager and IPA and both were delicious! We stayed a little longer and decided to try their wings and crinkle cut fries. Everything was great! Service and ambiance both super!
Chill brewery in HB. The staff is friendly. They have great beers and the food is excellent. Lots of TV's if you are trying to catch a game. It's not huge inside but I know they have a space you can rent out for private events as well as an outdoor area. Sometimes there is a food truck outside with great tacos. Go check it out and grab a beer or 3. And remember to tip your bartenders. Cheers.
My favorite spot for a cold one I've been to a lot of breweries and this one tops the list. The atmosphere hits that perfect mix of cozy, lively and is also very welcoming. The food and beer are absolutely delicious--everything is flavorful, fresh, and perfectly crafted, making it a go-to spot for both great eats and standout brews. The staff really know their stuff -- friendly, helpful with recommendations, and clearly passionate about beer. You can tell they genuinely love being here. I recently hosted a birthday party for my brother here, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The service was outstanding--everyone was so attentive, friendly, and made sure our group had everything we needed throughout the celebration. One of my favorite parts was the private room they offer for parties. It made the whole experience feel much more personal and special, allowing us to really enjoy the celebration without distractions. It created the perfect atmosphere for such an important occasion. I also have to mention how fun their seltzer fests are! They really know how to throw a great event, and it adds such a lively, exciting vibe to the brewery. All in all, this place really nails it. Great beer, great people, great vibe. I've already started bringing friends here, and it's become my go-to weekend stop. I truly love Four Sons Brewing and will always be a returning customer--highly recommend!
Cool for a small party of about 50 nice little room off to the side with televisions and little bar and outdoor access. Nice food nice waiters clean restaurant.
1. I'm from the Bay Area and have a pretty annoyingly strong taste for good food. 2. I live in San Diego and the food here is really horrible. Fish tacos, great, burgers, ok, mexican food, oddly just average+ This place blew me away. I'm not a big beer man. What blew me away was the family friendliness and the FOOD quality. The food quality was out freaking standing. I love chicken picante, but chicken picante pasta? Seriously? At a beer place? My mind was blown. The pasta was so creamy, the chicken was perfectly cooked, tons of capers, tons of lemon, it was perfection. Apart from the food the restaurant is pretty nice. Video games + gaming machines for kids, decent bathrooms, all pretty quality given its newport beach. I am a big big fan. Hope to come back soon.
Been coming here for over a decade.. not sure why I have not made a review. Know the family- great spot. Family friendly, decent parking. Plenty of outdoor space.. dog friendly! This spot used to have a food truck outside but now they have a kick ass kitchen inside the brewery called alpine haus. Great food and great beer. Even better people. They have a ton of seltzers and or ciders options usually if beer isn't your thing.. even have some wine. There is parking across the street and in the back and along the side of this spot.. this is an industrial kind of business park. It's a brewery. They have booth seating and or high top bar seating. They also have a bar with bar service. You get in line, order and they will deliver the food to your table whether you are inside or outside. They have two bathrooms and a second like separate side to the brewery which you can rent out for private parties and or events. Cheers. See yall soon.
As a lover of craft beer, Four Sons Brewing was exactly what I was looking for on a Friday night. They offer a variety of craft beers ranging from light to dark, with some experimental beers on draft as well, such as the CocoNutorious (coconut red ale; highly recommend). They have a menu of bar food that was quite delicious. I enjoyed their Caesar salad, loaded tater tots, and their churro bites (all fantastic). The vibe is laid-back and casual, with a working-brewery aesthetic. And there is both indoor and outdoor seating, with plenty of TVs showing sports. And my husband and I had a great time toward the end playing pinball on two of their classic pinball machines in the front. read more

Super tasty citra, great indoor and outdoor seating, kind service, AND they happened to be playing an elder emo playlist which tickled my fancy. I plan to return soon to order food... it took all of my will power to not pluck a sweet potato fry from my neighbor's plate, they looked so good. read more

We had a venue canceled on us a few days before the birthday surprise event but Duke, the owner, was able to accommodate us a private section of the brewery. The process was so quick and easy within a few hours of emailing back and forth. We reserved the Barrel room for around 60 people. Before the event, Duke introduced himself and gave us the room run down. We had a closed off section with two private televisions, a private speaker (bluetooth) and a private bartender. There was enough room for everyone to roam or sit. We also had access outside so the breeze kept everyone cool and a quick walk to the car. Our private bartender OH MY GOSH was amazing and super friendly. My guests were very happy with our bartender and he made sure everyone was having a good time. He was quick and swift with going around checking up on our guests. We definitely will book this spot again for mother birthday in the future!! read more

This is my walking distance watering hole so I've been coming here for 4 years. The beer is good and the grub is your classic bar food, but the service is terrible. They act as if they can't be bothered when you're just trying to order a beer. They're too busy having family meals and beers at a side table or catering to preferred guests. I'm all for the relaxed family vibe but that shouldn't come at the cost of customers being dismissed when pouring a simple beer. Not surprising the 70 year old owner drives an outrageous green Lamborghini rather than fix the many holes in their walls. read more

What a gem! 4 Sons Barrel Room was the perfect venue for my husband's 40th birthday. It was very easy to reserve and Duke was wonderful to work with! We had 45 people comfortably in the private room and we did the taco bar through their catering. The food was really good and we brought our own cupcakes for dessert. We had a private bartender and Tony was AMAZING. We were able to come 30-45min early to set up and decorate. I would absolutely book this venue for another event. Idk that I could ask for more. read more

Do you offer any non alcoholic beverages? Gotta keep the Designated driver hydrated!
We have water and house made root beer available. Food trucks parked outside typically have a few additional options.
Do we need to make a reservation for the trivia night on Wednesday or just get a spot early?
No reservations. Usually good to just show up a bit ahead of time to get a spot.

Yes we will. Christmas Eve, 12-5. Christmas Day 1-3.

All ages are welcome as long as they are under adult supervision.

Are any beers here vegan? (Not filtered using animal products)
Every beer we produce is Vegan except for the occasional specialty beer that might contain lactose or other similar ingredients. Ask your beertender to be sure.
Will you fill a 1280z growler?
As long as it is clean and has a working lid then we will fill it for you. Cheers!
Can you bring in an empty growler from a different brewery to fill? Or do they only allow their own growlers to be filled?
